Hello everyone, we are from another country and new to the US insurance system. My wife’s recent IVF cycle was unfortunately canceled due to non-response, and we are eager to try again. I just received a job offer from an employer in rural Missouri who offers UnitedHealthcare.

If this plan doesn't cover fertility treatments, is it possible to purchase a supplemental insurance add-on or a private plan in Missouri that will cover IVF?

​We are incredibly stressed and trying to figure out the best way to navigate this. What are the right questions to ask HR before accepting the job, and what has your experience been with UHC and fertility coverage? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am planning on working in the States on a TN visa, which allows me to apply for an SSN. I need SSN to apply for a dental license. A dental license is required for the job, which in turn is needed for the TN visa. I know the SSN requirement is state specific, and states such as IL have a bypass mechanism by submitting an affidavit.

Typical chicken-egg problem.

I'm sure I'm not the first Canadian dentist working in the US on TN.

Any leads/experiences are highly appreciated. TIA

I am looking to apply for a license through examinations and having a foreign education and foreign license if it matters. Any suggestions to make it faster, as I've seen online, that it took many months in the past.

I'm graduating this month and looking for solely FFS practices. Is this a good idea by being flexible moving to any state with a reasonable distance from a major city? Thanks in advance!

1. Upto, what size do you guys clean and shape?

2. Do you do single cone or warm vertical compaction?

3. Last time failed because of GP pulled away during searing off, ending up greater than 2 mm from the apex.

I just came across the concept of personal cloud storage where you buy a device and save all of that in the cloud which can be accessed from anywhere later not requiring any subscription fees etc., someone was selling WD my cloud 4 TB on FB marketplace for $150 CAD.

Is it a good idea to buy such devices and if so what should I buy? 1 TB seems sufficient to back up all my stuff.
