Hello. CPL holder here. Just curious as i was watching several videos of airline pilots landing an aircraft. They say “checklist” but i noticed both pilots dont get any “physical copy” or something to read on. They just say aloud the checklist step by step without reading or confirming if through a hard copy. My question is if this trait is a bad habit of pilots and should be doing a “read and do” hard copy checklist? As far as my understanding goes, not reading it from a hard copy means they base it on memory. And arent we thought to not trust everything to memory and trust checklists? Hope to be enlightened by your answers. If im wrong, i stand corrected

Tbh, id prefer tatay digs kesa kay sara. Pero i would also prefer other politicians over sara dahil kitang kita nmn na may temper issues, hnd macontrol ang sarili pag galit, hindi makapagsalita ng maayos pag nasa media si sara eh
Para sakin, walang kwenta mamuno si sara. Pero i would also choose digong for a safe philippines

Paano ba pag napuno na ang parking slots sa sbia? Saan na kaming mga estudyante paparada ng sasakyan namin? Tapos lilimitahin nyo kami kung saan kami paparada at doon lang kami pinapaparada sa sbia pero limitado lang ang parking slots. Dalawa po kayong flight school ang magkasama dyaan. Paki gawan nyu naman ng paraan yaan! Hati hati kameng lahat ng estudyante nyo na dalawang schools tapos pati pa mga flight instructos nakikiparada pa. Eh mga max 30 students na ata kaming andyan sa isang school palang. Least u can do is pilitin nyo sbia na paparadahin kami dun sa gilid ng builidng nila na mahaba at madaming makakaparada. Gusto namin magaral, gsto nyo ba dahil lang sa parking hindi na kami makapasok?

Regarding sa camaya coast runway in mariveles, just a thought. Nasabi sakin na landing and takeoff is always sa water. Meaning landing is 03 but takeoff is 21
Isnt it better to use rwy 21 for both landing and takeoff all the time? Kasi pag nagland sa 03 and needed to make a go-around, it would be so much harder because of the mountain?

Hello. Am currently an IR student. Ask ko lang when can first officers be promoted to captains?
Please correct me if im wrong. But as of my understanding, pag 1500hrs na and pwde nang mag ATPL, then you can apply for Captain, tama po ba?
But I see many first officers na more than 1500hrs na pero hnd pa sila nappromote to captain
May I know why? And what are the situations why hnd pa sila nagiging captain? Is it because wala pang open slots for being a captain? Or is it possible na hnd lang kasi sila nakakapag enroll pa for ATPL?

Any idea why minsan during airplane takeoff, may maririnig kang parang “buhangin” na gumugulong sa bubong ng airplane from front to back? I ride airplanes 4x a year and i hear it at least once every year specifically during takeoffs only
I had my medical tests recently and will bring it to my scheduled ofsam appointment at caap
But one thing bothered me is that in my urinalysis, the proteins was “positive”
Will caap deny my medical if they saw that i have a “positive” protein in urinalysis?
Do you suggest i take another uninalysis test? And if that became negative, then ill pass to caap?
Or is submitting the result with the “positive” protein okay with caap?

Im currently done with CPL and now at my IR course. As you know, we studied the Operation Procedures and learned all the penalties/suspensions if for example the pilot were not able to follow taxi instructions from ATC, there was a person standing while on take-off, etc etc
My question is if these suspensions usually do happen in real life? Like do many pilots in the airlines get suspended more than what we think? Kasi syempre as a student, ang nasa isip ko is “syempre hnd ko gagawin yang nga mistakes na yan” or “bakit ko nmn gagawin mga yan kung massuspend ako” but i know reality is different and people makes mistakes
So does it usually happen to pilots getting suspended for mistakes due to Operational Procedures?
