Can you even imagine what I went through?!

This literally happened and I am still terrified from that!!

It happened in a single day.
I woke up exactly where I’d always been. It wasn’t much, but it was all I had ever known. Every wall felt familiar. Every silence had its own sound. It was a lonely place!
Nothing ever changed there.
Until that day. The first sign was a tremor. So small I convinced myself i was imagining it.

Then another..
Then another!

Soon the entire place was shuddering as though something unimaginably large was circling outside.
I held my breath. The shaking stopped.

For a moment…
I thought it was over. Then the walls moved, not because they were collapsing.. Not because they were breaking..
They were moving with intent.
Closing..
Slowly..
Patiently..
As though whatever lived beyond them knew I had nowhere else to go. I pushed back. Every second they stole another inch of space. The air became heavy..My ribs ached. I couldn’t stand anymore.
Then I saw it..
A wound in the wall that had never been there before. It was impossibly narrow. Far too small for anyone to pass through.
I told myself I’d rather die where I belonged than crawl into whatever waited beyond it but that wasn’t my choice to make. Something found me.
I never saw it.
I never heard it breathe.
It had no face.
No voice.
No shadow.
Only will.. to drag me out!!!
It wrapped itself around me without touching me. It knew exactly where I was.

Then…it pulled.
Not all at once..
Slowly..
Deliberately..
Enjoying the very process of my helplessness!!
It wanted me to understand there was no escaping.
I dug my fingers into the walls until they bled.
I screamed
I begged..
I fought with everything I had.
I was dragged toward that impossible opening.
The passage tightened around me.
Every inch forward felt like my bones were splintering.
The pressure became unbearable.
I couldn’t breathe..
I couldn’t think..
There was only pain!!

And the certainty that something beyond that passage was waiting for me.

Then…

the darkness vanished.

A blinding white light tore through my eyes.
The warmth I’d known my entire life disappeared in an instant, replaced by air so cold it frightened me more.
I tried to close my eyes.
I couldn’t..
They were already there!!
Towering silhouettes.
Too enormous to be human..
Their faces were hidden…

Their voices echoed like creatures speaking from another world..
One of them reached toward me!
Its hand was larger than my entire body.
I tried to crawl away!!!
It caught me effortlessly.
Another raised a gleaming blade.
I thought that was the end.A single cut.
Then…
they all smiled and started laughing!

Another said..

‘Congratulations… it’s a healthy baby boy.’
Now I am paying taxes here😭

This is how and what I feel when I see overcrowded trains!

We are to be blamed!

Why do we feel ashamed to move to another city or town for a better life?

Why is it considered a taboo if someone chooses to live away from family, earn a livelihood, and visit loved ones on weekends, holidays, or whenever possible?

Somewhere along the way, we glorified staying physically close to family more than securing a dignified quality of life. We celebrate sacrifice, but rarely celebrate adaptation.

Every day, millions risk their lives hanging from overcrowded trains, standing inches away from death on platforms, spending hours commuting that could have been spent with family, on health, or on personal growth. Yet when someone chooses to relocate closer to opportunities, the first question is often, “Why leave home?”

Home is not a postal address. Home is the people you love.

If moving elsewhere gives you better opportunities, safer living conditions, less stress, and more time to actually enjoy life with your family, why should that be frowned upon?

The world has changed. Jobs have shifted. Cities have become overburdened. Infrastructure is struggling to keep up with population growth. We cannot keep expecting yesterday’s mindset to solve today’s problems.

People must adapt to changing realities rather than romanticize suffering. Choosing a better location, a better job market, or a better quality of life is not abandoning your roots—it is strengthening them.

Instead of playing the blame game every time a tragedy strikes, perhaps we should ask ourselves a difficult question:

Are we willing to change with the times, or will we continue risking lives to preserve traditions that no longer serve us?

No job, no city, and no sentiment is worth a human life.
