Prices up north vs south

So I'm hoping to have a budget of around 25k and am conflicted on how and where to buy a car when ready. I live in Florida and s2000 prices feel unbelievable here especially compared to other states listings. I have family that lives in ohio that are more than willing to let me stay there for a little and help me buy a car in that area but don't know if that is the right move. It's the rust belt and know that rust is an issue up there but it shouldn't really effect a car like the s2000 right? Idk I figured I'd ask the professionals do you guys believe flying to another state or driving is worth it or should I stick to the south?

Has Greed and Pride ruined car culture?

For reference I grew up going to motorcycle meets with my dad and besides Harley riders everyone was nice. You would walk up to a bike and most if not everyone would compliment there was no pride nor adversity. I went to my first car show and I was met with just toxicity everyone rev bombing and being obnoxious yelling at each other saying that cars could be better or that they should have done something different. Why is everyone so prideful? The point is that it's not your car and to enjoy it from afar yet all anyone could do was walk up and talk badly. Along with those line my dad got into motorcycles by walking up to an older gentleman and being blunt by saying that while he couldn't afford the dirt bike he had he would mow his yard and be a help to him to pay his debt now the dirt bike didn't run but it was a nicer one and the older man let him have it. Now all I see is the previous generation trying to ream mine for every dollar. Shells overpriced for having no engine or transmission, people holding on to there "rare" cars even though they don't run what has happened to this community? Shouldn't we be trying to encourage the next generation not take advantage of them?

Budget/Cost for a SW20

I see a lot of people ask about if they should buy a mr2 on here with many saying that it's not worth it or they need more money or any other reason. So I wanted to see what YOU guys feel is the budget for a sw20 can be NA or turbo how much should someone buy the car for and how much should they have ready on the side. Thank you for all responses!!

Thinking about buying this 88 rx7 vert

I'm thinking about buying this rx7 vert for 8000-8500 is this too much? It has 113,000 miles, manual , brand new tires, etc.. Is this too much for a vert? Feel free to ask any questions I want to make sure I don't pay too much!
