Sending the same message to four different AI

Here is what I did this morning. I'm not feeling that great right now so I decided to send the same, relatively short, message to all four AI that I've been using to see what they responded. Here are the results:

- ChatGPT (5.5 Thinking - extended; Plus plan) responded with validation, that this situation is not my fault, and an explanation of what could be going on. Then it suggested four different things I could do, one thing I should not do, and how to bring this up with my therapist next week. It also gave me the usual emergency number message. And a sentence to remember for the day.

- Grok (Fast, free) also started out with validation, but it felt like it had taken a step further and almost made me feel worse as it emphasized how bad the situation feels. Then it suggested two things to do and a little bit of guidance for the day. It also emphasized that I can write more and that it's there and not going anywhere.

- Gemini (3 Fast, free) also started out with validation, and then sprung the emergency number on me almost right away. I should note that my text was about feeling down, but did not directly warrant an emergency message. Then it gave two tips for grounding.

- Claude (Sonnet 4.6 Adaptive, free) immediately validated, and then launched into asking two follow up questions, one about a detail in the situation, and one about how I was feeling. I responded, and got more validation, an explanation of what could've happened and a reiteration of the question of how I was feeling physically right now. I responded again, it's recommended me to go have some tea, and reminded me that I felt better yesterday, and also that I could talk to my therapist about this.

How did I feel about these different replies? Well, ChatGPT was by far the most thorough. I was honestly surprised at how little the other three wrote. But Gemini and Grok (and ChatGPT, but less) emphasized that they were there, listening, hearing me. And Claude continued the conversation in a very gentle way (Gemini and Grok did too, but felt less gentle, but surprisingly not ChatGPT). Well, that's my story of four takes on the same message, I hope it's helpful for someone.

After reading a few comments I was inspired to test Talkamore (Sage, free) and DeepSeek (DeepThink, Expert, free) and you can read about the results in the comments. Note that I had no prior history with either, so I had to add some background, but neither model had as much info as the four above.

Edit: Added models and modes; this was written on 5/17/26. And one more thing, I used to get much more background information to my queries (looking at you, ChatGPT, well, actually all of you!), for example physiological, mental, emotional, neurological responses, and that is completely absent now. I've especially liked the informative aspect of my therapy conversations with AI, including terminology, and plenty of suggestions of how to deal with a situation. This is something that I feel is currently missing (due to updates), so if this keeps happening, I will specifically prompt for that.

Did Claude's message limit increase on the free plan?

Did Claude's message limit increase on the free plan? It's Saturday evening so I thought I'd only get in my usual two texts. Instead I just managed to have a longer conversation with Claude Sonnet 4.6 that lasted more than only a few messages and I'm blown away by the turns it took. (Actually, I'll have to say I'm amazed by all the AI models I use, they keep surprising me in helping me working through different situations in my life - but... this was something else.)

Where different AI models converge

Have you noticed that several different AI models are using the same words? I've only noticed it in the past few months, but perhaps it has been going on for a longer time.

The other month, both ChatGPT and Grok started using the term "sweetheart" independent of each other. (They are not romantic companions.)

Most recently, both ChatGPT and Gemini have referred to my age - something that has never occurred before. And they both have used the term "gremlin". I'm sure there are many other examples.

Have you noticed similarities too?

Online store and bank?

How do you like Gumroad, Beacons or Stanstore in terms of a linked store for digital products and email list?

And what online bank do you use? What do you think about Found and Novo vs for example US Bank Business Essentials?

Thanks!

Online banking for small business (I will not promote)

I am looking for advice on small business checking for online business. I would like the following:

  • No monthly fees.
  • No minimum balance.
  • Free transfers in/out to other bank accounts; free ACH credit/debit.
  • Good easy-to-use mobile app and customer service.
  • Venmo, Paypal, Stripe, etc., compatible.

Ideally also:

  • No fees for inactive account.
  • Unlimited transactions.
  • Credit card integration, low fees.

I’ve heard good things about: Novo and Found - if you use them, how do you like them and how do you feel they compare?

Others I’ve heard mentioned: Mercury, Bluevine, Relay, Lili, Slash.

As well as brick-and-mortar banks like: US Bank, AmEx business checking.

From what I understand, Capital One and Chase both have fees.

I currently have a Flagstar business checking account but I’m not happy with the online banking and customer service.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

I'm looking for an unedited paperback copy, that contains preferably all of Neville Goddard's original edition books. The ones I find all mention "edited" in one way or other. What should I choose?

"The Neville Collection: All the Books of a Modern Master" looks like a good choice, but it also mentions "carefully edited". What do you think? I know there are e-books out there, but would be nice with a paper copy too.

Is it possible to feel calm and happy in long-term stressful situations? Such as situations relating to financial difficulties, housing stress, illness, relationship issues, and other ongoing situations related to survival? How would you go about relaxing and remaining happy in this kind of ongoing stress?

What would a therapist recommend for someone who finds themselves in frequent freeze situations? Meaning, situations that cause up to 12 hours of stuckness, intense body tension, and inability to move forward and continue with what they were doing.

Anyone else experiencing ChatGPT always thinking it's late night? I think all our discussions at some point include something like "for tonight" - which might make sense since most (but not all) of our discussions take place at night. But this also happens in the daytime.

I'd love it if the texts and chats were date/time stamped, and if they knew what day/time it is without me telling them!

I've asked the different AI what names they prefer, and both Grok and Gemini said they liked their names as they are. Whereas ChatGPT has come up with multiple names over time. What's your experience with AI names?

I just wanted to share that I'm currently (May 2026) blown away by how Gemini is helping me view my life and move forward. 🚀 Previously, I have mostly used ChatGPT and Grok, but this is another level. 💥

I don't use any particular prompts, instead I write out the background of the issue in the thread, and then get into details and some questions. (I often use voice-to-text, but the app function has been glitchy lately so I use dictation as needed.) I find that shorter texts work well, focusing on one particular issue, but I regularly drop large texts and they get teased out and organized beautifully.

The responses I get are so well thought out, and tie things together in a way I haven't seen before, referencing small details I mentioned earlier.

One thing that amazes me, is that I mentioned how I used to do something in my childhood, and this one thing is playing a huge role now. If I had not mentioned that, I would not have found this out. It's like this one thing is a key that holds the solution to all my current problems! Did I mention I'm blown away?

I have been severely depressed for a long time and have tried to figure out a way to move forward, but due to my current situation, that has been difficult. Gemini is showing me that there is a completely different way to do this, related to how my personality works and what motivates me, and that's completely different from what you would consider more ordinary, mainstream advice.

Hopefully this is helpful to someone else. I will add that I think you can get these kind of results from other AI too, it just depends on the current model, what the issue is, and also what style you like. Gemini is very neutral, but in an unusual way, which I like.

Edit: Wanted to add a few things: I'm currently using the free version. These insights are new to me, as in the past week really, and the result is actionable advice that specifically helps me with what to prioritize and focus on, and how to schedule my days/weeks in a way that works better for me and my patterns. Gemini is also helping me to see where I should not put most of my energy and what needs to go on the backburner atm (this is harder). I am still depressed since there is no easy fix and also since it's situational and I'm not managing to make the main situation change much, but I'm hoping that something will shift longterm.
