I just finished reading Chapter 17, and it looks like the fanfiction was last updated 8 or 9 years ago, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of completion and aghhh I need to know how it finishes lol.
I never finished the final season of the show and want to check it out. Netflix only has the first four seasons. Where can I watch all of the episodes?

Scrolling through LinkedIn looking at professionals who have been in the industry for a while, I noticed that those who had their reels on their profiles used Vimeo over YouTube. Why is that?
I recently graduated from college with a portfolio and am ready to jump into a job, but how do I find one? The major studios seem to want you in-person, and I don’t live near one. one of the bigger ones in my area is outsourcing to Africa, and the other one doesn’t have a job page. Couldn’t this job technically be remote? How do I land an animation job?
I started learning about 3D art 5 years ago, this past year got into animation, and last semester took a class on character animation, and my goodness, I am absolutely loving the attention to detail, posing, comedic timing, and everything in the show, particularly with Marinette’s rig. It’s inspiring and so well crafted, especially the monologue in Lady Chaos! Her voice acting is also just soooo gooood.
after binge watching seasons 3-5 in only a few days, along with the specials, it took me some time to get used to the new animation style, but now I really enjoy it. the old one has charm, but looking back to anything before season 4 or even 5, everything looks incredibly dated. I also noticed that with the old animation style, there were some blatant time cuts the animators would use or a couple of animation errors or lack of keyframes where the characters seemed stiff at times. of course, Marinette was always very physically expressive, but some parts of the show felt stiff or less professional. I can tell they really put their time into the animating this season.
The scene where Marinette hands the victims a charm annoys me still (the one where it spins around her hand and Ladybug’s face is completely still), but that’s the only blatantly obvious one now. They do reuse scenes still, but it’s much less obnoxious.
The first 5 seasons had tons of scenes that were copy and pasted in each episode (hawk moth giving power to the akuma, sending it out, and the window opening and closing. Of course they reuse the hero transform scenes, commercial breaks, lucky charm, and miraculous ladybug scenes, which can be a little repetitive, but are understandable because it is a kids show. They also modify the lucky charm and miraculous ladybug scenes to fit the context. The hero ones are kinda just nostalgic or stylistic, along with commercial breaks. The hand rotating magic charm scene is the only one that bothers me of those lol.
But yea, the posing in character and facial animations are so insanely good! I would rewind sometimes when the voice acting and animation hit a sweet spot just so I could study it a bit more to apply to my own work. Once my computer is back up and running, I intend to do some animation studies and practice animating using some of these scenes as references.
I’m in the end game on my first run of Slime Rancher and am constantly running out of space. I’m tempted to throw out all of my slimes and start fresh to maximize space and plort production. any suggestions? I think I only have 1 slime left to unlock? I have Micho and the stlimulation space unlocked.
I’m asking not out of arrogance or anything like that, but as someone who is genuinely curious and out of good faith. What is it that you “start” learning once you reach your black belt? once the fundamentals are established from the color belts and you reach your first black belts, what’s next? What do you spend the next 8-9 belts learning and doing?
I’ve reached around 6th gup in 2 different organizations/schools and cumulatively between the two did TKD for about 2 1/2 years. I had to stop a year ago due to prioritizing finishing grad school (thesis is gonna thesis lol) and then had some health stuff pop up that delayed doing any physical activity, let alone something as extreme as martial arts. I intend to get back into it sometime within the next 6 months or year!
But yea, I’m curious about what happens after that first black belt rank is achieved. What are y’all’s experiences, focuses, goals, etc? What does learning, progressing, or advancing look like for you?
if it helps, both of my schools were Kukkiwon. One was more traditional, while the other was collegiate sport/WT.

After a week of very little sleep due to preparing for today, I finally made it and am set to graduate! Crazy. I have some revisions to make to my thesis before I am allowed to publish, but man. This is insane.
Now to find one of those things people call jobs. I wonder if my thesis defense could lead to a job itself, or if I could get into a faculty position at my college. That would be cool!
