The government has committed to light rail extension from GCUH to harbour town
The government yesterday committed to extending the light rail from Gold Coast University hospital to harbour town adding 3 new stations; musgrave avenue, Labrador and harbour town.
What do you think of this proposal? How well patronages do you think these stops will be and how do you think they will organise the stopping pattern. Trams currently run every 7 minutes do you think every second one will split at GCUH or do you think the core line will run more frequently so the two termini both get 7 minutes frequency as Helensvale is the 4th business station on the line
It would be fun to see a little mockup map
What do you want them to do with havensilver?
Havensilver is kinda in a strange spot as its only real function is removing the 50% damage penalty on sanguine crawlers. But the only real thing they drop is more sanguine to make more havensilver and the 50% penalty really isn’t anything anyway as anyone with decent gear does more damage through the penalty than actually using havensilver (even +2)
Though I doubt they would ever make the new continent friendly questline have master quest requirements there is also the fact that havensilver overlaps a lot with the blisterwood/sunspear reward space. I’m not sure if they want to make it possible to imbue the sunspear with havensilver or vice versa. In that space there is also the cup of the everlight we have access to but that’s a monstrous archeology requirement
Since part 1 is basically done what do you want them to do with it going forward
Moonrise and how havenhythe fits into modern RuneScape
People recently have been discussing moonrise and how the digsite; including all its secrets and mysteries can be done in around 7-8 hours if you are in archeology BIS and the fact that moonrise has functionally 3 rewards
- the food relic
- the pet
- the necromancy ring
Now they have been clear that havenhythe part 1 (of which as far as I’m aware is basically complete now) is an early to middle game area mostly which fair enough for runescape’s very mature (as in Omni 120 heavy) playerbase this area can seem expansive and pointless.
But do you think that moonrise; which is ostensibly a mid range digsite with a single absolute BIS item (the ring is monstrously powerful for necromancy rituals) is how they should approach content? A proverbial “do this low/mid level thing we are designing in the hopes that the playerbase recovers and we will give you a high level reward” or do you think all content should be released with every range equally catered to?
From this do you believe so far havenhythe has been a failure or a building block to a future we aren’t sure is actually coming?
Which version of 1000 words cutscene do you prefer and why
Sorry if this has been asked before but I’ve always been intrigued how people view the Japanese vs international cutscene of 1000 words
For reference if people don’t know, in the Japanese version lennens projection takes over yuna during the memory projection and sings alone. In the international release lenne and yuna perform a duet.
Which do you think better embodies what the scene is trying to portray?
What are they planning on doing with brooch of the gods/what do you want them to do with it?
Brooch of the gods in the modern day is in an odd spot. It’s competing for the picked slot space with the scripture of elidinis which is like a flat 70-100k xp boost for a tiny upkeep cost (the biggest cost is the upfront cost) and a lot of its benefits around portables are being deleted.
It leaves it as an item competing with EOF for an alchemical hydrix use as a passive scavenger perk (that does stack with scavenger TBF), an urn storage device and a buff to xp for a bunch of random content that no matter which content it is doesn’t exceed the scripture.
How would you fix it? Or conversely do you think the scripture needs to be nerfed?
Does RS3 have an Ironman wall similar to Bowfa
So for anyone who is on both sides of RuneScape you’ll know that OSRS subreddits are currently blowing up with people arguing about Ironman grinds that feel “compulsory” due to the benefit gained, the big one being bowfa that’s currently being discussed.
Does RS3 have an equivalent Ironman grind? A purple that feels like you have to get it because there is no other real way to progress or do we avoid that with necromancy
Genuinely asking because I don’t play Ironman
As someone who graduated Monash in 2019 and still thinks about all the jaffy’s talking about ENG1003 what on earth is GIG?
Basically title, can someone pls tell me what GIG is and why yall are suddenly talking about it? Isn’t it time to lose your minds about the ENG1003 exam or laugh at people being stuck in the revolving doors?
Is Monash love letters still a thing
I know this has probably been posted before but I’m interested in people’s opinions.
4 occupies an interesting middle ground between 3 and 5. 3 in a way had to maintain random floors because that was Tartarus/the abyss of time’s entire lore point. They tried to spruce them but the opinions of what was done seem to be “middling”
Meanwhile people love 5’s palaces but they arguably only work because mementos is a dumping ground for all the mechanics that would break the palaces to implement.
4 technically could have palaces but it would probably need a mementos equivalent which there is no lore to suggest.
So what do you want and what do you think they will do? Do you want palaces? How would they make them work for 4? Are you happy with “heaven Tartarus” as 4’s strengths are outside the TV world? What about 4’s combat which is the most barebones of the 3. Do you think they will change that?
