Using them as Art

I’ve been replacing ceramics and other art pieces I had throughout the house with anthurium. It’s gone better than expected! It makes darker parts of the house feel more alive. This dining room has almost zero natural light due to the large porch built off its only windows.

Lighting by Rousseau plant care.

I think GoG is underrated. You usually don’t have the browning problems, they grow vigorously, and they don’t have any of the quirks some of the most variegated tend to have.

I think it is because they really don’t shine until they are fully mature and the GoG is more noticeable.

This baby has grown so big I don’t know where to put it. I just chopped the top off to slow it down. It lives on my porch during the summer but it’s still too cold to put it outside safely.

This plant is showing very mixed variegation patterns which I find appealing. Every leaf has been something new. It had an almost white (very mint like) leaf before the leaf on the bottom left. Sadly, I ended up cutting it off because I damaged it.

It’s starting to push out a new leaf and I hope it mixes the aurea with the more albo variegation.

Got this when it was just 3 leaves but had a nice base. It’s a very consistent grower and I enjoy how robust the leaves are. It’s not normally on the fireplace obviously, it was just hidden on my plant wall

I like to grow out young monstera (and epis) quickly so I created 5 of these growing stations. My set up before was very haphazard so I’m happy with this more organized system
