Nbd big calves and stationmasters!

Engineer boots and shorts!! Your welcome lol, don't worry I'll not wear them out into public like that 😂
So I gambled a little on whether or not these would fit over my calves, turns out... no problems!! They pulled on easier then I thought with none of the struggle I get with my Doc Wellingtons! The Ember waxed flesh is stunning I don't have time today to get them
Out in the world or the sunshine but I thought I'd share with you all... because a lot of you knew the gamble I was taking. Thank you u/smowe, u/bigstetson and u/stoic_sasquatch for walking me through the engineer boot journey. Very little heel slip walking around my kitchen and everything fits like a glove.

Helping identifying age and leather?

Good morning Russell nation, I recently received these "vintage"(not entirely sure of that distinction) it's a bison leather but not sure who Russell was using as a supplier when these were made I know they use Law now, based on what I've found researching the patent on the sole these were produced after 1991 but with my research I couldn't uncover further info hopefully someone in here can narrow things down a bit thanks.

FBF (Floorboard Falcons?) 😬

These are starting to break in rather quickly the Predator Orange leather is so cool! I'm beginning to see the start of some toe box rolls. Please excuse my messy floorboards and the golden retriever fur stuck to my sock.

NBD!! First Tanker First Predator Natural

Ordered these back in February and immediately put them out of mind, to the point I actually forgot about them (the best way to deal with the the long wait times). These were ordered after the Contender contest. These things are awesome!

Lost my best friend today

Today I had to lay to rest my best friend and Sr Vice President of Attitude and Boot Testing, was also in charge of testing all snacks.

Tank was the best boy, and often accompanied me on all my initial boot walks. He lived a very long 15 years for such a large dog and will leave an equally large size hole in all our hearts.

He loved barking at random noises, getting into the trash, and very short walks. His favorite thing was laying in the yard in the sun, followed by sitting next to me on 4th of July and watching the fireworks.... oh and Thanksgiving when everyone would sneak him food under the table.

Rest in peace big dog, you are no longer in pain, you fought this cancer long and hard, your family is proud.

End of trip boot wear before brushing

The Predator Whisky Overlanders and Predator Orange comstocks performed flawlessly in Scotland and Ireland and picked up a bunch of Patina.

Whether it was walking on 600 year old cobblestones, sitting in a pub drinking Guiness, walking the Greens at The old course at St Andrew's, climbing Arthur's Seat, hiking through farmland in the Highlands, or just walking the streets of Dublin, these 2 pair never missed a beat.

The Overlanders saved me from sprained or twisted ankles on countless occasions and the Comstocks unexpectedly found themselves climbing a mountain.

These were the perfect footwear pairing for this trip. Thanks for the quality footwear Nicks!

Also my Predator Orange belt and keyclip and 64 brown big daddy 1.75" work belt held up my pants through it all and also picked up some wear.

Good morning from Scotland!

Getting ready to board a plane from Scotland to Ireland this morning, and was preparing to drink my morning coffee while brushing my boots.

looking at the old church across the street when I noticed this would make a nice picture so here you guys go, I've babied these Overlanders until this trip as I really liked the look of the Predator Whisky leather. They have developed some nice scuffs and scars that will forever remind me of this lovely trip..., this is what Predator leathers are made for.

Giant horse heads??

Found these giant things in Scotland they are called Kelpies! The Overlanders are worth their weight in gold! Keeping my feet safe and supported through more miles then I've logged in probably 20 years.

Overlanders in Scotland

1 year old Overlanders standing on over 640 years of Scottish history outside the parliament building where an old tollbooth stood and was rebuilt in each of the years indicated, followed by the cathedral and statue outside parliament and my takeover of a cannon at Edinburgh castle and waiting on an Uber after 20,000 steps for the day. Those are some tired ass boots!

There can be only one!

Heading to Scotland and Ireland Saturday, I don't know which boots to bring because I love them all, I am required by my bride to bring the first 2 pair (we are re-newing our vows and she told me I was wearing one of those 2 pairs and she hasn't decided which pair I'm wearing so bring both) So that leads me to only 1 more pair I can bring with the packing space required, help me decide Nicks hive mind....

1 is sample sale 4" Yellowstone cognac

2 is Botm 005 Comstock in Predator Orange

3 is Overlander in Predator Whiskey

4 is ND2 64 brown with brWF patch

5 is ND1 brWF with 64 brown patch

6 is Falcon in Predator Orange

The last 2 are not broken in yet but I think would look awesome in pictures in a kilt in the Scottish highlands.... BUT

There can be only 1!!!

Other then those first two of course lol

Botm 005 (today known as comstock with a moc toe)

Finally took these out of the house for their first real world experience of youth baseball. So far so good very comfy except for a small spot at the top inside ankle where the top eyelet rubs.

FBF concrete dust edition 😡

Not a fan of concrete dust...everytime I dump a certain Home Improvement center that has a lot of orange on their logo.... I get covered in this concrete dust.
