Q: Completed Commissions

Hello artists :)

I wanted to get some opinions from y’all about a dilemma I’m having. I have a Toyhouse account and when get art done of my OC, I’ll add it to her profile.

I commission art because I like a lot of artists’ styles, but sometimes once I receive the finished product I may not like how it looks on my OC, or the quality of the piece I get is lower than their advertised examples, and one particular time it was very far off the mark from what I asked for. Never wanting to offend the artist, I thank them heavily for their work and never complain.

Here’s my question: If you were commissioned by someone for an artwork piece, but they didn’t add your art to their OC’s profile, would you be offended? Would you just assume I’ve stored the art elsewhere, or would you not care because you got paid for the art and you don’t care what happens to it?

This may become problematic if I don’t like the piece, because sometimes instead of sending the art to me, some artists attach it directly to my OC’s profile gallery. So if I don’t like it, I literally have to remove it and I feel so bad and guilty for doing it. At the same time, I don’t want to feel obliged to display art I don’t like :(

As I’m not in the financial position to buy art as often as I used to, a lot of the time I do character art trades, where artists draw me something and receive a character/s I own as payment. So if I don’t like the end product, a bonus sting is that I then lose character/s I offered because I’m too embarrassed to deny the trade since the art is already done and I don’t want to waste the artist’s effort and time ;3;

EDIT: I cannot hire anyone for commissions at the moment, very sorry!

[Fully Lost] Australian TV Show titled ‘Denise’, March 2000 ep about Mercy Hospital premature babies

G’day beautiful Reddit!

There is an Australian tv show titled ‘Denise’ that ran from 1998 to 2001. It ran for 4 seasons and aired on the Seven Network.

Denise did an episode about Mercy Hospital and its premature babies in Victoria, Australia. I was one of them, only found out today. Now I’m obsessed with finding the footage of it. I can’t believe I’ve been on tv! My mother said it was filmed in March of 2000.

I cannot find ANY footage of ANY episodes, or even a written episode list. So I sadly cannot give an episode name to look for since I’m unsure which episode or season it was. It isn’t unidentified because there is a Wikipedia article and an IMDB article showing it’s existence, but neither have any further info than when it ran and for how long.

Please, it would be so wonderful to see my baby self on tv!

EDIT: I’ve worked out (with help) that I’m looking specifically for an episode from Season 3, as that was the sole season of 2000

My Favourite & Hated Characters (as a 26y.o bi female)

I know, I know. I have a lot of favourites haha, but in a game with 102 dateables and a handful of others I feel like I have an acceptable amount. As for my hated … yeah.

It’s probably a bit hard to make a generalisation about me due to the amount of characters, but you can give it a try! Any pattern you can see about me from these? :)

[TOMT] [Movie] [Pre 2015] Movie about women being invited to something via flying invitation

Howdy all! Okay, this post isn’t going to be explained well and I very much could be misremembering things. But I’m praying someone knows what I’m talking about.

Okay so in this movie, someone/something sends out invitations to something via what I recall as boomerangs/projectiles with digital screens on them, possibly wooden? I don’t know if the invitations are only to women or not, but I the only people I can recall receiving them are women.

I recall that one woman may be a princess as she’s atop a high staircase with a large group of people before her. Or she could be some sort of criminal and the people were there to stop her from leaving. Either way, she runs across the crowd via their shoulders/heads so she can attend the invitation’s invite. I think she had black hair, but I could be wrong.

I recall another scene where two women are fighting in some sort of double story room. I think they both receive an invite and stop fighting, realising they are on the same side or they know the same person or something.

I’m so so sorry my thoughts are so jumbled and possibly inaccurate! I’m trying my best, I can see those scenes very clearly in my head but can’t write them well. I hope someone knows what I’m talking about.

I assume this is some sort of spy or action fighting movie? Google has no idea what I’m talking about. Loo

Free font maker app for mobile?

G’day all!

To save me creating whole alphabets over and over only to have to delete them at the end when the app demands payment, does anyone know any free font maker apps for mobile? I have an iPhone 11.

Like the one where you can input your own handwriting and they make it into a font you can type with?

If there isn’t any, are there any cheap ones (under $30 AUD) that have a one time payment? (absolutely no subscriptions please)

Thanks all! Have a great day/night ✨

[PC] [Pre-2010] Get the mouse to the cheese maze

A very old PC game I had on my laptop. Want to find it for nostalgic reasons since I recently rediscovered Woobies after years of searching

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Maze puzzle

Estimated year of release: Pre-2010’s

Graphics/art style: Top down 2D

Notable characters: Playable mouse character, don’t think it was humanised at all. Just a straight up mouse/rat

Notable gameplay mechanics: At the start of every level, a female’s voice would say “Get the mouse all the way to the cheese.” This is a must. Also, upon death via mousetrap or hole or something - the mouse would squeak

Other details: The maze may have been blue and/or grey? The female’s voice is the key factor here, it’s how I can tell all the other blue mazes with mice games I’ve searched aren’t the right ones. There’s a small chance this is a singular game inside of a bigger game, like a game that comes with five smaller games or something

Folder Thumbnail Credit?

Howdy all!

I’ve had a ToyHouse for years and only now came across something. With every one of my characters, I credit every single art piece I’ve uploaded. But then I began thinking, when it came to folder thumbnails, am I supposed to be crediting the art there?

It’s 80% just logos from companies or screenshots from shows, but some of my folders are art someone online has drawn or in very rare cases someone’s OC.

Am I supposed to go back and find credit for dozens of folders worth of art that I’m not claiming is mine? Or does no one credit folder thumbnails and the main concern is actual uploaded characters and attached gallery art, which I’ve credited every single one.

Because I’m all my years of browsing people’s accounts, I’ve never seen anyone go “Folder Thumbnail art by (insert name)!” regardless of what the thumbnail was, whether it be a company logo, OC or straight up fanart.

I’m thinking it’s fine, because I’ve had ToyHouse for over six years now and no moderator has ever given me a warning on any of my dozens of folder thumbnails.

Thanks! <3

PS: I’ll delete this post once I’ve got an answer

Character Specific Interactions

G’day all!

I was looking to have a discussion about all Genshin world stuff that is locked behind having a certain character.

Such as:
- If you have Varka you can get a claymore skin near Favonius Keep
- If you have Nefer you can enter her room in the Curatorium
- If you have Jahoda and/or Nefer you get Nod Krai quest lines from Katheryne
- If you have Lauma you can finish Aino’s injured deer anecdote
- If you have Nicole you get wings on her office chair when you sit in it
- If you have any Nod Krai character you can get a customised sugar sculpture lollipop in Nasha Town
- If you have Flins/Illuga you get special dialogue when interacting with Lightkeeper lanterns and ghosts

Stuff like that! Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I’d love to hear of anyone knows any more things like that <3

Let’s chat!

EST Questions

Howdy, I’m on jobseeker and get fortnightly payments. I can’t study and have no job though I am applying rapidly.

They’re going to force me into these ridiculous Employability Skills Training classes which are a complete waste of time but compulsory unless I want my payments cut off. I think if I manage to get a job, I won’t have to do these classes.

Does anyone know if I manage to score at least one eight hour casual shift a week, is that enough to not have to enrol in the classes since I have a job?

Second question, does anyone know what the classes are like? Is it one big presentation where I can just mute my camera and mic and watch - or is it an actual class with homework and activities and such. I’m stressed out of my mind as I have severe anxiety and am incredibly uncomfortable showing my face to strangers online

Unicorn Wars Eng Sub?

Like many other people, I’m looking for Unicorn Wars with English subtitles. I’ve found 4 versions without them but I’d like to know what’s going on.

Bonus hard mode, I’m in Australia so a lot of things will be blocked. But I do have a functioning VPN

Please help, the movie looks amazing!

EDIT: I found it myself y’all! A website called cine.su has it with English subtitles. The search is over, rejoice ✨
