Thora usi mein darr lagne laga , marks aa jate kya ? I am genuinely Scared. I came here through reservation so i might not be as intelligent as my peers ! Is it going to matter .

TODAY WAS OUR FIRST CLASS . And we have 7 classes today out of which only 4 were being taken by profs and the rest were empty classes ( i.e profs didn't arrive) .

One prof taught us Maths ( MA 101), and i was genuinely overwhelmed by his way of teaching, like i didn't understand very well , it was highly paced up and there were some students who understood it all.

I got highly disappointed in myself ( like one could be the reason that i got here through reservation so i am not that intelligent like my batchmates). So i need genuine suggestions on how to compete with my batchmates and score well in exams.

Like, How many hours should i study, how to study, yt lectures, notes, what topics should i know beforehand from previous classes ( not only in maths , every subject would help ) etc anything would help.

I am not a dull student just not paced up like my batchmates.

Also heard mechanical is one of the toughest in iit bhu and profs like to fail students.
