While looking for a Zenza Bronica S2A, I accidentally bought a super rare Bronica Deluxe!

Well, 95% true. I was looking for a Zenza Bronica S2A and I saw this Bronica Deluxe at an antique shop online advertised as an S2A “untested”. I thought it was worth the risk so pulled the trigger at $250, and it works! All shutter speeds work great. The waist level viewfinder latch does not stay closed, the self-timer does not seem to work, and some pealing leatherette. Still looking for an S2A so I might end up moving this one along to a collector, but super cool piece of history!

Are you pre-washing your Arista EDU Ultra 100?

I’ve been using Catlabs 80 and Frankenstein 4x5 film for a couple years and wanted to try an additional affordable option. I just ordered 50 sheets of Arista EDU Ultra 100 but then read some reviews discussing white specs on the film. Some users recommended pre-washing, but I was curious, is this still a problem with this film and do any of you pre-wash it? If so, how are you pre-washing? Thank you!

Replaced the screen on my Automat MX, the results are awesome! Apologies, no before photos.

Joined the club! Automat 3.5 MX

Bought my first Rolleiflex! $125 on Facebook Marketplace. All shutter speeds except 1s and 1/2s work great. I 3D printed a lens cap for now and ordered a bright focusing screen from eBay. Is there anything I should know? I also have a great Ricoh Diacord, so I’m curious to see if there’s any appreciable difference in image quality. Can’t wait!
