Who is the best vet in SCV??
I’ve been to a few, none were like my old one back in my old neighborhood. Who’s your favorite vet? Goodnat what they do, friendly, DONT rush and actually talk to you….

My almost 14 year old cockapoo has a 3” x 2” lump on his lower right ribcage. Vet said it’s kind of movable and described it as semi-soft but that I had to go to my regular vet to get a biopsy (this was the ER). I’m soo soo scared because of it was a lipoma wouldn’t she be able to tell?? 😭😭
I need a blended cpr course for healthcare providers that had an in person portion as well. Are there any around here?
I’ve gotten into the bad habit of using it for everything! Like literally anything that happens I feel like I need to tell ChatGPT to get its feedback…. From small to big things all day everyday 🤦🏻♀️ it really makes you dependent on it
I’ve been stuck at 124lbs for 2 weeks now. I started at 130lbs eating 1200-1300 cal a day then i went down to eating 1000-1200 a day and I haven’t lost a lb in two weeks do I need to do even fewer calories?! Already feel like I’m eating too little….
Maybe this is the plateau? Idk
I’m slowly trying to transition to nontoxic products and clothes and I don’t know if I should buy cleaning products or buy empty containers and make them myself?
I want to go hiking but not anywhere creepy or isolated. Also nothing too difficult. Kinda new to the area so I only know a few and can’t tell much from the trail app. Any recs? Ideally somewhere close to a cute shopping/eating area
Thanks 😊
Is it isolated or is it an ok place for a woman to visit alone? Lol
If you use sleep sacks what brand do you get?
So normally I do small breakfast and dinner and a bigger lunch because that’s the only way I avoid hunger all day. I eat 1200-1300 calories a day.
Today I had a really big lunch so that after lunch I’m already at 950 calories 😭 I had a big bowl of spaghetti now I feel like I messed up
Because I am. Even if I eat a bunch of protein….
I have 3 dogs, one of them is very….active. I don’t mean just energetic I mean he is just difficult both in behavior and health issues. No, I will not rehome him he’s my baby too and when I got dogs I made the commitment for their entire lives regardless.
That being said, I am constantly stressed! If we’re in the same room in the house (usually the living room) he will get toys or snacks from my toddler so I have to be super alert and watching them like a hawk. Problem is he will eat anything…. So I have to make sure he doesn’t eat anything that could hurt him. If I gate him off in a part of the house he will whine and cry until I let him out because I can’t take the barking. He pulls on the leash, he jumps on you if you sit on the couch. And he has non stop skin issues on top of that.
Do you separate your kid from your dogs? Do they always share space? Having my toddler and dog together stresses me out soo much!
The other two dogs are so easy. This one has had professional training, I’ve tried everything he is just always soooo difficult.
I want to take my toddler and have a little beach picnic. What’s the best beach that had easy parking, short walk from parking to the beach and not rocky, but still pretty?
Can’t decide between Hollywood beach, Carpinteria or Ventura beaches
What beach do you go to that’s nice but also close?
Between health insurance for 3 senior dogs, flea meds, cytopoint, apoquel, and frequent vet visits for the one with allergies it adds up to well over $1000/month.
People make me feel bad about it like it’s optional or I choose to throw away money….i do not give my dogs away just because they’re seniors.. people annoy me lol
What toddler classes do you know of in the area?
I know there’s the little gym, music classes, play dates, swimming lessons
Anything else?
I don’t mean daycare I mean fun things like this.
Social media has insane photos of it with crazy rashes on babies faces. Mine so far has a few spots on her foot and one on her hand. I’m so scared for the next few days.
Anyone gone through this?!
I don’t mean the person I mean the lifestyle. My lifestyle was significantly better before, financially I mean. Big house, my full time job, days off where I could just wander around and shop, time to rest etc. I left as soon as I had a baby so that’s another reason my life changed so much but I’m sooo tired of living in survival mode, not having my own house like the one we had (which I don’t ever see happening on one income), my space….
How long was your life hard after leaving? I’m sick of the hyper vigilance, the survival mode the stress
Any recommendations?
My toddlers 2… I feel like I have 8 more year of her “childhood” because once they’re teenagers they have more independence and a life outside the home… and that makes me so sad.
When she was first born it felt like I have decades with her as a child but no… now I realize how fast it goes. Like a few more years and she’s a teenager and I’m done making childhood memories for her?!? 😭
If you have older kids did it pass by fast??
