KatyCats who went to LIFETIMES, how bad was your post-concert depression the next day?
It was my first concert ever. I was in bed all day the next day.

I was sitting in 2nd Period French on August 18, 2025 on the first day of the second week of school (10th grade). I live in Cali so there’s a lot of inclusive signs around the school. I saw a sign that said “Be Yourself!” with the trans flag colors. All of a sudden, something inside me shifted. Before that moment, I thought I was just a gay femboy. Now this realization changed something monumental inside of me. And by the end of that day, knowing that being trans was not a choice, I had to accept it. During that day, there was the urge to watch football highlights (something masculine-coded) to suppress the feeling, but I did not press play because I knew it was important to feel this. And being autistic, I just can’t lie to myself. I came out to my parents 5 days later, on August 22, 2025. Then I came out to most of the world on September 11, 2025 (yes, on 9/11) and came out to most of my relatives on July 5, 2026 and they were widely excepting. So what is your egg cracking story? What is the moment the switch flipped for you? I would love to hear your stories. MWUAH 😘😘😘
So I’ve been out for about a year now and I’m 2 days into 11th grade. I have no friends and previously got betrayed by 2 cis girls. How can I make friends and feel like one of the girls? I don’t really feel that different from the cis girls and I’m taking a Dance class that’s really fun and I’m thinking about trying out for the cheer team in April since I didn’t make it last time I tried out. I live in Cali so I feel pretty safe. I’m not going to talk about any medical stuff here. Any advice on how to live life being trans this year? Thank you for any advice. MWUAH 😘😘😘

So back in April I think I set “Roar” to be set as my alarm ringtone. Bad idea. Now I hate the song. I can never listen to it the same way again 😭
I feel like folklore is a sad album, but still hopeful, like the younger sister of the albums in the spring. evermore by contrast feels more mature, like the older sister of the albums in the winter, and deals with darker and heavier themes. What are your thoughts?
I went through a “femboy” phase for a couple of months before I realized I was actually a trans girl. Anyone else have the same story?
So I’m 16 MtF and I’ve known I was trans for almost a year and I just feel mostly like a cis girl at this point. The thing is that my parents are trying to make me go to an LGBTQ support group twice a month. However, I don’t like trans spaces. I’m just not into that. They just remind me that I’m different. I just want to feel like one of the girls. I’m not into that “skirt go spinny :3” type of stuff. I just want to feel like a normal girl. Those trans spaces were comforting when I was a babytrans, but now they just remind me that I’m different. I don’t want to go to this support group. I just want to be one of the girls. What can I do?
Update: I agreed with my parents to only go once a month, not twice a month.
So I’m 16 MtF and have a crush on another trans girl in my grade, any ideas on how to flirt with her without giving away that I like her?
Both epiphany (track 13 on folklore) and Marjorie (track 13 on evermore) are very sad songs, but I want to know which track 13 you think is sadder and why. epiphany is about the pandemic and Marjorie is about grief. What do you all think?
I tried out for the cheer team for this year back in May and didn’t make it. Before you ask, no I can’t try another sport because I’m transgender (MtF) and don’t want to become a Fox News story (cheer was coed so there was no problem with that). Is there any way I can have a good school year, obvs besides training for tryouts in April 2027? I have no friends and I’m autistic, transgender, and have undiagnosed ADHD. My classes are AP Chemistry, Pre-Calculus, AP African American Studies, English, French, and Dance. I’m planning to join the Photogrophy, Dance, and GSA clubs at school. Any ideas on how to make friends, have fun, and maybe even romanticize the school year? I’m also a Swiftie so I like that aesthetic. Any tips would be greatly appreciated ✨🌸🎀

And we need to accept that. Her window closed after Prism lost in 2015. She just isn’t relevant enough to win one now and will never be nominated again. Many good artists have ended up not winning anything at the GRAMMYs. It’s just one awards show and does not define her worth or her talent.
So I’m taking AP Chem this school year and I heard it’s so hard and I’m scared 😭😭😭 any advice?
16 yo MTF here and I’m also a huge Swiftie (only became one when TLOAS released, never went to the Eras Tour sadly) and I want to dress as Taylor Swift for Halloween. I feel like it would give me so much gender euphoria. I want to dress in her Fearless Era dress from the Eras Tour and wearing red lipstick and a blonde wig. I dressed as Katy Perry last year in her spinning peppermint dress from the Cali Dreams Tour and that worked well. Would this costume be a good idea? Also would there even be any point in having it considering I have basically no friends and would not get invited to Halloween parties and I’m too old to trick or treat? Any advice would be greatly appreciated ✨🌸🎀
