Best thing about working from the mountains is

You get to hangout with some of the coolest people around .

I took my client who is here for WFH to old Manali and we had a great fun at expresso martini cafe on Saturday Night.

I wish the summer never ends

Summers are so nice in the mountains.

You can enjoy the waterfall, and the pools , easily hike the forest . Put on easy.clothes

I know most of the Indian people love snow but it's harder to live during the snow .

After living here for some years I have started loving Summers and the ease it offers .

How to choose a work from mountains location.

Hi people 🙌

WFH is such a bright concept that even the PM of India has a lot of times asked people and organisations to work in WFH format.

But a lot of times I have seen that people try to choose a location which they have heard about or want to go .

WFH is indeed a vication but it's work oriented and work first .You get to choose the environment where you are working.

And to work you need a few things .

  1. Internet: which most of the places provide .

  2. Location: people try to squeeze their requirements into a location which is not viable for WFH . It might support your system for a few days but can't do it for a long time. For eg. A very preety place which hasnust enough mobile network might set up a wifi for few days but it won't work perfectly round the year . A small landslide or a storm or rains might collapse the whole system of that village .

So what should you look for ?

And how many places fit into that criteria?

Look for a place with strong governance, municipality and gram panchayats .

Usually these places are the places where a lot of tourist comes which is a good thing . Such places provide a level of services that a person on WFH needs . Better electricity supply, better mobile networks , good market better services of the hotels providing WFH .

Connectivity: while working on WFH mountains always rember you can get a call to go to office the next day or After 2 days or in any emergency you might need to get home or somewhere else. Always choose a place of good connectivity when you are spending a longer duration of time .

And places offering WFH during the month of May and June are are no good .

If they would have better they would be online doing business in the most hectic months of the year .

They are offering WFH because that is what they can offer at that time no one who is into business of rooms won't block the inventory during the most fruitful months of the year for a month .
