Recently finished speedpainting 175 miniatures in two weeks so I took a breather (ironic) painting this guy for a couple of hours. Gonna see if I can finish the rest of the models to the same standard.
Another batch paint down. I ordered the last of what I want for the army, so one more batch of 12 minis will complete my Death Guard army for now.
Alright, that's 150 models in 10 days painted between my Chaos forces. One more batch and the DG backlog is done for now! Still might want more Deathshrouds and such but I'm slaying the grey like I'm the Doomguy.
Really tearing through my backlog at this rate. 10 Blightlords, two Lords of Contagion and now two tanks. I also completed 15 regular Terminators and 50 Berzerkers in the past week.
Lucked into two of these ladies from bulk buys, finally painted them up! I almost want to get a third just for the flex, but for now, two is enough.
So I've now painted my 80 Berzerkers, and was wondering how people would run them? Is it just in Berzerker Warband with some shooting support from Forgefiends and maybe some buff pieces like 8B aura, or would it be better to play another detachment for the force disposition? Thanks!
In the category "it's been in my pile of grey for long enough". Pretty happy with the results considering it's just over 7 minutes per model. I'm excited to try a Goretide with my other 30 Zerks added on. 🪓
Didn't expect to get anything, there's only 15 hours in this model and a lot of parts aren't very well rendered, but the judges must have liked the part I worked on (face, wings, OSL and Pride flag freehand).
One more paint scheme for the Chaos collection!
Been in a painting funk but having tons of fun speedpainting my backlog. Death Guard are especially fun since you can be so messy.
Quick kitbash+painting project to get back in the saddle. Felt fun to do and it's nice to add more models to the "complete" category.
Hey, I've been playing WH40K since the start of 10th and I'm starting to get really bored of Chaos. Almost every single strong build is the typical "go-turn" where you stage turn 1and then slam as much as possible into the opponent turn 2 or 3 no matter which army you're playing. I don't know if there are builds that enable a more trade heavy and involved playstyle for variety. All the ones I have tried simply felt weak due to the rules not really supporting a hit-and-run, high unit count playstyle. Which armies enable this style of play pattern best? Thanks in advance.
Magnus, Kairos, two LoC and two Defilers. Purge the Foe.
I have to use my Bullgors for something.
Had this on the shelf, did one of my patented "this needs to get done now" spurts. It's a lot of airbrush and drybrush, with the important details highlighted with brush. Painted in about 90 minutes.
