Which section is behind the players bench?
Is it 10 or 11? Thanks

Several swans have appeared in my family's backyard (not in the Orlando area) recently and just curious if anyone knows where they sent them off to
I went to Croatia last month and did 16 days. I stayed in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik with a few day trips to Plitvice National Park, Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and then Kotor, Montenegro.
A few thoughts -
- I found it to be pretty damn expensive. I don't travel on a budget and I wasn't expecting extremely cheap stuff but I was a bit surprised that even with it being a *very* touristy destination, it was pricey. I spoke to an Uber driver who was intrigued but not surprised at my comment about things being more than I expected. And he was like, "Imagine us making about 15,000€ a year!" Food was roughly the same prices as youd find in the US, beers were 7-10€ and lodging wasn't much different than what I'd be paying if I traveled domestically.
- obviously extremely safe and easy to get around, but I underestimated travel time a bit. No real train transport to get around, so rely on busses or ferries (or rent a car if you want) which may be a bit slower if you're used to quicker train travel to get around. Driving times were also a little slow just because of the topography. It was more mountainous than I expected which was a pleasant surprise as obviously it was just a beautiful coast.
- Plitvice was beautiful and totally worth going if you are able to. I saw a lot of discussion of like Krka vs Plitvice and to me there wasn't much of a comparison. Besides the sheer beauty it is just a special place from a purely scientific standpoint.
- I saw a lot of trip reports and itineraries that were implying that you could do a short trip here and I suppose that's true but I am really glad I spent what I'd consider ample time in Hvar and Dubrovnik respectively. I really took time to relax and spend time just walking around and soaking things in. I'm glad I didn't stay in the Dubrovnik old town for several reasons but Lapad area was perfect. In Hvar and Split I'm glad I stayed in the city centers on the other hand as it was very convenient.
I feel like Nike is way more inconsistent than Adidas. With Adidas I can wear an L comfortably and it has a slim but slightly loose fit. Same with Puma. But Nike seems to be all over the map sometimes they fit well and sometimes I feel like they're meant for someone 30kg heavier. Anyone familiar with these supporter tops?
Hey all, my AC recently started losing its cool lol
It blows fine but I noticed only the left passenger (maybe right passenger too but I haven't checked) blows cold air whereas both driver side vents are blowing like room temperature air. Eventually it does cool down, but living in Florida where even with a garage the car is getting hot as hell is just brutal. It's manageable and not terribly pressing since I work from home fortunately but it almost seems like if my car is hot it takes long for the air to get cold, but if I were parked in a garage or at night the AC cools faster. Maybe it's just my body reacting to the heat but that's how it feels. Any advice if I'm wanting to get a new car sometime soon ? Any quick solution like recharging freon worth it? I hope to trade it in within 2 months max but of course it's the hottest months 🤣
... where they'd actually want to be approached*
Edit - I am a man
I always walk by Bar Italia in WPV and it looks like happy hour is packed. Lamp and Shade also seems like a good spot. I just never go with any intention of approaching women because I'm sure 99% of them don't want to be approached but the apps also suck tremendously. Help a brother out.
Maybe this is an overreaction but this heat wave is truly miserable. I haven't really felt an opportunity to let my body cool down in 2 weeks and it's beginning to just eat away at me. I live in Florida, notoriously humid and hot in the summer (with really very little variation) and this is just too much. I had done mid July in western Europe one time and vowed to avoid July and August. An opportunity came up to visit Croatia right now and I figured hey, it's June hopefully the worst is yet to come. If not in the water or showering you never quite cool down. There's no breeze whatsoever which blows my mind being on the coast. I've spent enough time at the beach and in the water to feel relaxed but the moment you're out theres just no respite from the heat.
I'm sure I'll be called spoiled and overreactive but I've traveled a lot and I suppose the older I get the worst it seems. This time went beyond "wow it's so hot" to "I've sweat so much I may actually go see my doctor upon return" level of discomfort.
But not together, of course. Just reminded me of that funny incident when Drummond squared up with WCJ and then Jalen got involved and got ejected. I didn't notice if they greeted each other or anything.
But holy shit Drummond is huge.
I ordered a ticket for an event today (starts in like an hour) and the seller emailed me asking what I used to buy them. I told them StubHub and they replied that they didn't see it then replied shortly after saying they think they did it. I still have yet to receive them and StubHub is no help. They just resend the email from StubHub with "instructions to receive ticket".... But the instructions are simply to wait for an email from Ticketmaster.... Which is not coming.
So even if I get a refund I have to buy a more expensive ticket to attend since this person either transferred incorrectly or doesn't know how to do it. Has anyone else dealt with this ?
This is a senseless rant but I think I'm finally realizing why a lot of these people are on the apps. I work a very conventional schedule and I work from home, so needless to say I'm very flexible with time. However, it seems like everyone I match with has a weird work schedule, has children and it affects their schedule, is obsessed with working out and does nothing in their free time, etc.
It's exhausting. I'm tired, grandpa. Why are there so many women out there who do *nothing*? Like they just expect a man to fall from the sky into their living room on a Friday night while they watch Netflix instead of go to happy hour or dinner with friends.
Hello all! I've been to Rockville but this year I only want to go Friday in the afternoon. I would be arriving around 530-6pm. For anyone that has done this, is there much of an issue regarding parking? Obviously when I've gone it's crowded but everyone is working their way in. Should I assume parking is full and I'll end up being further or do people go during the day and just leave (I can totally see some folks enjoying the daytime acts but not necessarily caring for the evening acts on Friday)
I booked a flight to Croatia for 12 days where I land at 4pm in Dubrovnik and fly out at noon so this gives me 10 full days. I don't really have crazy expectations just booked it on a whim, but my logic here is to immediately go to Split from Dubrovnik on arrival day and work my way back to Dubrovnik.
So far on my tentative list I have
- Split
- Hvar
- Dubrovnik
- Plitvice
- Kotor
- Mostar
I recognize that's a lot and looking to see where I can optimize day trips and also relax or potentially shave time on certain things. I'm pretty well traveled so getting around is not an issue and I'm not a budget traveler so I'm ok in what appears to be pretty overpriced (relatively) places like Old Town Dubrovnik and Hvar. I'm just looking for relaxing beaches, good food and beautiful scenery as I like to photograph. So any recommendations for like overlooks or spots to capture great photography are appreciated. I'm a pretty youthful late 30s so while I'm not trying to party like a 20yr old I'm fine with a little bit of going out and I know Croatia can be big on nightlife so as long as it isn't the equivalent of a college bar I'm ok with nightlife recommendations as well.
Does it make sense to go from Split on down? Looking for any advice. Thanks!
