The Biggest (or smallest) Nitpick

I searched for similar posts but other than a few in the discord I couldn't find anything. So it must only be me and 3 others that are bothered by this out of the 1mil that wishlisted.

First pic clarification - I don't mind the pistols are mirrored to the original, but that the trigger/ guard is on the wrong side of the holster and the pistol is sitting impractically in it.

It's just something that personally bothers me to look at, it looks off center, off balance, just weird and definitely impractical. It's just odd that In the promotional material (pics included); Physical statue, concept art, cover art, edited pictures etc. Even in the Animus Hub! It's sitting correctly in the holster but in-game it isn't. Held off posting because I thought they'd fix it in newer gameplay.

Literally my only nitpick of everything we've seen so had to be pointed out or I'd go insane. Maybe it'll get patched, maybe it won't, ultimately it doesn't matter and won't affect any gameplay, the game looks great, I'm gonna love it regardless!

Been meaning to post it for a while with actual pictures of my own but I've been too busy to find the time to get out my photography stuff. So here is the clip my artist posted. I love the design and how it turned out, entirely freehand and designed on the fly, which I think is a testament to his skill!

Inspiration:

TL;DR at the bottom.

Based on the collage of hand prints in Cueva De Las Manos, Argentina. 8,000 years of generations in one place based on oldest and youngest hand print dates, 7,300BC - 700AD.

Cueva De Las Manos Collage

Combined with a single handprint from Maltravieso cave in Spain, (formerly) known as the oldest cave hand print in the world. Based on dating off the layers of the cave/ print, it's estimated to be around 66,000 years old, mid-Palaeolithic period. Pre-dating the arrival of Homosapiens in Europe by 20,000 years. As well as tools found in the same chamber, evidence shows this print was creating by Neanderthals.

TL;DR

An Ocean Apart,

60,000 years apart,

An entire Species apart,

2 identical paintings,

They both came up with the same first and simple piece of art, a way to leave their mark and say they were here. I don't think there's anything simpler that could be a symbol for the human race. Which is why I decided to get it.

TIL Signs Accept Emojis

Quick PSA to anyone who didn't know as I just recently found out. Signs accept emojis so you can use real signs to create images like the ones above.

Hopefully they add more decorative signs in future, but for now I think this works!

(Also no idea if I used the signs correctly)
