Regretting moving from my home town - when is it homesickness vs unhappiness?

Moving to the London was always a dream of mine growing up, I went there for university, but I was so severely depressed that I didn’t enjoy it.

6 years later, I’m a lot happier and love my life. I have stopped taking my family and home town for granted. Now I’m no longer unhappy, and being older (maybe wiser), I realise I’m incredibly family orientated, and my once hated hometown I now love. I want to grow old and start a family back home with the people I love.

However, I’ve always felt I had unfinished business in London, so while I’m in my 20’s I decided to give it once last shot. So, when a job came up I applied and got it. Now I’m here and away from my family I’m regretting the move. I miss everything about home, my family, friends, the countryside, the living situation (I grew up and have always lived in large homes with gardens), so its a massive culture shock to be now sharing a flat with a bedroom as solely mine.

I just don’t know how long I should give it before I admit I’m truly done with London? When is it home sickness or just unhappiness?

Where does the band get their clothes from?

I’m a huge fan, and have always loved rock and roll style too. I’ve always loved what the band wears, in particular Josh. Has there ever been brands/costume designers/stylists mentioned? After watching SYS for the millionth time today, my obsession with their music and style has reached new levels, and I just wanna know where they’re getting all these AMAZING clothes from.

Thanks for your help guys

Bag suggestions for a ‘rocker’ style

Hey! I always buy a bag when something big happens to me as a way of remembering that event. I have just scored my dream job, and I’m looking for a new bag, but I’m struggling to find anything I think is cool.

In my current rotation are the:

  1. Burberry prorsum aw 2007 studded bag
  2. Chanel aw 2011 enchained, XL bag
  3. Burberry prorsum aw 2015 shearling leopard tote
  4. Balenciaga city backpack

I like anything that you would see on a emo teen 😂 or bohemian rocker.

Bleaching Level 2 permed hair, will it be a disaster?

I have shoulder-length, level 2 (natural but dyed, as I'm going grey) hair that has been acid-permed once a year (using Olaplex) for 3 years. I have since done multiple Olaplex 1-2 treatments, and used 0 and 3 as maintenance. I want to do a very subtle balayage, with the very ends at level 5/6.

I only use a diffuser twice a week, so the heat usage is minimal.

I think the only thing to do is to test it out and see, but I was wondering your thoughts on it? I would rather remain the colour I am if the alternative was fried lighter hair.

Do I have a right to be upset that my M33 boyfriend M34 only wants to see me when he has nothing better to do.

I have been dating this guy for 5 months. He’s great, BUT…

We’re long distance, so we only see each other weekends, until he gets a job close by.

I have met his friends a lot of times and we get along just fine. When I’m out with my boyfriend I don’t cling to him, I’m happy to be with his friends while he’s off talking to his other friends. When I’ve met them it has always been last minute, because they’ve invited him out and he was already spending time with me.

This month, he could only see me one weekend, because he was busy going on days out (spas//weekend away), or going to parties with his friends. All things I enjoy doing. I feel really hurt by this. To me, he should have invited me to at least one of them, I just feel like theres him and his social life, that I’m not allowed to be part of, and he just wants me when he’s bored and got no other plans.

Am I being ridiculous?
