New build. Question about the RGB. Is there a default color theme or are they dark?

V100 Case. The first power up of the build and I saw lights on all the Lian Li's fans, but then they turned off and have never come back on. Do they have a default theme or do I download software to run them? They're currently just dark. Fans work fine.

Bought the wrong bundle and feeling stupid.

I looked at some information wrong online when looking at AMD processors and I ended up buying the 7800X3D with the X870 motherboard and RAM for $729. The 9850X3D and B850 motherboard and RAM for $799 is miles better - no?

I caught my error part way thru the assembly and I'm almost 2hrs from my Microcenter. So I told myself it's all good. But I can't let it go now.

Is the 9850X3D worth taking it all apart?

Edit: GPU is RX 9070 XT

Battery Replacement for my Shaver Question

OK to remove the board from the new battery?

Some more context:
The battery in my shaver died. I bought new ones from Jeff Bezos [he delivered them himself].

The new battery doesn’t fit in the body of the shaver due to the, what I assume is part of the charging manager, PCB. Think it’s cool to remove it, as the shaver manages the charging? I have solder it onto the shaver already and charged it with the shaver’s charger. It charged to 4.2v and held there so that’s good.

The old battery is on the bottom right of the photo. The left battery is the 2nd battery in the 2-pack just bought, just for reference

Conveyor style parts washer and dryer brands

If you work around industrial parts washer equipment, I’d like to hear the brand names please.

EDIT: We’ll be washing cut steel tubes, no bigger than 20mm OD, nor longer than about 3ft. This is before brazing.

I’m tasked to buy one for our Mexico plant, and who better than the guys that wrench on them to say which ones hold up to a half a shit.

As a controls engineer or technician, are you into tech?

As in, you like other forms of coding, or the new age term of IoT. How about cloud computing, or networking??

(Don’t need to read below to answer the question)

As someone who’s does a fair bit with automation, people think I’m into information technology and such, but I am not. I don’t care about AI in the next developer studio, or different communication protocols.

I’m way more into physics. I like seeing the machines come to life. I love the electrical engineering of the projects. I always wanted a career in the PCB area but with what little opportunities I had in it, the job itself wasn’t appealing (way too repetitive at the company I get the offer from).

I’m not into the evolution of computers and pushing the boundaries (what boundaries, I have no idea, it’s all the same thing).

I think that’s what I love about electronics. It’s pretty much impossible to change. It can be learned and mastered, and that’s appealing to me.

Do some device manufactures hide IC part numbers?

My shaver died. I want to replace the battery. It has a 14500 3.7v and was easy to find on the Amazon dot com. But I wanted to look up the main chip here and it had a thin paste on the top of it. I pushed it off with my nail and everything came off. Was this intentional of the shaver manufacture, to hide the part number of the chip?

3rd Party Website for skill management?

One of the coolest things about Eve is community's contribution to the players and game, in these 3rd party websites. And I thank all of you that are involved.

But is there one for skills? [I'm getting this idea from doing more PVP] I'm spending too much time looking at fits over and over, to then forget what I have skills for, and have to look and read everything again a week later.

I have changed my skill plans so many times you'd think my wife was making the decisions [turns out, I'm just as bad as she is]. I thought about making a spreadsheet with all of my skills trained so I can quickly view them, and maybe get quicker ideas as to what ship, with what artillery I can fly. I spend a lot of time going in, seeing what I'm missing, so then I won't have the skills, to then forget.

Hard-ish skin with some pain under side of fingernail - what is it?

I get them all the time and I dig it out. Just am curious as to what is happening. I don’t think it’s ingrown nail because after I dig the side out a little bit as shown in the photo, that little hanging part of the skin is what is painful. Sometimes it’s really painful and just feels like hard dense skin.

New Eden Store vs Website Store

It is just me or is the in-game store more expensive buying in plex than to buy with card on the website?

I have been buying the 12 day training accelerators, and they're $5 on the website, but like $8 worth of plex?

Planning a trip is becoming a little overwhelming, and I reallllly want to visit this park. Need a little help.

Some quick notes about what we're thinking. Mid September to go. We'd like to do a couple bus tours for convenience. Cost is a bit of a factor, so Jackson WY seems like an unlikely place to stay, but most of the bus tours I'm seeing leave from Jackson. Cody seems more reasonably priced for hotels, but I can't seem to find more than like one tour pick/drop off at Cody.

I'm thinking of renting a car and driving in and out each day from Cody, or finding a hotel inside the park for one night.

Questions: Is mid September a good time to go to be able to drive your own car around? Are most places still open during that time? Is the trip back and forth from Cody too much for each day?
