Pivot to only tech ETFs?

Hi everyone,

I recently started investing in ETFs and until now I have following ETFs, each accounting for 1/3rd of my portfolio:

IE00BFY0GT14 SPDR MSCI World

IE00BYTRRD19 SPDR MSCI World Technology

IE00B53L3W79 iShares Core EURO STOXX 50

The world is underperforming but the tech ETFs have risen strong enough over 6 months. My question is: does it make sense to keep the world? Should I pivot to only the tech stocks?

Miyota price hikes for 9015, pivot to 8315?

Hi all,

Designing my first watch, contrary to others who turn this sub into AI hell I want to share the design only when I have an actual prototype.

Nearing finalisation for the dial, and I always envisaged a Miyota 9015. Price hikes raised it from 94 to 135 per piece at my supplier. I want to make no money off of this watch, but I feel bad about charging the extra 40 euros to the customer, pushing the watch into a price segment I cannot justify as a first venture into microbrand space.

Would you advise going with 8215 or 8315 instead? I could source them at around 60 per piece. My only gripe with this movement is the thickness, which is why I selected the 9015 initially. It's a dress watch, so bulkiness is to be avoided.

The main question is now: should I reduce overall cost and accept the bulkiness or should I stick to my guns but charge more for the 9015?

I love Italy/Italians, but y'all can't drive for shit.

Alright, bring it on.

Just landed in Rome and drove to Naples. Below some of the rules as I have observed them.

  1. I thought only England had specific cars made for them, but Italians have cars with the indicators absent! Very cool.

  2. In the off chance that someone indicates they are swapping a lane, it is customary to drive the next 5km with the indicator on.

  3. Overtaking on the right is recommended.

  4. In the speed lane but need your exit? Make sure to not indicate and randomly cut across all lanes at 70kph. Great succes.

  5. In the event you drive a Vespa, do not wear any protection besides a helmet. Meat crayon is the name of the game.

  6. If your car has less than 100 dents, you have not driven your car.

  7. You can drive through traffic with a car as you would with a motorcycle.

  8. Someone waiting for oncoming traffic to turn left? Be sure to start honking and overtake left or right as needed.

  9. On the topic of honking, this is more important than the steering wheel.

And 10. What is lacking in the driving department, you make up for in the food and friendliness department. I am however convinced you get your driver's license for free when buying bread.

Would anyone be willing to help me manufacture a watch case?

Basically title, I'm creating a watch and have already closed in on everything but the case. I suspect to have it ready by end of August/beginning of September.

I am willing to pay of course, but I am looking for someone with a bit of heart who also just wants to help out. I know one piece CNC milling is expensive due to the programming, but man I am like 100% sure I will fuck up my measurements somewhere so I can't accept the quotes I got offered cos I for sure will have to pay it two, three times over. I will of course first print in SLA to check overall dimensions, but crystal fitting and caseback screw is not possible on SLA. Hence the question, cos I got quoted insane amounts.

Based in Europe.
