Has anyone been able to reach the mod bc there is some really cross homophobic stuff happening here

EDIT: sorry I meant gross

So on top of the straight men harassing us there is also some really disgusting and hateful homophobia happening. If anyone has reached the mod please let me know because this group used to be so nice and now it’s just full of hate,

These men on here literally hate us and are getting off on making us feel uncomfortable and jacking off to our vulnerable stories.

I know this user is probably an incel misogynist but I don’t feel comfortable if men are potentially masturbating about vulnerable things, I or of us, may say. Men are literally sick, demented, twisted people. They are probably jacking off to the thought of a woman being uncomfortable. I would be happy to volunteer to co-moderate a group that’s safe. Where men aren’t taking out their microdicks to jack off to what we’re saying or laugh at us.

Feeld has the worst looking people of any dating app

I downloaded feeld and paid to see my likes for one month and have also swiped through. I’ve had it for about week and I’ve seen like one attractive guy. I see many on bumble and hinge. Why is that?

I think a lot of men are looking for friends

For the record I am a straight woman so I am mostly seeing men’s profiles so this is why I came to this conclusion.***

I see a lot of men’s profiles and they seemingly are looking for a friend. They list a bunch of activities that men predominately do together. For example I see so many male profiles seeking someone to do hyrox competitions with. I’m not saying do fitness competitions but I have never know a single woman who has. Or they talk a lot about drinking beers and watching their favorite sporting team or traveling to whatever their city their team is from and seeing a live game. Again, not something women will never do but those mostly seem like more male driven activities.

On the flip side whenever I get curious and look through my male friends apps the women generally list more “couple activities” as things they would like to do with a partner like trivia, rooftop dining, taking classes, or visiting museums. I wonder if there are a good chunk of men out there who may actually be looking for a friend as opposed to a partner?

Anyone have advice on how to get an entry level marketing or PR job?

I’m in my mid-late 30s and in the process of changing careers. I’m an esthetician and had a successful business for almost ten years but in this economy people are not spending money on luxury services like they used to. I went back to school for marketing and got an associates degree. I also have a degree from FIDM. I apply to entry level jobs that barely pay anything and don’t require experience and I never hear back. It’s discouraging AF. Does anyone have any advice on how to break into either industry?

Do men on these apps actually like women?

Every time anyone posts anything on this thread a group of angry guys are foaming at the mouth to talk about how god awful women are and how they cannot stand anything about them. Do most men on dating apps just hate women? Or is it just online dating subreddits?

They need an adults only server

I understand a lot of young kids play but for the love of god, give us an adult server. I’m so tired of spending time doing a cool accurate look for no one to get it bc a lot of the references pre 2022 go over their heads lol. I also cannot deal with the leg warmers, tripper heels, booty shorts, and bras winning every challenge despite the theme. Or most players not following the theme bc they don’t know what 80% of them are.

I also think it would benefit them to have themes more geared toward children and playing with players that are under 18.

Why do half the restaurants not have uber one benefits for delivery?

This app has gotten so ridiculous. It used to be beneficial to have uber one because I would get a lot of coupons and I didn’t pay for delivery. I live in the middle of a major city and a restaurant less than a mile away is still making me pay a delivery fee. I don’t get why uber one benefits don’t apply to a majority of restaurants that are very close. I rarely ever get coupons now and I still have to pay exorbitant delivery fees anytime I order delivery.

Why are people so bothered by how other people date?

Some people prefer coffee dates and that’s fine. Some people prefer dinner dates. And that’s also fine. As I like to say, there’s a lid for every pot. But everyone dates differently, prioritizes dates differently, lives in different areas, and are in different financial brackets. If another man in a different city prefers to take women out to dinner as opposed to coffee why would it be so bothersome when it doesn’t affect you?

Why does everyone expect Reddit to know why they were ghosted?

Here’s a general rule of thumb. If someone wanted to meet you, go on a second date with you, chat with you, continue seeing you, text you, etc they would. It’s really that simple. If they aren’t responding to you don’t reach out to them. If they blocked you on a dating app they don’t want to talk to you. If they ghosted they don’t want to talk to you. None of us are in the mind of your potential date or the person you were dating. We cannot tell you why they may have hypothetically disappeared. I don’t get why everyone asks strangers on Reddit what is going with someone they’re seeing. None of us have any idea. Just move on.
