Mostera adonsonii mint help pls 🙏

Seems like the more variegation it gets, the less leaf it has 🥲 pic 2 seems like pests to me? Its been in the same spot and conditions since i received (somewhere around pic 4 lol) just wondering whats going on or if this is normal 😅

Lost a gorgeous leaf during a repot, couldn't bear to toss it just yet 🥰

I think I found the most perfect flowers to compliment the leaf (well 2 dif boquets). The lilies are just starting to open. At least I get to enjoy the leaf for a bit longer this way 😇

Honestly annoyed I even have to make this post.... pls read the caption 🙏

Im so dissapointed by this subreddit. The fact that half of the comments were deleted by moderators yesterday should really put things into perspective for yall. Not everyone has the same goals, not everyone has the same anatomy. You dont even know me. Im a recovered heroin addict, been clean 5 years, got into lifting coming off methadone cause the endorphins helped tremendously. I lift for fun, for therapy, as a new "healthy addiction". I was insanely proud of my lift yesterday, just to come on here and be told it was worthless because it was on a smith. Im pissed that I felt the need to use all free weights lifting today to try and prove shit to people ive never even met. No i cant go as heavy with free weights, and thats ok! The smith gives me stability so that i can go heavier. To assume i have no stabilization is just crazy. Yes my pistol squats suck ass, lets see yours. I guess im just trying to say, do fucking better. Be fucking nicer. Im studying psychology to be a therapist and some of yall just truly baffled me yesterday. And no i dont have a bruised ego as some of yall tried to suggest, i just want u to realize people can train HOWEVER they want and HOWEVER they are comfortable. Thats all 🫶

Trying to get back into heavy squats 🫠

Used be able to go way heavier. Been utilizing the belt squat too often 🥲 Taking it back to barbell (well smith today, hubby wasn't there to spot) but still happy with the lift!

Switched to barbell, put a plate down to stare at... necks still floppin like a fish 😤😂

I give up 🥲

Just want to make sure form is ok before upping weight. Had a back injury like 4 years ago so hip hinging is a bit scary for me 🥲 i also noticed my neck could def be more stable 🫠

No more guessing games, EVERYONE got the sulphur this morn 😤

Only a few seem to be struggling but they all stay in such close proximity to each other, rather be safe than sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️

Does anyone know how long the sulphur has to sit to work? I know you need repeated treatments. For my 5 outdoor hoyas i sprayed with sulphur around 5:30am and let them sit for 2 hours before rinsing off since its FL and they get direct morn sun and todays high will feel like 104° 🫠 plus its the indoor ones that seem to be struggling more

What is going on here?

New growth points? Flowers? This plant has genuinely NEVER been chopped or propped so im just confused cause it does look like new growth points to me?!?!?

u/Teanna420 — 1 month ago

I stand corrected 🤭

Just wanted to update with some pictures! The leaves are coming out muchhh more variegated. Chop your low variegation babies! I did move them outside eastern facing so im guessing the increased light is helping as well. Think ill keep one on the porch and bring one back inside under a grow lamp to see how it goes 🥰

Puchased one month ago, and we've already got a baby pedunc 🥹

Hoya Chouke threw a peduncle faster than any hoya ive ever owned. Bought at HD about a month ago. Eastern facing morning direct with granule orchid fertilizer 🫶

Just bought these 3 literally omr month ago at home depot, Chouke already blessed me with a peduncle 😍

Can not recommend direct morning light (this is east facing) and granule orchid fertilizer enough 😉

White Knight leaves getting big and luscious!

Not usually a fan of this type of philo but with 4 on the pole its looks so full and leaves are upsizing nicely 👌

Edit: def a white wizard, not knight. Oops.

u/Teanna420 — 2 months ago

I dont think its goin so good guys 😔

Chopped up my healthy albo a month or 2 ago in hopes of more variegation. Even moved them outside to get some morning direct sun. Maybe too soon to tell, but im not seeing alot of white ☹️

Loooong time fan. Over 20 yrs and im only 35yo f lmao. Never had the chance to see them live. Here for a family trip and saw theyre playing here tonight. I could cry. Immediately bought a ticket, but will be going solo. Just wondering if anyone else is coming and maybe we could meet up?!?!! Not in a creepy way. Im engaged but my fiance is notttt into "emo" music. Not worried cause my hotel room is literally at the venue. But i would love to share this experience with like minded fans 😇 IM SO EXCITED!

What do u think i could sell this for??

I just dont have room for it anymore and i have babies off it. It has 8 leaves at the moment all at least a foot long. But i have seen baby gloriosums in stores these days, never anywhere close to this mature. Think im gonna list it on FB marketplace but have no clue what to charge?
