I have three Ledger Nano X devices. I needed to use a second one because I started investing in a second asset, so I entered the seed phrase from an older wallet into one of my spare Ledger Nano X devices. I had wiped it after I stopped using it.

It successfully recovered the wallet that it was previously associated with, and all assets that were there before are now showing. It’s nice to know that it works.

I'm currently in a course on asset tokenization, and the module I just completed was on the regulatory landscape. The instructor mentioned three jurisdictions that are favorable for asset tokenization: Singapore, Malta, and the UAE.

I'm in the US. What will it take for the US to be included in this list?

I’m halfway through a course on real-world asset tokenization through Udemy, and this line is from the last lesson I completed:

In another course I took, they mentioned RealT, and when I went to investigate the website to see how easy it was to buy a portion of real estate through digital tokens, it said that access was restricted in my area. I’m in the United States. I’ve also tried to buy tokenized stock in the past but couldn't because, again, I’m in the US.

Why is it easier to buy US-based tokenized assets and stocks if you’re in a country other than the US? Is it government red tape, or maybe influence from the industries affected by blockchain automation?

I was already looking for an alternative to the iOS Ledger Wallet app; now, with the newest update, it's even worse.

What is everyone using on their iPhones instead of Ledger Wallet?

I have BlueWallet on my iPhone and was able to rename the two wallets I have in it after importing the seed phrases. I installed it on my MacBook, and after importing the same two wallets, I see no option to rename them, as I could on my iPhone.

Is the ability to edit wallet names not available on the MacOS version?

I haven't been dissatisfiedisfied with my Lesger Nano X, but I'm considering switching to another signer.

Since my assets are on the blockchain, and the Nano X holds the seed phrase, if I enter the seed phrase in a competing product during setup, I should see my assets, correct?

I have a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium with 96,000 miles. Last weekend, my wife and I went out of town for a distillery tour and tasting. On the way home, I pushed the accelerator to go up a hill, and the car violently shifted into gear. I mean, it slammed into gear. Hard.

At the next service (100,000 miles), I planned to have the transmission flushed and filled with new fluid, but after reading about transmission problems with this model, I'm wondering if I'm screwed already.

Thoughts?

I just recently purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max from Back Market. It arrived today. I know I can transfer all my settings, apps, and everything from my existing phone to the new one using Apple’s built-in process, but will my eSIM transfer as well? Will my number port over to the new phone?

UPDATE: The process went very smoothly. The eSIM transferred over without a hitch.

My 2014 Escape Titanium will soon be due for the 100,000-mile service. I've seen many posts here about transmission failures, and I've researched the issue across multiple sources, so I'm going to add a transmission fluid flush and fill to the punch list. I'm also considering this kit to hopefully mitigate any future issues with the transmission.
