She took away my computer, despite having two months left till I turn 19. I tried to fight to get it back by telling her "I'm an adult and it's my property."
She refused and said that as long as I'm in her house, her punishments apply. We may move out in a year, but I genuinely think it will be significantly longer.
She paid for the laptop when I was 16 though.
So our AC (Control 4 unit) has been not working for over a year when it started to consistently not go to the right temperature no matter the time of day in the dead of a SoCal winter and dead of a SoCal summer. This issue started last July, and yet we still have zero AC. We have other AC units and they are working. They think that paying $10,000+ to replace is expensive.
They also purchased a warranty in February, months after the ac broke and they were planning to intentionally let the warranty run for two months then fix the ac, but they haven't fixed it nearly four months after they planned to.
This is apparently a 2019 model of the 2014-2018 gen silverado. I didn't really know this even existed!
It's plugged into a 400W car power outlet. It is only using less than 350 watts max when charging at anytime. Why?
Here is a message to parents with kids watching preschool shows using cable tv:
When watching on regular cable tv, even on the preschool shows the nickelodeon channel commercials can end up playing ads that are NOT suitable for kids because cable companies have the right to overwrite any ad that looks a little different than normal on the national feed as part of an agreement to have nick as a channel. When watching on nick jr, they don't ever play these ads. Both channels were observed after thousands of ads with Frontier as the cable provider in California and only when watching Nickelodeon the ad feed got cut to play these ads listed. These ads listed are playing at 7:30, 8:30, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30 when nick is actively playing its nick jr block.
What unsuitable commercials have you seen on nickelodeon during preschool shows? I'm not talking about nostalgic nickelodeon ads but actual cable tv ads that seemed way out of place that flooded a TV-Y show on nick.
We still have Frontier for our cable tv provider in 2026, and there is a crazy array of channels. I'm talking more than 1,000 channel numbers. I still have a QIP7100 2 box in my bedroom that was in the guest room because guide data took a week or more to load on my QIP7100 2. These guide data issues persisted for over a year before replacing the box.
Every single day, my parents watch on cable with a QIP7232 2 cable box in our living room. I'm wondering when these boxes will stop working since I heard that the QIP boxes will stop working before the end of 2027.

This dude was taking at least two spaces in the parking lot today. I think this guy has been parking at this parking lot for years now, and possibly making his car repairs in this exact lot.
I remember this was a great breakfast in 2018 or so, and I have never really eaten oatmeal except for this.
I splurged to get some pop tarts from the vending machine at my school instead of eating a breakfast at home. I'd say I would do it again.
