I'm grateful for my mistakes
I'm grateful that I experienced depression and got addicted to drugs. I'm sober now, and the experience taught me how to avoid intoxicants, and how to take care of myself better. Now I work at a psych hospital, and I can empathize deeply with the patients because I used to be in their position.
Im glad I have work today
Im grateful that I'm able to make money today, and Im glad my bills arent so high that I get to keep most of what I make :)
Something I drew
Made this with normal pencils I guess - total beginner here. Got any tips? Feel free to share them! Bonus: say you had no skills again, how would you practice to get better rapidly?
What creative hobby would you start with?
I'm trying to get an early win without a large investment. I'm mostly talking about painting, drawing, and other forms of art. Which form would you start with, and what would you recommend focusing on in the beginning?
Me practicing - I am a beginner
Any tips for maximizing my practice?
Looking for an accountability buddy
I want to meet someone who I can text back and forth about our successes and failures. I find that keeping my mind on it keeps me from relapsing.

21M Eastside
My name is Taylor. I enjoy energetic activities the most - I have a strong focus on keeping myself healthy and strong (mentally and physically). My recent hobbies have included juggling, ukulele, crochet, gymnastics, and rock climbing. I go to Chuze on Grant most mornings, as I can carpool with my Mom. No car as of right now, but I have one lined up after July. I want to meet someone who can regularly interact in person.
Where do I go, and what do I do?
I'm 21M and I live at home with my mom and older brother. My parents divorced a few years ago, and the house is being sold soon. I make decent money at the job I'm working, but I don't feel super compelled to keep things the way they are. I think I've decided to become a wildland fire fighter this summer to switch things up, and after that I'm probably moving to Wisconsin to be with my son.
The biggest issue for me is that I keep bouncing between ideas of how I want my future to go, and I never truly arrive at a conclusion until I'm forced to make a decision. How do you arrive at a decision with conviction and remain true to your intentions? How do you weigh the decision beforehand?
Quitting vs persisting, what to pursue in life (money, another person, mastery over a craft, wisdom, knowledge), + how do you determine what change would make the most significant positive difference?
