First 4 hrs with the wolverine V3 Pro

Been using the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro for about 4 hours now and honestly I'm really impressed so far. First thing I noticed was how clicky everything feels. None of the buttons feel mushy at all, every press feels super responsive and satisfying. The mouse-click style buttons are actually way nicer than I expected and make regular Xbox controllers feel kinda soft now lol

The controller itself feels really solid and premium in the hands. Definitely feels like an expensive controller when you pick it up. I upgraded from an 8BitDo controller and this feels like a pretty huge step up overall. The 4 back paddles rest perfectly for my hands too and don't feel awkward to press like some pro controllers do.

The Razer Synapse app surprised me too. Super easy to use and really customizable. Being able to remap buttons, tweak sensitivity, deadzones, trigger stops etc was actually pretty fun to mess with. I also like that you can save profiles directly to the controller.

One thing I noticed is it does feel slightly bigger in the hand than a normal Xbox controller but honestly after a little while I started liking that more. The textured grips are nice too and will help a lot during longer gaming sessions.

I got mine on sale at Best Buy for $189 and so far I definitely don't regret it. The Hall effect sticks were one of the reasons I bought it too since stick drift drives me insane. Battery life seems decent so far from what I can tell and the wireless connection has been flawless on PC.

Overall first impressions are really good. Feels fast, responsive, premium, and just fun to use. Probably one of the best feeling controllers I've used in a long time.

Pros:

  1. Premium feel and build quality. Doesn’t feel cheap at all and has that “high-end” controller feel the second you pick it up.

  2. Hall effect sticks are a huge plus. Main reason I bought it honestly because stick drift is so annoying. The sticks feel smooth and accurate too.

  3. Hall effect triggers are awesome. Super responsive and feel great for shooters and racing games. Trigger stops are nice too.

  4. Buttons are insanely clicky and responsive. Almost mouse-click feeling. Makes normal Xbox controllers feel mushy afterwards.

  5. Back paddles are actually placed really well. Didn’t take long to get used to and they rest naturally where my fingers sit.

  6. Razer Synapse app is really good. Tons of customization options, remapping, deadzones, sensitivity settings, profiles, RGB stuff, all that.

  7. Wireless connection has been flawless so far and latency feels really low on PC.

  8. Grips will feel nice during longer gaming sessions and the controller feels sturdy overall.

Cons:

  1. No swappable D-pad which kinda surprised me for a controller at this price point.

  2. Slightly larger build than a standard Xbox controller. Feels good to me but if you have smaller hands you might notice it more.

  3. Not really 100% plug and play. You do kinda need to tweak settings and mess with Synapse to get everything exactly how you want it.

  4. There’s a small learning curve at first especially with profiles, sensitivity settings, remapping and the extra buttons. Not terrible though once you figure it out.

  5. Price is pretty steep if you don’t catch it on sale. I got lucky and grabbed mine for $189 at Best Buy.

Which is still only $10 off.

But every dollar saved counts in 2026 LOL

Ultimate 2.4G, Not even 6 months old

Just got this controller back and December. Not even 6 months old and the right trigger is already messed up. I noticed this whenever I couldn't fire my guns in Arc Raiders. I'm pretty bummed out because I love their controllers. I have the 8BitDo 64 and SN30 without any issues so far thankfully. I do feel concerned now though, anyone else had this issue?

Found in my mom's basement

Found this when I was helping my mom clean up her basement. Anyone know what it is?

This is the best chocolate peanut butter ice cream I've ever had

This ice cream is some of the softest most delicious ice cream I've had. It's packed full of thick peanut butter swirls. 9/10, would definitely recommend.
