Tried to balance the number of characters in a role, the amount of heroes/villains, and tried to add in teams.
Leaked characters are in order of release. Rivals season 1 had the Fantastic 4 so I went with the suicide squad (King shark, Deathstroke, boomerang and Enchantress). Everything else is a duo season (Black Canary and Green Arrow as an example).

I love how the twist grounds Superman. It was never the message and it was never his destiny to be Superman. Clark is just a guy who chose to be Superman because that's just who he is - not what his parents wanted him to be.

**For context:** Yumi might have to move back to Japan because her father lost his job. Ulrich gets winning lottery ticket numbers and makes a return to the past. Ulrich gives the winning ticket to Yumi's parents but tells them NOT to tell Yumi (They of course not only tell Yumi but tell her that Ulrich said not to tell her).
**Why I hate this scene:** They act as if Ulrich did something HORRIBLE. How DARE he try to help his best friend/crush stay... Meanwhile Jeremy risks the entire WORLD for the same reason. Its okay when Jeremy puts everyone at risk of death every day for Aelita but when Ulrich tries to help Yumi... They kick him out?

Honestly they played it kinda safe?
It's amazing how it went from this romantic moment to being absolutely HILARIOUS
* Ulrich X Yumi: these two have been "will they, won't they" for the entire show and for the new season I want to see them become offical. I want to see how they interact as a couple and overcome obstacles as they try to balance their life with Lyoko back in the picture. (Of course the same with Jeremy and Aelita, I just personally have more of an investment with these two)
* Aelita's role: I'm not sure what the plot is going to be, but I just hope they make Aelita less of a damsel. I understand that they HAD to protect Aelita, so her going into combat wasn't ideal. However it was still frustrating to see her be helpless when she is capable of defending herself.
* William's redemption: I felt this character kinda got robbed and I understand that they needed an Evil Lyoko warrior but I wish he came to help them in the end.
* Jeremy's role: maybe this is just me but I would really like to see Jeremy do more. If they don't want to make him a Lyoko warrior fine, but it genuinely feels like all he does is scan them in for the most part. I want to see his impact in some way and they have definitely tried in a few episodes but he still doesn't feel as impactful as he should. (Don't get me wrong I love Jeremy, and its because I love him that I want to see them give him more respect)
* Odd: I got nothing, he's God's perfect creation.
They really do push the limit of this being a "kids" show. With the new season coming I hope to see them do more crazy stuff. What are the darkest episodes for you?
Ulrich got 2 sabers and Aelita got wings that she never uses. What about Yumi and Odd lol?
I know what some of you may be thinking but hear me out. As a console player (maybe this applies to pc too), there are just some days where I want to get on and play a few matches as Spider-Man and I can't do that casually. Every match I feel as though I have to essentially break the character to get half the value that say the average Cyclops gets for breathing down main. I genuinely feel as though Spider-Man is playing a different game compared to the rest of the roster and kinda feels outdated.
All these characters just have OS for existing or at least some form of sustain, some have escape options and/or a CC ability and most importantly - they all deal significant enough damage. Even Spidey at peak performance can't compete.
Spidey doesn't really do any of that so here are some suggestions:
* Spider sense: Spidey now immediately gets tenacity or something to that effect when hit with any strong CC once every 25 seconds. (Black cat had something in her shop that allows her to escape CC iirc and thats where the idea comes from)
* Downslam: this is now it's own button and is slightly faster.
* Amazing combo: Now grants 25 overshield on hit. When this attack lands on an enemy who has a tracer they become slowed
* Spider Power (Primary): The punches now have the same range as the kick
* Get over here: The stun lasts longer after the initial pull (Similar to when you pull Thing or Dino) OR you now have a second charge
* Clusters: Now travel slightly faster and can stack tracer debuffs (like Johnny team up) OR unlimited clusters
* web swing: you now spawn with only 1 charge
* get over here pulls: now have a limit.
I know people will be upset about the pull change but that's all the character realistically does and I would rather longer stun and second charge over the cheesy pull. Players have gotten to a point where they can do it consistently and nobody enjoys getting killed over an admittedly broken gimmick.
I'm just tired of nobody understanding how hard this character is. Cyclops gets to ricochet crazy damage from a distance. Luna gets to freeze me, go eat dinner, line up her shots then 2 tap me. (Luna freeze also gives her self healing on whiff and OS if she lands it btw). Those are just two of many examples.
Edit: I would also love to hear you guy's opinions on what changes he needs.
Basically undivable, crazy damage, and even more obnoxious if she has whitefox. Luna does not need two forms of hard CC, her damage, piercing ability, healing abilities, self flake and self healing along with being 275.
I hate playing singles, it feels like there's no time to adapt and they're usually one sided because of it. It does not feel like this game was made with singles in mind and you can tell this is true since even in the story the game gives you SO MUCH HEALTH normally.
* Peter: I know I'm not the only one who was a bit underwhelmed by the symbiote gameplay ESPECIALLY anti-venom. Peter getting Anti-Venom was a hype moment but all it did was just give us 2 new abilities and it changed nothing else. I want Peter to freely switch from suit to suit and each suit has UNIQUE gameplay with NEW animations. Web of shadows did this back in 2008, theres no excuse especially when this game's budget is at LEAST 100M dollars and YOU'RE paying 80+ to buy it.

* Miles: Just give Miles a full on surge mode like Peter or make it a transformation he can switch between. Maybe blue has the mega venom blast and yellow has the form so you can freely switch between them. Yellow maybe does less damage but has more AOE or speed while blue hits harder and is more single target focused.

* Sidenote: PLEASE give Peter abilities that aren't tied to the spider arms or the symbiote.
Originals are cool and all but please can we get actual comic outfits? Easiest example I can think of is how Spider-Man doesn't have a 2099 skin but 2099 has been part of the main plot since season 0 and ALCHEMAX is the main theme for this season. Last season was the PERFECT opportunity for some classic and Iconic outfits but instead we got... college outfits? Even for characters like Hela? Really?
Only good thing about Plunder was Kingsfall.
Fighting flyers in Rivals is my favorite thing to do
I try doing a drive by uppercut but the kick has more range and it just gets me killed.
Thank GOD Rivals went for the comic look approach over "realism." I know many like to "criticise" the game for its gooner skins but Rivals has genuinely spoiled me. Say whatever you want but these characters look like actual comic book characters and not just characters wearing military padding or whatever.
