What’s the best work backpack that doesn’t feel like a hiking or tactical pack?

I’m looking for something clean, professional and comfortable for daily work, with good laptop organization and discreet, easy-access storage for EDC, including a folding knife, pepper spray and a securely concealed compact pistol.

Nothing that looks tactical or like a hiking backpack. It should look good and appropriate in an office environment. Quality over price. What would you recommend?

Best “zero-length” trimmer for bald head + beard that ISN’T a foil shaver?

I’m looking for the closest possible shave on my head and beard, but I don’t want a foil shaver and I definitely don’t want to use a razor/blade.
Right now I use a Kemei KM-2299 from AliExpress, which is supposed to be zero-gap. It cuts pretty close, but it’s not very comfortable on my scalp. I usually follow it with a Philips OneBlade to get closer.
So basically I’m looking for the holy grail: very close/zero-length, comfortable on the scalp, good for head + beard, and not a foil shaver.
Is there anything that can actually beat the trimmer + OneBlade combo and get me properly down to zero in one step?

Looking for the best shoulder brace for sports.

I’m looking for recommendations for the best shoulder brace for a superspinatus tear to be used while playing sports. Does this kind of brace do anything?

Need help choosing a CCW

I’m 50yo and going to purchase my first CCW.
I don’t think I’ll be putting a red dot sight.
I need a gun that if and when the time comes will give me good control and stopping power.
In my service years ago I used to carry a Glock 17c so I was kind of not even thinking of looking right and left and going to buy a G19. But I’ve been told there are much better alternatives, easier for the user and with great performance.
I like the look of the Springfield Hellcat Pro.
I think the regular hellcat will be too small for me.
Maybe the hellcat pro comp?
So many alternatives these days…. Maybe I should “grow up” and forget the G17 era and go for something really small?
Can you guys help? Is there a consensus on this?
Any additional info you need to recommend me right?

Buy or wait? What’s the outlook for new Kindle releases in 2026?

We just had the big refresh in late 2024 and the new 11-inch Scribe models earlier this year, but I’m curious if anyone has heard whispers about other refreshes for the rest of 2026?
