Relapse on day 114.

2 cigs 2 days gap 2 more today. There's an anger-between-relationships-that doesn't gets resolved that triggers the need to smoke. Any and all tips criticisms welcome I don't wanna go through it all again 😓

Day 20 is my new highscore😅

It's probably demotivating to post this but i had a great time surpassing 2 week phase being stuck at it for 1.5 decade now.

Benefits - social anxiety completely vanishes.

You can do your workout and meditation much easily and it helps with general appetite.

This was my experience. 👍

2 weeks in.

Mornings are driving me crazy. Rest of the day is fine with urges getting easily brushed off due to being a little busy here and there. I have time in the mornings though. Gotta work out.

Why do I feel like I'm dying.

High nausea since morning. Dry heaving episode in the morning and weird vision problems. Ps - hit 77 days no nicotine. Maybe its lingering withdrawals ? Pls help.

I've been honestly, addicted since 15years now.

Haven't gone 14 days without pmo'ing. Struggling to create a strategy when I know i "need" this once in a while but i hate it !

I get so easily upset and angry like I'm about to, for the rest of the day, post a relapse. Ughh

Meltdown.

Fights at home. Having cold flushes and limpness in body. Tightness cool flushes sensation in left rib area. Idk what's going on and my parents won't stop eating us alive.

I have such fucking shameless parents that just create chaos.

New here. Advice Request.

Repress anger so much I'm getting physically sick now. Keep snapping otherwise. It always happens when people(particularly women) try to get into a verbal argument, and I can't help but feel angry.

The cycle is always repressing a lot of negative emotions when people treat me bad. I either keep my 'guard' totally up or totally down. (when people verbally start battering me especially if I'm happy).

On days i meditate I'm very 'chipper' and just not feel that much negative emotion but something happens (a minor traffic incident, a little argument) and I replay old memories of WHEN I repressed anger again and again for like hours straight.

N when I finally snap the relationship usually ends or there's a long silence.

Can anybody relate ?

each ciggerate is a betrayal.

to the person you know you could've been without it.

to the tasks that have been piling up since a decade undone because of the mask that nicotine provides.

to the things and people you love whom your time gets stolen away from to ciggerates.

Day 59.

Day 58. 🙂

Doing some cardio and daily walks (30 mins-hour-two) is shielding me from the stuff that cigs helped me mask.

Anxiety and panic attacks in general.

My health anxiety.

Financial anxiety and money worries (this is a big one; I can't focus once money enters my mind).

General existential crises ; death anxiety.

Loneliness.

I'd say people in the earlier phases of recovery to get moving as much as possible. It'll be a daily booster. Much love to people who helped me back when I had withdrawals.

I'm working with this book called 'dare'.

It's helping me get through the day with my most dominant (usual) symptoms - irrational thoughts, health & death anxiety, overthinking every little physical sensation.

has anybody else tried it ? thanks..

Quick tip.

🥳Day 46 - I hit the longest I've been without ciggerates today post a relapse day on day 45. Passively hit day 90 as well. Although I'm struggling much more than the average person with physical sensations getting stronger I'd like to say - GET MOVING !

Nicotine made us psychologically and/or physically able to stimulate while resting and I think I/we got used to that.

Symptoms worsen when we sit over screens too long and don't do enough exercise. Simple movements. Taking action daily is new but important. Removing provocative situations that induced the need to light one up is also preventive imo. Thanks everyone who supported me past 90 days. 🤝

Ps - light weightlifting takes care of a chunk of anxiety for me for those of you who processed their anxiety issues through smoking like I did. If i miss two days in a row my anxiety skyrockets. Moving helps overall I think.

Day 42.

Spiraling into anger, emotions and suicidal thoughts. Can only eat in small portions. Didn't sleep well past two nights. Managing anxiety and panic and sometimes not spiraling down that lane.

Does anybody has experience with this ?

I'm thinking of going to the ER. Also having recurring chest tightness that moves to stomach. Body numbness etc.

Day 38

Have so many questions.

Why do I need to have low stimulation days and the bustle of a 'normal' day gives me extreme anxiety ?

When will I recover from this ? I'm hoping 90 days or the three month mark will have me experiencing better days than these. I'm down.

Post Relapse Progress.

Haven't slept in a while and had some really rough days with PANIC ATTACKS and ANXIETY on little to no sleep days.

Chaos at home triggers anxiety and ciggerates used to numb it all. It's painful but I'm hanging in there.

how are you guys doing ?
