Looking forward to bringing Magical Athlete to the table tonight with a group of six. Since it’ll be everyone’s first time playing, I want to keep things simple and make sure everyone has a fun experience.

I’ve heard that some racers are more enjoyable or beginner-friendly than others. Does anyone have recommendations for which racers to use for a great first game?

I realize the racers are intended to be assigned randomly, and I definitely don’t want to lose the spirit of the game. That said, if there are a few racers that tend to create a more fun or memorable first experience, I’d love to stack the deck just a little to help ensure everyone has a great time.

Has anyone purchased the premium lawn seating at Morton? If so, how does it compare to general lawn seating?

Before our Puerto Rico trip, I went down the Reddit rabbit hole trying to figure out how expensive the tolls would be. I figured I’d share our experience in case it helps someone else.

We rented from Alamo for 6 days and drove every single day. Our actual tolls came to just $9.50. Alamo added a $14.85 service fee, bringing our total toll-related cost to $24.35 for the entire trip.

Based on some of the posts I read beforehand, I was expecting it to be much more. Hopefully this gives future travelers a realistic idea of what to budget!

After the 2022 final, Salt Bae 🙄 somehow found his way onto the pitch and ended up posing with the World Cup trophy despite not being part of either team.

Who do you think will be the 2026 version of that? Which celebrity, influencer, streamer, politician, or other personality is somehow going to end up on the field with the trophy?

My early guess is IShowSpeed (also 🙄), but I could also see someone completely unexpected showing up.

We had an incredible trip to Puerto Rico! We stayed in Luquillo and rented a mini van from Alamo. We experienced El Yunque, rock slides, Old San Juan, zip lining, and snorkeled with sea turtles and rays during a charter to Icacos and Palomino. We ate at various locations including the kiosks and an incredible fruit stand.

Rather than provide a full report, I thought I’d simply answer questions anyone may have. Feel free to ask away!

I just got pit tickets for an upcoming concert (Dave Matthews Band) and I’ve never been in the pit before.

A few questions for people who have done it:
How early do you usually show up to get a good spot?

Is it worth trying to get right up against the rail?

How packed does it usually get?

If you leave for food, drinks, or the restroom, is your spot basically gone?

Any tips or things you wish you knew before your first pit experience?

A big thank you to all FIFA volunteers. The people who give their time to help make these events happen deserve a lot of appreciation. Today, I especially wanted to recognize the volunteers at the Kansas City Fan Festival yesterday for the USA match.

Every volunteer we encountered was smiling, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. Whether they were helping people find their way, answering questions, taking pictures for families and groups, or just chatting with fans, everyone was incredibly friendly.

The match was great, but the volunteers played a huge part in making the day special. The positive attitude and enthusiasm were noticeable everywhere we went.

Thank you for giving your time and helping create such a fun and welcoming experience for all of us.

I’m looking at tickets for a show at Morton Amphitheater and can’t tell from the seating chart which sections are elevated. Is the 100 level elevated, or is it the 200 level?

If you’ve been there before, which sections do you recommend for the best view of the stage? I’ve looked for pictures and info on their website but am coming up empty.

We are taking the 12:30 ferry into Culebra and are departing at 7:30.

I realize this is a brief amount of time on the island, but am looking for recommendations on what to do there (other than Flamenco Beach).

Heading to the FIFA Fan Festival soon and looking for food recommendations.

What are the best food vendors there? Bonus points if you can include approximate prices and what you ordered. Trying to figure out what’s actually worth the money before I get there.

Trying to figure out if I want to attempt to park near the Fan Fest or ride the streetcar. Just curious what other plans are for getting there. Heading down there Saturday evening.

I understand that it is truly needed to visit both islands for more than one day to experience the beauty of the islands. With that said, I only have time for a day trip.

Knowing this, which island would you recommend for a one day trip?
