How do I cover these wires
What do I cover these wires with that are above my breaker box? Can I make something out of wood or is there a product I can purchase? Is there any codes that I have to follow?

I currently have a 240v mini split installed but I am going to replace the conduit as it’s currently just laid on top of the flower bed. I will have a 1” conduit buried and I’m trying to figure out what wire I should purchase. It is a ~140’ run. It’s currently 12 gauge on a 20amp breaker.
With the new conduit, I plan on running new wire but I wanted to future proof the circuit as I see a future where we replace this mini split with a larger one with more indoor heads. So a few questions:
I have Xfinity Mobile Premium Unlimited which is supposed to come with free international calling.
After reviewing my bill, I noticed I am being charged 10cents a minute for calls made through whatsapp internationally (to a covered country). Is this normal? Isn't whatsapp Wifi anyway so it should charge?
I'm about to purchase my first plate carrier and plates. I think I have read every plate sizing thread in this sub. I am 5' 9" about 180 but I am skinny fat. I typically wear medium and large shirts.
My nip to nip is 9". So I fall between SAPI Small (8.75") and SAPI M (9.5").
I cut out some cardboard and again, I'm not sure which size would be better.
I've been with my current employer for 8 years. Before we were acquired by a much larger company about a year ago, it was honestly an amazing place to work. We were a small company, I genuinely felt like family there, and the previous owner even personally paid out of his own pocket to help cover some of my wife's medical issues a few years ago. He is genuinely a great person who deserves the best.
Since the acquisition, though, things have slowly gone downhill. I recently received an offer from a direct competitor for about $40k more per year, which is a huge step toward my financial goals.
What makes this difficult is my manager. I knew him before I worked here, he has been a longtime friend and mentor, and we hang out outside of work often. I really do not want to screw him over or damage that friendship.
I am also in the middle of a major server upgrade involving 50+ servers and several software platforms. The project is scheduled to wrap up during the third week of August, but the new company wants me to start during the first week. The only two other people who would have known how to complete the upgrade have already left for this same competitor, so there is nobody else who could realistically step in and get up to speed in time. I know leaving before it is finished will create a lot of tension and put my manager in a very difficult position, as this upgrade has been delayed + having issues so many times already.
I know I need to do what is best for my career and family, but I still feel extremely guilty.
TL;DR:I received an offer for a new job with a $40k raise. I feel like the right thing to do is ask to push my start date back by another two weeks so I can finish a major server upgrade, but that would put my start date about five weeks from now. Would that be disrespectful to my new employer? How do I handle the optics of jumping ship to go to the same place as my other teammates went?
Has anyone had issues with rendering lately?
I have noticed that even rendering at the max size (3300x2550, 8.4 MP) and Render Quality set to 100% Local, the image looks super compressed and is only about 500KB (resolution is correct however).
I'm trying to do a touch up on my wall (yes I know it won't look perfect with paint matching, but it will still look better than the exposed drywall patch I have right now. I'm trying to avoid painting the entire wall until a later time).
I have already tried flat (too flat) and eggshell (too shiny). Is the only sheen in between those two Matte?
Also is there any paint/brand that it may most likely be considering it was painted by the builders? I was thinking it would be a better change of being Sherwin Williams than homedepot/lowes brand?
I'm trying to wrap my fender flares but I'm having some difficulty. I was planning on wrapping around the edge of the fender flare panel, but after removing it I noticed there is a black rubber seal only about 1/32" from the edge.
The vinyl doesn't stick to the rubber. And if I cut the vinyl before the rubber seal, it will just finer crease and lift as it's under a lot of tension and needs some flat surface area to adhere to.
I had a payment failure a couple of weeks ago because my bank flagged my Meta payment charge as possible fraud. I’ve since resolved the payment issue, but I believe my ad account may have been restricted or limited somehow afterward.
I contacted Meta Support, but they weren’t very helpful. Based on the conversation, I was told that I should try running a Traffic campaign first to “kickstart” the ad account before going back to sales/conversion campaigns. (My ad account is about a year old but I just started to run ads recently).
Over the last two weeks, I’ve run two Traffic campaigns. Both had a $7/day budget, since support told me to stay under $10/day. However, they are barely spending anything, only spending around $0.15 per day per campaign.
For targeting, support told me to just pick a city, so I selected Miami, which shows an audience size of around 15 million. I’m not sure if that was actually necessary, but I was following their copy/paste instructions.
My questions are:
Is it normal for my ad spend to be so low, just a few cents a day?
When would it be safe to start running Sales/Conversion campaigns again, with more accurate targeting to target the correct audiences.
Any advice from people who have dealt with low delivery after a payment issue would be appreciated.
I’m looking for a better way to deploy our AWS Site-to-Site VPNs.
Right now, I manually go through this process pretty often:
- Create a private certificate in AWS Certificate Manager
- Create a Customer Gateway using that certificate
- Create the Site-to-Site VPN
- Add the required routes to the VPC route table
- Add the required routes to the Transit Gateway route table
I’d like to turn this into more of an automated or repeatable template-based deployment instead of manual actions.
I’ve been reading about a few possible options, including Step Functions and Systems Manager Automation Runbooks but I’m not sure which service is the best fit for this type of workflow.
For his use case, would Systems Manager Automation Runbooks be the better option, or would Step Functions make more sense? Is there another AWS service that would be better for creating a reusable VPN deployment template?
So I just picked up this green Pittsburg ratchet to keep in my truck.
After using it today I realized it actually feels smoother than my G2’s. Has anyone else noticed this?
I’m trying to touch up a few areas on an existing painted wall. I know touch-ups are never going to be perfect, but I’m trying to get it as close as possible without repainting the entire wall, since it’s a very large area.
I’ve tested Behr flat and Behr eggshell. The flat looks too dull compared to the existing wall, but the eggshell is too shiny.
Does anyone know of another brand or paint line that offers something between flat and eggshell?
For context, this is a cookie-cutter builder home, so I’m assuming the original paint was probably the cheapest contractor/builder-grade paint rather than anything high-end. But maybe I'm wrong as maybe they used a more premium 1-coat paint as it appears to be a single coat since I can almost see through the paint in spots.
I’m mainly trying to figure out what sheen or brand builders commonly use that might fall between Behr flat and eggshell.
Any recommendations for brands/paint lines to test would be appreciated.
I created a new Business Portfolio a few weeks ago and finally launched my first campaign last week for my business. The campaign and ad set both show as Active, but for the last 5 days I’ve had:
No errors, no rejection notices, nothing. I even duplicated the campaign but still no luck.
I suspect I may have messed something up with billing/payment verification. Here’s the timeline:
But now when I remove/re-add card(s), Meta doesn’t even attempt a verification charge anymore. It promts me to input the code but nothing shows up on my bank statements at all, even with a new-new different card. No pending charges or anything.
At this point I almost feel like my account is shadow restricted or stuck in some billing limbo. I’ve contacted support multiple times and keep getting bounced around in circles with no actual answer.
Has anyone experienced this before? Did you find a fix? Is there some hidden account restriction/status page I should be checking? What are my options here?
I use Chat to generate mockups of graphic tshirts I print. I noticed lately the images I generate from ChatGPT have weird texturing. Is there anyway to remove this texturing? It's really annoying.
It's hard to see in the first picture, but the cropped in picture below makes it easier to notice.
I want to start by noting that I’m not a security expert, so I may be missing something obvious here.
We currently use site-to-site VPNs to connect to our remote offices, and each VPN is configured with its own unique certificate (we are not using pre-shared keys). At the moment, we’re generating these certificates through AWS Certificate Manager. However, as I understand it, the maximum validity period for these certificates is 13 months.
The challenge we’re running into is I find myself needing to regularly update certificates on customer gateways (local routers), and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to manage at scale.
Is there a way to issue certificates with a longer validity period, either within AWS or by leveraging another AWS service? I do have flexibility to deploy additional AWS resources if needed, but bringing in a third-party service would be significantly more difficult due to budget constraints.
