I'm mid season 3, a couple of episodes after Holtz snatched Connor and jumped into that allegedly one-way portal. They track the the time shifting demon (?) with the split face and he says it was a one way portal and they just believe him and give up. Why did they give up so soon? And assume Connor was definitely dead? I thought they would be working day and night for months to bring him back but they just started repainting the hotel and moved on. I know he comes back as a teenager but they gave up so soon and I'm confused. (please don't spoil stuff)

When I search "Vancouver air quality index", the websites that come up all say the AQI is good. But I'm having a hard time believing that because I have a window and two eyes and also a nose.

Does anyone know if there's a website with more accurate data?

I might have missed something, I'm confused about 1. why did Angel rent/buy a whole ass hotel and 2. where did they get that much money from and 3. even if they had that much money, why would they waste it on a huge hotel most of which they don't use? why not just a normal office?

I know there was that bag of money and the tech guy probably payed them well too, but I doubt that would cover the cost of owning or renting a hotel in LA, even one that was previously hunted, and even if it did, why waste that on such a huge hotel when they only use the lobby and maybe a couple of rooms?

(I'm on season 2 ep 13 so please mind the spoilers haha)

I'm curious, has PP said anything about TRF's ending or made any comments on how the fans reacted to the book or anything like that? I would google it but google is evil and other search engines suck.

I can't help but wonder, can we blame Joyce's death on that psycho Warren person? The time line in IWMTLY is weird (or at least not clear to me), but I feel like we were meant to think Joyce was dying while Buffy was sitting with April and comforting her before she "died". Would Buffy have been able to be there and save Joyce using CPR or by calling 911 sooner, had it not been for Warren and his not-sex-toy?

Hi all,

I have a bike with painted rims (bought it used, I have no idea why they've painted the rims), and I'm wondering if there's a way to remove the paint. The breaks makes a loud squealing noise and I think it's because of the paint on the rims. (I've changed the break pads and adjusted them, but it didn't make a huge difference.)

would Steel wool/magic eraser work? I have a feeling these are bad ideas. Acetone?

I finished SG 0 yesterday and maybe I missed something because I binge-watched the last half, but what was the deal with Leskinen? Was he just casually evil? IIRC In response to "why" he said because I'm a scientist, it's what we do. But that makes no sense. I feel betrayed because I liked him, he looked like a genuinely goofy and nice person. I get that there's this trope of "seemingly nice guy turns out to be evil", but this just didn't feel right.

And another thing that felt off: in the original (?) SG when Okabe was trying to save Mayushi and going through all those world lines, most "villains" turned out to people doing what they needed to do to survive. I really liked that. But then this Leskinen guy comes along and he's like "nah I'm just a mad scientist or sth idk".

I'm wondering if there's a way I can watch the movie (Load Region of Déjà Vu) with Japanese audio and English subtitles? It's not on prime or crunchyroll, and sailing to the seas, I could only find an English dubbed version, which is a crime against humanity as a whole. There's one with Japanese audio on YouTube but no English subtitles. I tried a bunch of chrome extension to add subtitles but none have worked.

Also, I'm new to this franchise. Could someone please tell me what this OVA is that everyone speaks of? I've watched Steins;Gate (it goes until ep 24 on crunchyroll/prime, but I hear of an episode 25. Is that the OVA?), I tried watching Steins;Gate 0 but got too depressed after the first 11 episodes. I want to watch the movie to get some closure lol.

Have they shared any information about approximately when season 2 might be released? Just trying to plan ahead my TV show obsessions over the next year.

Maybe we’re not meant to think about the details that much but it really bothers me, are there no security cameras anywhere, like at aunt lydia’s school? Also in terms of security in general, does the school not have any security personal at night? (Daisy ran away so easily). And I thought the gaurdians would be you know, gaurding at night too, but apparantly they just all go hang out at a frat house? Am I missing something here.

Before Becka’s wedding, the overly joyous aunt injects something in her leg, pracically her knee. Obviousely it was some sort orf sedative but why knee?

I'm having a hard time believing that Agnes Believed they were taking Becka to the doctor because, is mental health even a concept in Gilead? You do something wrong and you're punished for it, no one analyzes the situation. It's probably considered to be a sin to feel depressed even, because you're not appreciating god's miracles or some BS like that. Agnes has grown up in this system. So what kind of doctor were they even suggesting? Agnes might be naive but she is logical, we've seen her figure things out like her deduction about Daisy. So maybe her default is to believe her "father", but I would imagine she'd be confused at least. They know doctors as purely physical ailment doctors, so to her saying "your friend killed her father, she should see a doctor" must have sounded as irrelevant as "you broke your leg you should go to the flower shop".

I love the show but I can't get over the why. Why on earth did they send a teenage girl inside the worst possible place for a teenage girl to be in. They could have sent someone in her 20s who could pass as younger, or the spy/sponge didn't even need to pass as a teenager since pearl girls came in just as long as they were young and possibly "fruitful". WHYYYY. Why would June of all people let that happen, when she has a girl her age inside. In the show Daisy is possibly not June's but in the book it must be even worse to send one child in, hoping to get the other one out but most likely dooming both kids.
