Hello keyboard enthusiasts,

I am posting here to ask your opinion and advice about a Miku themed custom keyboard I am planning to build to fit perfectly with my ROG x Miku PC. While looking around for a VERY long time in search of a keyboard that matches the teal, magenta and black color profile of my ROG x Miku PC, I finally found the NovelKeys Miku board and keycaps. Now the problem is... these things are proper expensive, like actually. We're talking $275 for a pre-built keyboard, $195 for JUST the keycaps of the alternate set and $75 for the Novelties keycaps. And then there is still duties to be paid to ship to me. I personally prefer the IF Base Kit set over the Miku Base Kit set which includes some grey keycaps, which introduces the common dilemma of not enough money.

With all of that out of the way, I was wondering if you all have some good recommendations for a black barebones keyboard that supports RGB (preferably per-key) and some nice switches to make it all thocky. For reference, I (think) I like deep thock that isn't too suppressed. I quite liked the sound of the Evo75, Evo80 and Crush 80 on online previews. I have heard some good things about the Oily King switches (?) and the BSUN x Zuoce Marshmallow R1. Now I don't have ANY experience when it comes to picking switches or any keyboard parts at all, so feel free to correct me or recommend me anything you think will sound nice.

I'm looking forward to your comments! Quick note: budget won't be too much of a problem at this point, since I will already be spending this much on keycaps, but please go easy on me.

I find myself posting here to ask for advice on color matching. I am but a humble beginner when it comes to PC building, and I will probably have all parts to start building by next year. Long story short, I got very interested in the ROG x Miku PC and ended up buying all of the components. All I have left to purchase now are the SSD, RAM (💀), CPU, Windows, and peripherals.

Of those peripherals, I already have a monitor, mouse, mouse pad and IEMs, so technically all I have left to purchase is a keyboard. Now the range of options when it comes to keyboards is massive, but as you all may know, the Miku PC already has its own (quite niche) color profile, namely bright teal, magenta and black. I assume adding more colors to my desk would not be brightest idea, so hence my question. Do you have any recommendations for me in terms of what keyboard to buy?

I am aware of the possibility to switch out the keycaps, adjust RGB, etc. I just want some other people's opinion on where to go in terms of color, since it feels like I hit a wall here.

I will probably also get a new desk (maybe one of the adjustable standing desks) and honestly I am open to getting a new mouse and mouse pad as well if it makes for a better match in color, but that isn't my main focus.

TL;DR I got the Miku PC and still need to buy peripherals (specifically keyboard) and a desk, what are your recommendations when it comes to matching in color?

Hey, do you guys know of any cases that work well with the cooler? I got this one from the Nubia store which has this nice rotatable circular stand which is also magnetic, but since it's a stand there is some space between the cooler and the phone which makes it so the cooler doesn't work really well. Since the original MagSafe case is a really tight fit, I was wondering what you all use.

When do you replace the plastic screen protector? I have an 11s Pro and bought a tempered glass screen protector from the RedMagic store just to be safe, but didn't want to throw the plastic one away without going with it for a while until it's broken or something. But since plastic doesn't "break", when do I know to replace it? I doubt a few scratches on the plastic really warrant a replacement...

I am posting here, hoping one of you has an answer for me. I have already contacted Redmagic support but honestly cannot be bothered to wait. I just did the newest software update yesterday, and after the update my shoulder trigger RGBs specifically started acting up. What do I mean by that? Well, normally they work fine. All the normal modes outside gaming, even the gaming mode itself, are fine. No issues whatsoever. But as most of you might know, when you map the shoulder triggers to work in-game, the RGBs are supposed to turn red on the left side and blue on the right side. I really liked this small detail when I just got the 11s Pro less than a week ago, but now they turn off completely when the shoulder triggers are mapped.

This is very strange to me, as the triggers themselves retain all touch functionality, and the RGB works fine if the triggers aren't mapped. What, then, is making them turn off when the triggers are mapped, and why is there no setting to adjust this?

I already tried turning the RGB on and off entirely, I even restarted my phone, but nothing seems to help. I'm really hoping one of you will come here to tell me it's in some hidden setting somewhere I didn't look...

So I enabled freeform and force resizable in the developer settings, but whenever I press freeform, the app is forced into a smaller portrait window, unable to change size and location. Basically the frame and buttons that freeform windows should have do not appear for me. Please help! Android 16 btw.

Help me out here please. I initially wanted the 11 Pro 1TB Nightfreeze version, but sadly it's out of stock and not available anywhere reputable anymore; only sketchy sites, not even on eBay or AliExpress anymore.

Now I do kind of need a new phone. My Asus ROG Phone 5s performance is gone and I unfortunately broke the screen... I thought I'd get an upgrade in terms of storage, but it seems that isn't happening anymore.

So my question to you is, do I wait for the RM 12 Pro 1TB (hopefully it has a 1TB version), which I technically could, or do I buy the RM 11s Pro 512GB now? Some guy said it has thermal issues, which is kind of concerning to me. Are these "issues" actual problems or is it the same with the 11 Pro or just if cooled improperly?

This model is, however, out of stock on the official site, and the only webshop that has this phone in stock, happens to be evenshop, boasting a scary amount of negative reviews, also hosting some common scammer traits on their website, like offering a payment method bank transfer.

Now my main question is as follows, do I give up and buy the 512GB 11s Pro, or is evenshop trustworthy enough and do I buy the 1TB 11 Pro?

Would love to hear from you, as I've been tearing myself up for weeks now.

I have come to ask you a simple question. Which rum? The restaurant I work at has a cocktail bar, and I've been wanting to buy rum(s) that are in any case better than Bacardi white rum. Obviously both in the title are.

I also make some cocktails at the bar, and I want to ask you all which rum you would use for them. Cocktails I regularly make are Mojitos and Piña Coladas. I also make some Daiquiris, Mai Tais and Blue Hawaiis from time to time. While I'm thinking about getting a coconut rum for the Piña Coladas and Blue Hawaiis (suggestions please!), I also want to know which rum you would recommend for the others as well as stand-alone. I read somewhere that HC 3 Añejo is great for Mojitos, while Plantation 3 Stars is very nice for Piña Coladas and Daiquiris, correct me if I'm wrong. I already got some HC 3 and 7, should I also get a bottle of Plantation 3 stars? Or any other rum in particular?
