Just wondering if anyone has insight into this. I’ve seen tons of people saying that Gen V is for Glocks that won’t be getting a Gen 6 variant. 19X, g20, etc. But if that’s true, then why is there a 19V and 19 gen 6? If the Gen 6 has all of the “anti switch” features, then what is the point of both existing?

I’d like to put a VFG on this so looking to get to an OAL over 26”. I know there are a few people selling these in NJ and other restrictive states with the brace pinned to get to an OAL over 26”. Anyone know a good way to pin it?
Before anyone says “SBR it”, I would if I could. My state doesn’t allow them.

Just picked up a Bul Tac 5” and sent it out for custom porting. Yes I know the front sight is backwards… that will be remedied when I pick it up. Have to wait 10 days to pick up due to the laws in my state.
My question is, does the Tac non-pro come with additional recoil springs in the box? If not, what spring weight is recommended? I have an XC which comes with an 8lb spring. I’ve heard that 9lb is the sweet spot on these. Just want to confirm, and for any non-Pro owners to LMK if there’s one in the box already.

Was hunting down a Grey OZ9C with the Prizefighter slide for quite a while and finally got my hands on one! Was listed as used from Cabelas but there’s not a scratch on this thing. Picked up a MBK also for a future build.
Being in California I had to lose the threaded barrel, but not like I could use it for much anyway. Can’t wait to get this thing out to the range!
Now I need a couple of aluminum grips, and hoping to find a hypercomp slide for sale. I really wish Zev sold the black/bronze one on its own
Brought my AP5P to the range for the first time with the Radiata Fretensis lower. Figured I’d do a quick writeup on function.
Reloads are simple and quick. Initially I thought that the placement of the button would be inconvenient, but in practice it’s pretty intuitive and with some practice, i think my reload speed would be similar to the AR Maglock+Kingpin combo.
Compared to an AR with the Kingpin and Maglock or Hogue, it’s nice that no modification is required for function with bolt locked back because there’s no buffer tube. This is to be expected with any bufferless system but still nice.
Build quality is robust. I do notice some movement in the lower when shouldering it. There is some vertical play in the lower, not where it mates to the gun but where it splits to separate the action. But nothing that leads me to believe that it will break or fall apart. The thickness and structural rigidity of the Radiata seems significantly better than other 3d printed solutions out there.
Function wise everything worked as expected. Firearm cycled without issue. I did experience some light primer strikes, which I believe are due to the break in period of the gun & factory grease. I hadn’t disassembled, removed factory grease, and lubricated everything before my first range trip. Did that when I got home and noticed that the firing pin was drenched in grease. If this does turn out to be a fault of the lower then I will report back on this post.
Overall it’s a pricey solution, but so far is the best solution I’ve seen to maintain full functionality with a CA compliant mp5/clone. I’ll be purchasing another for my full size when it comes in.
So I know that the CADOJ released a list of firearms in a bulletin with some Glock, Derya, and Shadow Systems handguns listed. But it seems like they specifically listed on roster handguns.
My dad has a Zev OZ9 that he’ll be giving me through interstate intrafamilial transfer. Sounds like interstate intrafamilial are not exempt from the “glock ban”.
Is the OZ9 transferable after July 1st? Would transferring only the MBK(FCU) with no trigger installed change anything?
Century/MKE AP5P and Zastava M92 are home at last! Now to find a good brace for these.
Installed the Radiata Fretensis lower on the AP5P immediately. Anyone know if there’s a more useable fixed mag system than the Compmag for the AK platform?
Picked up a CS for CCW and an XC for the range and as a nightstand gun. Still trying to decide on an optic for the CS - either the RMR or RMR CC.
One of the first things I noticed was that the slide to
Frame fit on the CS was significantly better than the XC. Side to side there is some movement on the XC, although it’s barely there. On the CS there is 0 movement. Is this just luck of the draw?
Regardless, I’m excited to have added my first Staccatos to the collection! XC felt like a cheat code at the range. Taking the CS out for the first time tomorrow

Got a few Glock clone lowers. Should be a fun year building these out and doing some testing.
