Secret Wars II Omnibus
A local store had an omnibus for Secret Wars II for $400. I felt it was overpriced. But the store owner is a well known seller on the east coast. So of course, I doubted myself. Please tell me my thoughts were valid.

If I publish my first novel in a series, how much time should I have to publish the second? Is there a rule of thumb that authors tend to go by or a cookie cutter framework for successful series publishing? I feel I would like to publish books in a six month to 12 month interval. But I would like to ask those that may have done this to see what they have discovered.
This may be a non-starter should my first novel not drum up a following, but in case there is a short following or those that have been successful with series what is the golden rule?
I am beating my chest. To others, these aren’t grails. To me, gold wrapped in paper. Let me post and be happy. Close to others, no online purchases, all bin diving.

I have begun collecting Star Wars comics. Huge fan of Larocca. I am deciding on my character focus. I have my favorite characters, but I am looking for opinions on what you think is most popular without me researching the answer. Anything but Poe, and Jar Jar. Thank you for your input in advance.
I came across this today, and I often ask myself: Are my characters compelling enough? I worked so hard on my first novel that I feel that I’ve done the job but since it’s a series. I feel I can improve and there’s a couple points in this response that will direct my character better, I feel if I make it past the first book in the series.
Until now I’ve been bin diving for Marvel Comic series runs. If I finish my goals, what DC series, like a Marvel Infinity Gauntlet, would be cool to hunt for?
I finished my first series. I have a couple questions. If you notice issue number one it’s gold foil and I don’t have the original series line. If you notice number four it doesn’t have direct edition on the barcode. Can someone help me out with that? What is the significance of those things and if you noticed number three has a crease I probably won’t fix it but if I were to what would I do?
I am brand new to collecting. I started bin diving at 6 different stores. I don’t like buying online, I love the hunt. #8 and #11 elude me and are probably too expensive anyway. More to come. I’ve done work on these series as well: Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Infinity Crusade, Secret Wars II, Secret Wars 2015, and a couple more. What do you think?
My proof came in yesterday. I was happier with the look and print than I was anticipating. I am solely looking for congratulations. I am not promoted it but it’s my first ever, it may go into the void but I did it!! I even liked it so much I’m dropping my pen name. I am now C.M. Powers. My original name. Honestly don’t know if that’s better or worse.
I am writing a series of books. I am looking for good advice on how each book should end. How much closure should each book have? To what extent should I leave the reader wanting to read the next one. As bad as it may seem, there are several characters that have series but want advice on how literary fiction of a continuous story be wrapped up at the end of each book. Right now book one has an epilogue, but I feel that’s kind of lazy. However, I also have looked at it again and again and feel that it could be OK.
I don’t believe in a cliffhanger, but I want to have some closure at the end of the book. I have a main character and some characters a good story and I also want to see if this takes off, but what is the consensus for types of endings of each in a series?
