i’ve been using a cheeky cast on minion death setup to generate a ton of charges with profane ritual. mainly power charges but during mapping it’s really not uncommon to end up with stacks of every charge because of the charge profusion II gem.

i’m using wolf pack with minion instability and contagion with minion pact II. a single contagion will sacrifice a single wolf from the pack and apparently that’s way more than enough for max energy on comd.

i’ve opted for the consume a power charge to deal more damage node in our ascendancy tree over unholy might, but it kind of feels like i’m constantly capped for all 3 charge types and i’m wondering if anybody has any tips for what else i could do here to use them?

i was wondering if a cast on elemental ailment shock setup would work if i had a voltaxic rift for my wep 2, since it converts lightning to chaos and makes chaos contribute to shock. tried some stuff with the chaos shock support gem but it’s not really enough to generate energy for cast on ailment?

cast on ailment would be free for me because i can just swap out my atziri’s communion archmage, which is nice but really there’s just nothing else i can spend the 150 spirit on.

would appreciate some help!

tldr; it’s doable but pretty ridiculous. i lost count of how much i spent on liquid ferocity. then theres the divining each one on top of that.

oddly enough the only way to get that old instant recharge is to ignore the recharge nodes on the tree for the most part

i have invested everything into this profession from day 1. i have done my weeklies. there are no more recipes left to learn. there are no more first craft bonuses left to obtain. my tree is almost done.

why did i choose engineering? i’m a gnome, i have a passive, i have faith.

nobody is looking for anything except for the occasional prof tool. there is basically nothing we have to offer. blizzard, please give engineering something that people will buy, and preferably not another one that is time gated weeks for people to even be able to order from us!

what excited things did we get in midnight? we have upgraded from crafting mounts and bizarre consumables for world pvp terrorists to… chairs? yeah i guess we can engineer a lamp post now too. thanks blizzard.

there is no use for ingenuity because nothing requires concentration, oddly enough that’s an apt and poetic summary of the work put into this profession

it literally feels like nobody even bothered to proof read this. why the hell is the mining helmet unlocked in the engineering accessories tree? there is a mining accessories tree over there. that seems like an AI mistake or something

why is the most powerful recycling perk (that being obtaining mats from recycling) a reward from… the bits and bots specialization? did you mean to put that recycling buff in the recycling specialisation?

why does the recycling specialisation have nothing to do with recycling and it’s just a blanket stat buff? it goes on
