Hopefully this is relevant to the group: For any fans of Bruce Timm (of Batman: The Animated Series fame), Flesk Publications announced that they're working on a book of his noir art, coming out later this year.
I knew he'd done some pulp/noir stuff over the years, but didn't realize he'd have enough for a whole book. Something to keep an eye out for. I included here some pieces I found.

The Noir Art of Bruce Timm (not the actual title) is coming along very well. Following up on our Fiendish Monsters: The Horror Art of Bruce Timm book, this hardboiled collection from Flesk is the second in a new series to collect B.T.'s art.
We'll reveal all of the details and release date once we wrap up the book.
Inconsequential post, but: I just got back into NASCAR this year, and only realized this week that the 34 car's main sponsor is a truck stop/convenience store chain, and not the bakery company in Hawaii, where I live.
It was hard to think otherwise with all the yellow, and black serif typeface, and the heart apostrophe. Especially when Hamlin has Kings Hawaiian bakery.
Cool Cat Collective in Long Beach CA is having their second annual Cat Zine Fest fundraiser, and I submitted my thinly-veiled anti-AI story. (Out-of-sequence sample pages attached.)
My job has been pushing AI/Copilot, and there was a "challenge" for coloring pages featuring pets, so I ended up making this as a quiet protest. It was made as a coloring book but this is a mini zine print.
Ebooks are available at this link, and be sure to check out the other great books in the Cat Zine Fest "Featured Zines" and "PDF Open Gallery" sections.

I bought this shirt for a 1980s themed party. I feel a deep responsibility that I should be able to identify every man on this shirt. But I can't place the two circled hunks, who are they?

This is just a clip of Ben Lee talking about Dave, and I don't think their actual conversation was part of the show anywhere. But he says that he thought Pulp was better than Oasis and Blur, and Dave countered by saying the "kids aren't filling stadiums" to see Pulp.
Anyone think that really doesn't sound like something Dave would ever say, considering he talks all the time about bands he liked that were more underground, and starting out as part of that scene himself?
It just makes Dave look bad and tees people up for the usual criticisms about how FF are commercially popular but not actually good. Which we're all used to anyway, but it just seems like an odd story.
Via the Vampire Robot channel, which has compilations of footage from decades past. Usually it's newscast b-roll, so it's pretty good quality.
Always nervous about posting art on Reddit, but here's some various stuff I've done over the past few years that I hope you'll like...
Has anyone heard when they're closing for sure? Some earlier reports said May 2 but they reply to the most recent reviews on Google Maps that it hasn't been decided yet.
