Summer wedding guest dress (cover/slim apron belly and arms)

I’ve been doom scrolling for a wedding guest dress that’s in a few weeks. Who are your favorite plus size fashion influencers you follow? I want to see dresses on real plus size bodies to get a better idea how they fit.

Or do you have summer dress suggestions to cover apron belly and arms?

(Note: shopping in the US)

Starting soon - any tips?

Longtime lurker here. I'm finally making myself a priority and starting compounded tirzepatide. I spent a lot of time with my doctor and deciding this is the right path for me and found a more affordable pharmacy.

The pharmacy is compounding it with L-carnitine and vitamin B6. They said it will help reduce side effects of nausea and tiredness. (Those who are compounding with those - is that true?)

My plan is:

- starting at 2.5 mg
- injecting on Thursdays in my stomach
- focusing on hydration, protein, and fiber
- taking a multivitamin and collagen peptides (should I switch to Mary Ruth's liquid vitamin for hair growth?)
- having items handy like fairlife protein shakes, protein powder, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein bars (what kind do you recommend?)

I will be having regular check ins with my doctor, but my thought is to stay on 2.5 mg as long as I'm still losing weight, then increasing. I'm honestly really hoping I respond well and I can continue to lose weight up to 5 mg, because then the cost goes up like $100.

I know everyone's journey is different and there are so many threads with tips and tricks. I just want to have one saved that I can keep coming back to for guidance/tips/suggestions/advice.

Thanks in advance!

First time - recommendations for family

Thinking about lake George for a family vacation. Would love all your recommendations!

Kids are 4 and 1 years old. Would like to bring our dog if we could. But not a deal breaker.

- All inclusive resorts or small cottages/airbnb?

- full access to lake, able to rent kayaks, etc.

- hiking trails

- easy drive/walk to town?

- restaurant recommendations

Any tips, suggestions, recommendations appreciated!

Northeast lake/hiking with 2 littles

Hoping to find a drivable getaway (5 days, 4 nights) with a 4 year old and 1 year old. Coming from the tri-state area

- lake: swimming, kayaking, sand to play, etc.

- hiking trails

- walkable town nearby: restaurants, activities

Would love an all inclusive type place so not have to worry about meals/dining out.

Bonus if we could bring our dog.

Anyone successfully started zepbound then maintained weigh loss by going off of it?

I’ve been wanting to go on zepbound for a while now. I’m currently my heaviest (even more than when I was pregnant!). I would have to pay out of pocket, so I know I wouldn’t be able to sustain that forever due to my financial situation.

Has anyone successfully been on zepbound and maintained their weight loss after they started? Or used zepbound to jump start their weight loss process and continued to lose after going off of it?

I do have healthy habits in place which I know I could always do better, but I feel like my body just needs a kickstart.

Any tips, advice, or shared experiences welcomed!

When is a hospital visit warranted?

Spouse of partner with UC.

This is one of the worst flare ups I’ve seen him go through. I’m starting to become really concerned. He messaged his doctor and gave his prednisone. He’s been cycling on and off of it so much lately and it’s barely working now. His next infusion/medication is not for another week or so. He’s in and out of the bathroom every 10 minutes, barely eating, and now barely sleeping bc he’s up constantly in the bathroom. Taking Imodium to just get through the work day.

Signed, worried wife.
