Glasses Vs ICL?

Hey folks! I (21M) am extremely myopic with a prescription around -14D in both eyes along with astigmatism of -1.5D.

Lately I am thinking of getting ICL done for my eyes as glasses don't provide me a great vision (BCVA 6/7) and even with this BCVA I don't think my vision is still any good as i struggle a lot seeing text on the blackboard, seeing fine prints on signs on the road and even watching movie in theatres.

Like i have to press my glasses tightly against my eyes to see more clearly than normal and in all the scenarios i have discussed in the upper body I have to use this squeeze and tight method to see else it's not clear enough for me to see.

My glasses also cause extreme minification (around 25% relative to normal vision) along with tons of distortions.

Now, I just want to know if ICL will give me a better vision than glasses or not.

If anyone has gone through ICL procedure then do help a brother of yours knowing what's good or not for me.

Vision Flickers in low light?

Same as title why the heck my vision when I blink in low or dim light but completely normal in extreme dark?

The flickering is not something like a retinal flicker but rather more like of a greyish flickering around peripheral part.

The cool part is that it only and only starts to show up after 5 pm and in day time even in dim room this doesn't happen at all.

So guys please share some of your experience regarding this post.

Peace.

Do you guys have Visual Snow Syndrome?

As the title says does any one of you has VSS where you see static, afterimages, palinopsia and many other visual symptoms which can cause intense anxiety and panic.

I have ADHD from birth and from the starting point I didn't have VSS but but just a year ago I started to see afterimages, then enhanced entopic phenomenon kicked in later palinopsia hit the door and now static and weird visual disturbances.

I have attached about how my visual disturbances looks like when I close my eyes. These disturbances also cause my entire peripheral vision to flicker a lot and gives me insane anxiety boost.

So anyone of you who have this please let us know how you deal with it and how you manage anxiety.

Weird Pattern Disturbance!

Hey everyone why do I see these patterns at night which shimmers and moves especially in my entire peripheral vision and it also flickers a lot.

I start to see these patterns mainly at in dim light conditions first my eyes starts to flicker then these pattern shows up in my peripheral part.

I have gone mad just because of this and i can't live a proper life, it has drastically lowered my quality of life.

I literally can't even enjoy nightime.

Common trigger for these flickering patterns includes when I am stressed out, fatigue and being tired is primary factor, sleep deprivation is one of them and staying for a minute in low light but that too at night or from evening.

These cause me severe anxiety attacks and palipiations which eventually make it more obvious and also aggravates my snow around 100x. So yes I can confidently tell that this is also anxiety driven.

If you guys are dealing with these same conditions do let me know how do you tackle this and if you guys have found any kind of solution to this the please drop it down so that it can help the whole community.
