Anyone know of any part time retail jobs going?

Ive been trying for 3 years throughout college and university to get a part time (ideally) retail job but had no luck. Anyone know of any? My only caveat is that I cant drive, im in the Morriston area so anywhere there or close is ideal. I am willing to go into town though via the number 4

What if, somehow, 9/11 managed to hit somewhere in EVERY state?

So this is a very unlikely thought experiment. What if EVERY one of the 50 states got simultaneously hit by an attack? Say, from 8am EST until 9.30am EST, all 50 states and DC got hit had a hijacked plane and hit a landmark of that state, how would it all unfold? I have 3 key questions here:

  1. where would they target? Exclude New York, Virginia and DC (assume the one that was stopped wasnt stopped in time, but id assume the capitol building is hit rather than the white house)

  2. how would the day unfold if everyone got targeted?

  3. what would the USA's response be?

What do you think would happen if they managed to SOMEHOW do this?

What are on these polar islands?

Credit to Domino44maps (https://domino44.artstation.com/projects/PoaB4y) for the northern, and seismicsight (https://seismicsight.wordpress.com/2016/04/08/dragonheartedgirlfansout-for-all-you-avatar-the/) for the south.

I was looking at maps for an idea based on Wrangel island (basically team avatar find mammoths) and i need a remote ish island for it. Do any of these four small island on their eastern side work? Or do the tribes inhabit them?

Challenge: have one of Ash's pokemon betray him

So i have had this thought for a while. I think *ONCE* it would have been interesting to see one of Ash's pokemon turn on him. It would be interesting to see how they'd do it. I challenge you to discuss how. Wow would you write it? Who turns and why? Does a reunion happen? Heres how id do it:

Id have Scraggy betray him. The justification being Ash letting Team Rocket go. Every time. Id have Scraggy develop a grudge with the others after rhey stop him from going overboard on Rocket a few times, which Scraggy sees as a means to finally rid the group of them for good. After the subway arc, Scraggy loses it and strikes Pikachu, before turning on the others and destroying his Pokeball. From there, he' go rouge for most of season 2, hunting TR and clashing with his former team multiple times. Each time, slightly getting more remorseful. He'd also work with Ash on some plots, but very loosely. Finally, they'd fully reunite following Project Tempest.

So, how would you do it?

Ash has to lose a pokemon league conference early: which one do you pick?

So its pretty clear that this subreddit loves Ash winning, be it Kalos, Sinnoh, Alola, Master's 8, etc. But I like chaos, so I have an interesting proposition: you guys have to choose one of the 7 official leagues and instead of Ash's runs, I challenge you to make him crash and burn early. Doesn't matter how or why, you have to make him lose early.

The 7 I consider are Indigo, Silver, Ever Grande, Lily of the Valley, Vertress, Lumiose and Manalo. Id say the latest he goes is r of 16 like Kanto (but for Kanto its the round before the round of 16, otherwise thats the same tournament). I know if i include the Masters 8 or Orange Islands they'll just get picked constantly.

So, how would you make Ash go home early?

Rewriting Project Mew Finale: part 1

Hello! I am sorry for taking so long, but I'm finally back. After rewriting the Master's 8 arc (and making some controversial posts about Ash as champion and Greninja's fate), I am finally ready to fulfill my promise: let's rewrite Project Mew's finale!

(hopefully I don't piss people off this time)

So Project Mew was... something. It sure was. The big faux pas was the ending: all that build up, just for NO ONE to catch Mew. Alongside that, we get the weird Pokeball malfunction thing, and the weird Groudon/Kyogre thing. Let's see if I can do any better! I'll cover both final episodes and try to give it a better conclusion. Due to length, this post will cover the first episode. Let me know what you think. Lets finish Project Mew!

Episode 1: The calm before the Rocket storm

We begin in the Hoenn region. Goh lands at the Ever Grande conference alongside Chloe, Professor Cerise and new World Champion Ash! They are greeted by Horace, Gary and Hoenn Champion Steven Stone. The trio congratulate Goh for making it onto the final mission, and Ash for becoming world champion. Ash and Steven converse and agree to a small exhibition match once the mission is over, with Pikachu smirking, wanting the match.

The group make their way into the Pokemon League building. Once inside, they reunite with Professor Amaranth. Amaranth welcomes and thanks the participants for arriving and briefs them on the situation. Their final mission is the big one: they will aim to finally catch Mew. They've located Mew on an isolated island halfway between Hoenn and the Sevii Islands: Faraway Island. The aim is to head to the island in secret and capture Mew. However, there's a problem: there are rumours Team Rocket has tracked the team and are looking to ambush them and steal Mew for themselves. Thats why Ash is here: Amaranth requests him as a bodyguard. Ash accepts without hesitation.

Sure enough, there is an eavesdropper nearby: Meowth. He confirms the move to Giovanni and that Ash will be there. Giovanni orders him back to base and prepares his legion. He laughs and gives a speech to the army. "The mission is simple: capture Mew. Whatever it takes. It's time to create the strongest Pokemon who ever lived... again. Stand at my side, and we will rule the WORLD!" Most cheer, except one: James. In secret he tells Jessie the idea horrifies him: that put so much torture on the Pokemon involved. How can they do it again? Jessie understands his concern, but sees this as a chance to fix their mistakes. They can use their experience to help bring this new Mewtwo up right, potentially even reforming Team Rocket as a whole to be better. They then hear "I'm glad you think so, because youre heading up the ambush." Out steps Matori. She says they will lead Giovanni past Ash, sacrificing themselves if need be. She gives a simple warning: succeed and they will be made executives. Any hesistation, and they will be punished. Reluctantly, James agrees. As a boost, they are gifted old team members from previous encounters, primarily strong against psychic. So Inkay, Yamask, Yanmega, etc. These boost morale, but James still has some doubts in his mind. Is this really right?

We then cut to Goh, who reveals his main team: Inteleon and Cinderace as double leaders, alongside Galarian Zapdos (see the Masters 8 rewrite), Absol, Golurk and Skarmory. These are also all key Pokemon hes interacted with. He motivates them to fight hard as the goal is in sight. Horace reveals Virizion here. The group discuss the upcoming mission and Horace asks the pivotal question: who is catching Mew? They... dont have an answer. After this everyone boards the helicopter and make for Faraway Island. On board, everyone braces for the mission to come. We see the copter fly across the ocean after leaving Ever Grande, beginning the mission. Not too far away, a submarine follows underneath: Team Rocket are on the prowl.

We then cut to the flight at night, with the group closing in on the Sevii Islands. During this section, we get a nice back and fourth between Ash and Gary, with Gary congratulating Ash on winning the Master's 8. During this, they fly over what appears to be a small cave island. Once they pass it, all members of the mission are hit by a wave of psychic energy. They get flashes of a lab they arent familiar with, as well as a first-person pov of something pink flying through a jungle. Goh is thrown off and confused, but Gary deduces it quickly: that was Mew. As they go past, we pivot to the submarine, continuing to track them. James and Jessie discuss the plan, and we see another two submarines come into view on each side. As the helicopter flies off in the distance, a giant bird is seen raising its head, before beginning to spread its wings.

The final set piece of the episode is as they close in on Faraway Island. As they begin to see it on the horizon, the trap is sprung. Team Rocket's submarine surfaces, alongside an armada. The helicopter is hit by a barage of rock moves, attempting to sink the chopper. Ash and Steven spring into action, sending their teams across different submarines. They use Claydol's and Metagross' psychic powers to telepathically link the team, allowing for coordination. Each member sweeps a chunk of the armada, but some start to get overwhelmed as they brought other pokemon sets. Seeing this, Goh, Horace and Gary nod at each other and join the fight. This pushes the subs back. Jessie, James and Meowth join in to hold them back, not yet revealing their old team, but James is hit with that psychic wave. This distracts him and he gets sent flying. Jessie saves him, barely, but this gives the group the chance to escape. Mitori rips into them for this faux pas, with James almost snapping, but a shadowy figure behind them orders them to stop. They all apologise and the voice lays out the set up for the ambush. All 4 of them agree, and we see a grin grow on the figures face.

The final shot shows them all shaken by the scale of the attack, but more determined than ever to finish the job. The helicopter flies towards the island, and the episode ends with a shot up in the sky, with a bird flying above. As it ends, a rainbow feather can be seen floating down.

The next post will be Episode 2: Faraway Finale. That will not take as long to come out. See you then!

I havent heard back after an interview two weeks ago and it was short: that means I havent got the job right?

So i had an interview two weeks ago. It was short, they only asked me about myself and explained the job (i explained some other stuff like uni schedules in September and a condition i have) and then it was over. Ive heard that's a good sign, but I havent heard anything from them since. The status on the portal still says interview as I had to ring them to get the interview slot since one didn't pop up on there. Am I safe to assume I havent gotten the job? They liked me and showed signs of other posts similar to this that suggest I might get it but its been over two weeks and im starting to lose hope

Why can only Avatars bend more than one element?

Ive had this question in my head for a while. So every bender can bend one element, makes sense, and the avatar can use all four, sounds useful for a demi-god peacekeeper. However, they never mention why. Not why only the Avatar can bend all four, but why everyone else can only bend one.

Why is no one else in HISTORY able to bend, say, two? Like Kori Morishita for example, she is an earthbender but also a fire nation citizen with a firebender family. To me it would make sense she could bend both. The Guru and Korra establish cosmic chakra energy is powerful and mysterious, and forged the Avatar itself. What if she opened all her chakras? Wouldn't that make sense to enable her to duel wield fire too?

Now obviously it wouldnt be this simple. To me, it makes sense if you have direct blood and thus chi links to both, take effort to understand the element itself, open the chakras and probably learn from the source (sun warriors, badger moles, etc.). In this way i feel like even Airbending could be brought back. Hard and rare, taking time to master, but to me it feels like it should be possible.

Am I a minority here? Is there something i missed?

You can change ONE result from our time in the EPL: which game are you choosing?

With our time in the prem over, id like to think it was... optimistic. Sure the latter seasons were bad, but overall it was better than we've been in a long time! So I have a fun idea. Lets say we get ONE chance to overturn a result. Take every league game from August 2018 until May 2026 and change it from a loss/draw to a win. Which one are you picking and, more importantly, why?

My pick is vs West Ham in February 2022: We ended up 5 points off Europe with Lage. 5 points off West Ham. By beating them, overturning that loss, we'd secure the ECL in 7th with 54 points, even with the loss against Liverpool. Lage would successfully revive the club's form. Maybe, just maybe, we could even do what West Ham did...

(Eh probably not)

What game would you change our fate on and why?

Hello, I reslly need help with an issue im having. Ive been offered an interview and told to book my slot for one, but the careers website wont give me one to book. I tried all of yesterday and not a single slot appeared. I am very worried no one will say anything and that will result in me not being able to book a slot and thus lose the interview, and the job with it. What do I do? Thanks for any advice you give. What WWE opinion/take did you have that aged poorly?

Here's mine: in 2019 I was furious with the firefly funhouse for Bray and wrote a rant comment talking about how they "pulled a funkasaurus". Teenage me genuinely thought they Brodus Clay'd Bray Wyatt.

That was my opinion/take: as you can see it aged like milk and i owed everyone who worked on that gimmick an apology. So, what's yours?

What if Kobayakawa Hideaki had acted differently at Sekigahara?

With Hideaki deciding the fate of Japan, I have 4 separate what if suggestions for if he acted differently at Sekigahara:

  1. What if he had attacked Ieyasu as planned? (The obivous one)

  2. What if his army had done... nothing?

  3. What if he did nothing, then attacked the winning side to try and take it all for himself?

  4. What if he attacked both armies simultaneously?

What would Japan's fate have been?

So turns out, Seth and Mark were going to be on Flight 11, and "the king of pop" was supposed to be in the towers that morning. For different reasons, for example Mark going to a festival in Canada instead and Jackson oversleeping, they weren't. But what if they were? What if these three giants of entertainment had fallen on that day? What would have become of the industries and the legacy of the incident?

Here we go again! This booking will cover the Universal title - and its adjacent rivalries - from Summerslam 2017 to Summerslam 2018. Quick recap: year one saw Kevin Owens rise, using his friendship with Chris Jericho to live the dream Finn Balor was meant to have and remain champion. Things fell apart once Goldberg became champion, however, leading to a vicious betrayal of Y2J. Things seemed fine for Owens when he won it back, but Jericho came back with a vengeance to end Owens' reign and banish him to Smackdown. Though Jericho fought harder than almost any champion before him, his reign came crashing down at the hands of Brock Lesnar. With the former champ down with a broken arm, how will The Beast handle the title? Let's find out!

August/September 2017: We start August 21st 2017. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman celebrate in the ring, with Paul declaring the era of JeriKO over. Another old stag put down by The Beast. Here, we get three MIA challengers who step up: the fatal 4 way trio from our own timeline! Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman. Their promo goes as you'd expect, with Joe partially carrying the segment. A brawl inevitably breaks out, but unlike irl the challenger drops Lesnar with their finishers! The fights escalate until the 4-way, which goes as real-life. Lesnar retains, and isn't seen again until November.

October/November 2017: With Brock MIA after No Mercy, most of October goes the same. Now TECHNICALLY, we have him for extra dates since he wouldn't be at Great Balls of Fire, but I won't assume that and use him (yet). The only difference is at TLC with the Shield: instead of Kurt Angle filling in for Roman, we get a returning Chris Jericho who helps Rollins and Ambrose win. That, or he fights Demon Finn Balor, though I prefer AJ Styles for that role. Speaking of, Lesnar vs Styles goes the same with Lesnar winning. (Also assume Y2J is part of team RAW, which could lead to KO joining Smackdown in the name of revenge).

The only change in November is the RAW after, where Y2J attacks Brock with a lead pipe. Brock fights back and security comes out, but the security ends up helping Chris as he uses Brock charging him to use a guard as a shield before locking in a Kimura lock: the same move that broke his arm in August. There is no hesitation on Jericho's end: he instantly SNAPS Brock's arm. Brock clutches his arm as Angle shouts at Jericho, who smiles and looks at the universal championship. Brock is initially helped to the back, before pushing staff away and walking back himself.

December 2017: December starts with Jericho being suspended for his attack on Brock. The next week involves a protest, especially considering Brock got rewarded for his attack, but Kurt (Stephanie) cites Brock doing it in a match as the excuse. However, this leads to a roster-wide protest on the RAW before Christmas, with Angle caving: but not Stephanie. She threatens pay for those who refuse to perform, and during this reveals that Brock's star power is the real reason he wasn't suspended: a move the board also asked for. Most cave at her command, but some like Seth, Finn, Roman, Sasha and Bayley don't: also leaving RAW.

Meanwhile, Jericho actually shows up on Smackdown, ever the ones to take advantage of RAW's misfortune. He gets a promo, including a face-to-face with Paul Heyman, and a match where he tags with Styles to face Sami and KO. This is only one episode though, as the suspension also blocks him from SD Live as well. The final RAW of 2017 involves a big match: The Shield and Finn Balor against Miz and the Bar: if the pro-Jericho team win, his suspension is lifted. If they lose, they're suspended for 6 months. The match is typical trio affair, but the Miztourage seem to help the Miz's side win off a triple powerbomb on Roman. Roman kicks out and they fight back, and look to hit Miz with one of his own: and then, Brock Lesnar's music hits. The champion is back, and he storms the ring wiping out the ref. He lays out Seth and Finn, looking to hit Roman and help Miz. Brock picks Roman up, then shoves him, turns and hits Miz with an F5! He lays out the Bar and the trio recovers to his a Triple Powerbomb on Miz and win. Jericho can come back to work!

January 2018: The first RAW of 2018 kicks off with Jericho returning and vowing to defeat Brock and regain the Universal Championship. He calls Brock a bitch for snapping his arm and trying to give him a concussion at Summerslam, and unlike Orton he's not one to move on quickly or bide time for revenge. Jericho challenges Brock to a submission match at the Royal Rumble. Paul Heyman inevitably comes out and they go back and fourth, but surprisingly Brock accepts the challenge. Lesnar then runs in from the crowd and drops Y2J with an F5. In response, Jericho jumps Brock with a sledgehammer the next week, targeting Lesnar's quads. He then locks Lesnar in a Walls of Jericho and Angle has to threaten to fire him to get him to stop. Angle shouts at Jericho, until Chris slaps him. "Try me, cock sucker. Try me. Maybe then Jason won't be lonely with that broken neck." the next week, Jericho fights Rollins, who isn't exactly happy with the comment, though Jericho beats him by targeting his knee and then locking in a knee bar. Seth taps out from panic more than anything. On the go home RAW, he signs the contract for the match, before Lesnar comes out and the two brawl. However, no security show up. Brock lays him out with an F5 through the table, signs the contract and stands at the top of the ramp holding his title.

At the Rumble, the match starts out tense as fists fly and submissions are locked. Then come the limb targets. Brock targets the arms to negate the WoJ and prep for a Kimura, Jericho keeps going for his quads and back for the WoJ... or so everyone thinks. Lesnar even breaks out a Brock Lock, but that isn't enough. Brock brings the suplexes, but when he goes for an F5 his legs give way. Jericho uses this to lock in the ultimate submission move: the Liontamer! Lesnar's stuck in the middle of the ring, nowhere to go. Lesnar's about to tap" Bu then, someone pushes the rope to his hand, forcing a rope break. The culprit? Kurt Angle. Jericho confronts him, only to be pulled into a suplex and then a kimura lock. To avoid a broken arm, Jericho taps. Brock retains, Heyman holding up his arm.

Kurt Angle enters the ring and grabs Jericho's face. "Listen here, you piece of crap. You EVER threaten me or take a jab at my kid again, and I'll make sure you never walk again!" He hits an Angle Slam and storms off, nodding at Lesnar as he goes past. The next RAW, Angle says he didn't do it for any reason other than standing up for him and his family. Jericho took it too far and attacked him. Not only striking him for trying to restore order, but then taking a jab at his son for breaking his neck and threatening to hospitalise him! He bans Jericho from challenging for the title until he makes amends and the issue is resolved. Then, Jericho jumps him from behind and bloodies him, and that's the feud for WM34: Jericho vs Angle.

February/March 2018: The build isn't changed too much here since Brock isn't showing up much. The chamber is mostly the same, except Cena isn't there as I feel it's unfair to let Cena compete for both titles in a month (we'd have complained if Brock did it so it's a no-go for Cena either), though maybe Jericho could be no.7 instead. Braun has a tear run, BUT... Roman and Balor eliminate him together and maybe Seth/Miz. This would set Braun on a path to the Intercontinental title instead, where he can feud with Seth and Miz over it (whether or not he wins it at 'mania is up in the air). Now it's a coin flip between the two imo, but for me... Roman does make that bit more sense as he's only competed for the belt twice in 2017: against Owens in part 1 and the No Mercy fatal 4 way. Plus he hasn't headlined WM33 (nor will me headline 34) and I have plans for Balor to work his way back. So for now, as much as I want to go with Balor, Roman would win this duel.

Roman vs Brock is built to finish where 2015 ended for them. No heist of the century, no multiman matches, no friendship to intervene, but no rocket on his back either: if Roman wants to finally be world champion again, he must earn it in the ring by defeating Brock Lesnar. Meanwhile, Brock takes Roman seriously as he has brought the fight to Brock previously. Paul Heyman acknowledges Roman's abilities and strength, but questions his resolve. He mentions all the members of his family that Brock has crushed: The Rock, Rikishi, even Roman before. Does THIS Roman have the ability to break the family curse and tame The Beast? Roman says he can, and will. Then, he flips the script on Paul, naming the clients he's betrayed and abandoned when things go south: CM Punk, Curtis Axel, Cesaro, Ryback, many others. "A few months after he beat my cousin, you betrayed him for Big Show. What happens when I beat him huh? You gonna leave him too? Don't think I'll pick up your slack!"

This actually catches Paul off guard and for two weeks, makes things tense between him and Brock. That IS something Paul is known to do. This culminates in a promo before the last RAW of March where Paul comes alone and cuts a promo. Not only facing his demons of betrayal, but hyping Lesnar and spoiling that Roman will be conquered! After he finishes he turns to leave the ring, only to eat a spear from Roman.

April 2018: RAW, April 2nd. The contract signing begins in a parallel. Roman cuts a promo on his past, and that he's proud that he's no longer a puppet and has grown into his own person. "They wanted me to be 'The Guy'. A new John Cena. I wasn't allowed to help Dean, I couldn't say what I felt, I wasn't even allowed my own damn eye colour! They turned the people on me, made me look like a joke, had people jumping me all the time. All because Vince wanted a new Hulk Hogan as if he hasn't failed that experiment 50 times already. I was a mess.... and I STILL kicked your ass all over San Francisco! This time, no one's there to save you from me. Not Seth, not Joe, not Braun: nobody. Last time we went to New Orleans, you made yourself a legend by killing one. This time, I return to the summit by burying yours!" He signs the contract. Brock, silently, signs the contract and goes to flip the table, only for Roman to catch it and shove it back onto him. Cue pull apart brawl to close the show.

The match itself starts quickly. Roman does his entrance first, then Paul Heyman does the intro for both men on the ramp. As he then holds up the title, showing Brock and Roman the title before holding it up as Brock sprints to the ring and tackles Roman down. The two scuffle before being separated by multiple refs holding them back. The ref looks to each corner, before ringing the bell. The refs dive off them as they charge each other and begin punching rapidly (think KO and Sami). As the match progresses, we get some throwbacks to their prior clash. The superman punch barrage, the stiff apron clothesline, and also suplex city. Roman kicks out of an F5, Brock escapes 2 spears. Roman is busted open towards the end, but manages to fire back with well timed strikes to back Lesnar off of him. Roman manages to hit brock with some suplexes of his own, before hitting Brock with a spear through the barricade. He throws him back in, before hitting one more spear to pin Brock. Roman is Universal Champion! This isn't the main event however: that goes to Charlotte Flair vs Asuka!

Roman celebrates the next night on raw, vowing to show what the real Roman can do. "I'm not a good guy, or a bad guy, I'm probably not even the guy: but at least I'm finally real. I'm the big dog, and this is my yard now!". Now he eyes the oncoming storm: a double hit of GRR and Backlash. First, the clash in the desert. Roman organises a tournament to decide his challenger, who ends up being new acquisition Chad Gable. Roman watches and guest commentates each match, allowing for bonds to be made and to help improve his mic skills if they are still a little shaky. Gable beats Bobby Lashley in the final to get the last shot. The two have a sit down interview ahead of the big match, with Gable wanting to rub victory in Angle's face for leaving him to rot on Smackdown and stealing away his teammate. The two have a tough fight, with Gable utilising some of his Olympic style to catch Roman off guard. Roman (let's be honest) isn't going down today though, and manages to fire back just as hard and precise, before catching Gable with a midair spear to pin him and retain. On the final raw of the month, a battle royal is announced to decide his challenger for Backlash. This is won by the returning Samoa Joe, who has a similar promo segment with Reigns following his win. Also, the GRR is won by Bobby Lashley. This is important.

May 2018: We start at Backlash on May 6th. Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns. How the match goes is ideally more hard-hitting than the irl rendition. Roman has to scratch and claw, but emerges victorious. Roman now has a break before his next PPV defense in June, and tells the whole locker room to be ready to step up to him. This brings out Bobby Lashley, the winner from GRR. Roman offers his hand, Lashley takes it. This is a fight Roman's been wanting! The two go back and fourth, hyping a duel between them for Money in the Bank!

However, some people not finished with Roman: first, Chad Gable reappears and tells Roman Saudi Arabia isn't the last he's seen of the former Olympian. Samoa Joe then appears and pretty much declares war on Roman. This leads to conflict with Lashley and Gable, and a match is made: triple threat for the no.1 contender's position. However, Chad is wiped out backstage. The match looks like it'll be 1v1, until a replacement is found: Kevin Owens. The three have their styles clash as they brawl for their spot against Roman, In the end, Lashley flattens Joe with a spear after escaping the coquina clutch, and Owens jumps on the cover for a double pin! An initial scuffle happens, with Lashley being declared sole winner, but Roman decides to make it a triple threat. To make it even more interesting, since it's MITB, he challenges his contenders to a ladder match. Both accept.

The next week, Roman tries to figure out who wiped out Chad Gable. Obviously the two main suspects are Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, with Lashley as a third suspect. He asks a doctor who treated him what his condition, and he says he was knocked unconscious with a loss of breath. They believe someone choked him. Roman believes it was Joe, who calls him out for it. Backstage, Joe attacks him with a coquina clutch, saying he didn't attack Chad but he'd be more than happy to but Roman on the shelf with him. Roman breaks free and a fight ensues, the two eventually being separated. This leads to Joe vs Roman on that Raw, with Roman winning. Then, Chad attacks Joe from behind. Meanwhile, Lashley and Owens had an official sit down interview hyping up their encounter to come with Roman.

The next week, Roman faces Gable 1 on 1: if he wins, he's added to the match. Roman offered a title match, but Gable wanted to earn it. Unfortunately, Kevin Owens almost immediately costs Gable by low blowing Roman. Then, Gable is attacked by Samoa Joe. Bobby Lashley runs them off, but primarily checks on Roman: not Gable. This is important. This leads to a tag match on the last Raw of May: Roman and Gable vs Owens and Joe. The two sides go back and fourth, trading momentum. Lashley watches from ringside, talking about his annoyance that KO is even in his match at MITB. He also wishes he'd have a little more acknowledgement for his involvement, but he's not annoyed: it makes sense that Gable is the focus due to being cost the match. Unfortunately, Owens sucker punches him to bait him in, leading to Lashley going for a spear and Joe pulling KO out of the way before Lashley flattens Chad. Joe covers for the win, as KO grabs Roman and throws him into the post. He then looks at Roman, then up at Lashley. He grabs Roman, lifts him up... and drills him with a ring apron powerbomb. Roman is hurt! He's stretchered away as the heels beat up Lashley and Owens holds up the universal championship once more.

June 2018: Chad splits off to face Samoa Joe at MITB: winner joins the men's match, loser is banished to Smackdown. Meanwhile, Owens and Lashley ramp up the intensity of their feud, Lashley eventually saying he'll crush both him and Roman. Meanwhile, Owens talks about his last time on Raw, and how he carried the title on his back when Stephanie's chosen ones buckled under pressure: now, he will do it again. Meanwhile, Roman is BARELY medically cleared to compete and returns on the go home Raw before the show. He accepts the risk of competing, despite both Owens and Lashley telling him not to. Lashley respects his decision, but says not to blame him if it goes badly. Owens and Lashley square off that night, with Lashley gaining momentum by winning.

A MITB, Gable wins his match, banishing the Samoan submission machine. However, he's laid out backstage again! He appears half way through the MITB match, but still loses to Strowman. In the universal title ladder match, Lashley looks slightly tense at the start, almost with some regret. Then the bell rings, and he immediately spears Roman down. That's what he was regretting! The match starts as initially KO vs Lashley as both men utilise Roman being down, but Roman fights back. The three give no quarter and expect none in return. Owens powerbomb Lashley through a ladder, and then goes for a ring-apron powerbomb, but Roman saves Lashley and spears both men through the barricade. The match ends with all 3 men on 2 ladders, clawing at each other to reach the title. Roman falls first, and the challengers each grab a side of the title. a tug of war ensues, but just as Lashley is about to win it, Roman pushes the ladder they were on and sends them through a stack of tables on the outside. He climbs and retrieves his belt, retaining.

The next night on Raw, Lashley confronts Roman, wanting another shot. The champion is down for it, but says he'll have to earn it; all his other challengers have. Lashley argues he has: Roman retorts "No, you earned THAT shot at me, and you lost. You can either earn the 1v1, or go to the back of the line.". Lashley nods and goes to talk to Kurt Angle. Angle then announces that night, it will be Reigns vs Lashley. Roman calls BS, but Corbin says all royal rumble winners get a title shot. Since Lashley won the greatest royal rumble, he can use that for a title shot. Understanding, but not fully satisfied, Reigns accepts.

On the final week of June (Raw June 25th), the two have a face-to-face interview. Lashley hypes this as a battle between two of the best homegrown talents the company have made. Reigns disagrees: "You became a top star... elsewhere. Not here, not like me." Lashley retorts "Yeah, and I conquered everywhere. I'm not back because I need to be, Roman: I'm back because this is the only place left I haven't crushed. And I didn't have a rocket on my back either." Roman restates how that rocket almost killed him, but he broke free and destroyed it. "Did you though? It wasn't just Vince's rocket you had. You had your family's rocket, Seth's rocket, Dean's rocket, CM Punk's rocket: everyone tried to make you something and you bottled all of it. I have a rocket too! I just... you know.... built mine myself". The moment is tense, but they do shake hands and face off, both feeling they have something to prove to the other. Meanwhile, Owens storms out and cuts a vicious promo on the two for acting like he didn't matter, threatening to crush both men. This summons Braun Strowman, annoyed by Owens' moaning, and that kicks off a feud between the two.

July 2018: July begins with Raw on the 2nd of July. A beat the clock the challenge is set: Roman vs Owens, Lashley vs Strowman. Whoever wins quicker chooses a stipulation for Extreme Rules. Roman steps up first. Owens keep baiting the champion in, focussing on pummeling and attacks, trying to draw out the fight further to cause more frustrating for Reigns. He fights back and delivers big hits, but Owens' plan does work. 15 minutes: Roman goes for a spear, knowing he needed to end it soon, but Owens counters with a low blow. DQ win. Meanwhile, Lashley and Strowman tear the house down! At 10 minutes, Lashley puts Braun through the table and goes back in the ring. Strowman re enters at 9, only to eat a spear. Lashley pins him to win the challenge. July 9th at the contract signing, Lashley chooses a... regular match. That's it. "No weapons, no interferences, nothing: we see who the better fallen angel of WWE returns to the sky at Extreme Rules!". The contract is signed, and finally they square off in a brawl. Once separated, they can't help but smile: this is gonna explode!

Extreme Rules begins. The bell rings and Roman immediately hits a spear: he didn't forget MITB. Lashley tries using his Bellator MMA training, but Reigns blocks it due his experience with Lesnar. Lashley spears Roman through the barricade, Roman puts Bobby through the announcer's table with a powerbomb. Both men run for a spear and crash into each other. In the end, both men stare at each other from opposite corners. They both run in for one last spear, but this is a trap. Reigns drills Bobby with a superman punch, before rebounding for a spear and pinning the future almighty. Roman Reigns retains again. On the next Raw, Roman begins to look towards the future: Summerslam. No matter who he faces, he vows to defeat them and keep his reign going. At the end of the night, however, he gets a message saying "next week, he shall return". On the next week, July 23rd, he defeats Kevin Owens. As he celebrates, others come in an a fight breaks out. Just as order is restored, his music plays: BROCK LESNAR IS BACK. He cleans house, and drops Roman with an F5. July 30th has a Brock promo via Paul Heyman, announcing his rematch for the title "Roman Reigns, you survived the Beast: Now, can you tame the Beast?"

August 2018: The road to Summerslam is set: Brock is back to reclaim his throne. On the first Raw of August,, August 5th, Lashley is given one last shot at the title. However, he's cost this shot by... Chad Gable! Turns out he got some CCTV footage of his attacks: Bobby Lashley attacked him! He was intimidated after Gable beat him in the tournament final back in April, and has kept him out of the picture since. The two will clash at Summerslam. Meanwhile, Reigns duels Lesnar alone. Brock challenges Roman to a Steel Cage match, which Roman accepts. Then, on the go home a week later, the contract signing is made with another pull-apart brawl, but this time Brock successfully lays Roman out. He F5s Roman through a table and holds up the Universal championship.

The match is more official than the WM34 encounter: entrances, announcement, the works. Brock suplexes Roman into the cage multiple times, using belly to bellys to send him head first into the steel. Roman recovers, stopping multiple escape attempts and raking Brock's face against the cage. Brock hits F5s but can't pin or escape: Same as Roman. Desperate, Lesnar locks in a Kimura, but Reigns uses the cage to escape. Roman then shouts "OWAAA" the spear through the cage ending, but this time... Brock rolls off first. Even a year apart, the result is the same: year 2 ends with Brock Lesnar as your Universal Champion!

Or does it?

RAAAAAAAAAAA!

Braun. STROWMAN! Mr. Money in the Bank storms down as the cage lifts, grabbing Brock and throwing him into the ring. Braun cashes in his briefcase. Heyman pleads with the ref but Brock can't escape a running powerslam. 1... 2.... 3. AAAAAAND NEW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION: BRAUN STROWMAN!

Finally, year 2 is complete! That is year 2 of rewriting the Universal Championship. Hopefully I've done well, as always let me know what you think. I am so sorry this took so long to complete, university took up a lot of my time. Hopefully the next few parts will be quicker to complete. I already know what I want so year should be quicker to make an release. Thanks as always, bye for now!

I dont know you, but I really like what if scenarios. There's many that could be explored, but I like this one: what if Squid had defeated Techno in the Potato War?

How would this happen? Im not fully sure. I can assume some changes like ally switches or betrayal, maybe more people gifting Squid better gear or telling him some stuff Techno left out of the video. Maybe he even grinds more. Either way, the result POD is Squid gets to 500 million first and wins.

I dont think it would have really hurt Techno too badly, as hed still have SMP Earth, MMC, Minecraft Monday, etc. He'd probably have still gotten to where he is now! But how would have losing affected him and the channel? And more importantly, what would have happened to Squid? Would he have become more popular and seen a more mainstream presence? Like, could he have joined SMP Earth and gone up from there?
