Need advice on wearable tech or smart glasses

I will keep this as short and simple as possible. I lost 80 to 90% of my usable vision in June of 2025. Now, on good days, I can see decently up to about 20 feet; past that, it is washed out. I also have severe light sensitivity, so on sunny days, I am practically blind, as I can't see 3 feet in front of me.

Well, my wife saw something online about a person using a camera to record what is going on around them and then using a screen to see what is going on. Now, I don't know how practical that is in my case. I can see well enough to do things on a PC if I have a larger screen and a 4K monitor. Has anyone else done this, or have you heard of something like this?

Need Help with PETG

Hey everyone, i need some advice on printing PETG. my first 2 prints came out great but im trying to make a riser with adjustable vents for my K1C and it refuses to print well and im not sure if its settings or wet filament as i left it out for about a day as i was building my dry box. here are my questions

  1. what temps do you run ( i ran 250c nozzle 70c bed and i try to keep the chamber below 35 to avoid heat creap.

  2. what temps do heat creap concerns you,

  3. what other settings do i need to look at or consider for petg to print good.

im completely new to this space especially with PETG so any advice is extremely helpfull.

Need advice for a Cockpit setup

im wanting to get into sim racing but i either gotta build a rig from scratch which im not opposed to but i live in a apartment so its gotta be foldable. i like some of the rigs you can buy online but im 6,3 and have very broad hips and shoulders so i struggle to fit in most cars and so normal pedals need to be like twice the width her maybe a hair more then what most rigs are. any advice on prebuilt rigs or how to build a affordable one from scratch

Whats your thoughts on Reruns

so im a small streamer with 79 followers and average 2 viewers a night. long story short i have a Autoimmune disease and a few other health issues going on and normally stream 7 nights a week as i just stream for fun. figured might as well since im gonna play the game anyways lol. well me and a few friends were talking about a upcoming surgery i have that will likely make me not play for 2 or 3 nights and a viewer asked if i was going to do reruns while i was away. seems odd to me to do that altho i know a family member would watch and i can still mod chat on the couch and it would be cool to just focus on chat and talk to the few viewers but it just seems odd since im such a small channel. whats your thoughts thanks.

I should add that i dont want a restream to hurt the channel assuming that is even possible lol that is why im looking for advice on it

what are your thoughts on these virtual avatars like burn peanut?

i admittedly think its weird and cringy but i admit im a very old soul and well to be frank lots of the things current day seem weird and off putting to me lol. anyways im redoing my obs scenes and am considering making my own non anime version to test to see if that helps with viewership or retention. it makes physiological sense that it is effective but what do i know lol.

Chanel stats for reference and advice.

73 followers - average a new follower every couple weeks or so. this has really slowed down last couple months.

average 2 to 3 viewers - only 1 person really chats. sometimes i get a random chatter but mostly lurkers.

15-20 unique viewers average

Need advice for starting a 3d Printing business

Long story short i became legally blind and unable to do any kind of traditional work. i bought a creality KC1 and have been loving it so far. the wife has told me to look into how feasible it is to start selling things with it and making some money. we live in the Midwest about 90 minutes from any major city. there is a large flee market near me that im gonna go visit with the wife soon but i am sure its filled with like minded people as me so the traditional no effort toys and gadget stuff likely is not gonna work. any advice is greatly appreciated.

Long story short I lost 90% of mu vision last June due to opticneuritis and well come to find out it was from a autoimmune issue so I had 10 rounds of plasmopherisis and high dose steroids I was in the hospital for 14 days. Now here we are most things have been ruled out and they suspect sarcodosis but il be honest this whole process and not knowing has made me feel crazy. Has anyone else had to wait so long for a official diagnosis?
