It's been said a million times but someone might actually die someday

Letting Jon whoop niggas while he had head gear on is crazy?? He was beating people in the back of the head, having them pass out after. That's so dangerous. Y'all know there's a boxer that became permanently disabled after being hit in the back of the head? and then him digging in someones eye like that? Jaws being broken, getting kicked in the head. I just saw Island boi had gotten knocked out by an outsider. All the outsider shit on baddies, and using mace and tasers on people? I haven't been started watching the bgw reunion but I know I'll see some kess...

I feel like there's a disaster just waiting to happen. Also how has no one stepped in like police or these venues they're filming at?!

I'm finally done with Islam (convert DE-converting)

I'd like to first of all thank the Muslim community for pushing me out with their vitriol online, hyper surveillance, and constant policing. Being yelled at for having my nails done, showing an ankle, being treated weird just for trying to attend the masjid, and racist aunties refusing to pray next to me and trying to shove me towards the back.

I think my first glimpse into the reality of Islam was during my first umrah right after converting, but I shoved it away as "Islam is perfect Muslims aren't". Then when I learned more about hadith I told myself okay I'll just reject those and follow Quran only and be a progressive Muslim. Then I became so ostracized by the community (even getting death threats) I realized it's not just the people that are broken it's Islam itself. Hadith, the worst part of Islam, are a major part of Islam. And you're really not a Muslim if you don't submit to those books telling you that you can sleep with children and women are deficient in intelligence. I reexamined the Quran and it is problematic too. Obviously verses about beating, and telling the prophets wives how they are expendable. Less inheritance for women, the over concern about if people sleep together or not etc.

It creates an "us vs them" mentality. Muslims are always fighting each other, non Muslims, ex Muslims, or other religions especially Christians and Jews. The religion itself stunts peoples critical thinking and common sense turning them into a mindless mob. The women especially are always childish, mean girl pick me's I think stunted from marrying and popping out babies so young.

I've been mobbed at the mosque for having my nails painted or wearing pants. I've been mobbed online taking trips alone or for defending friends they were attacking in mass.

I can't wait to finish some tattoos, get some new ones, never go to a masjid again (unless as a tourist while travelling), and wear regular clothes that aren't polyester abayas. I can't wait to be around people who think with their brains and not with religious books. And to drink again! I will admit the detox from alcohol helped, but being able to have a glass of wine every now and then will be so nice again! It feels so good being a normal person again.

If y'all have any questions I'm happy to answer them. My story isn't so exciting though.

I want to thank this sub too. Perusing it helped a lot. At first it was hard and I left this sub a few times still holding on to the faith. I got offended by posts because I was struggling with so much cognitive dissonance. But finally I was so fed up and found a lot of important information here. Thank you.

For men, what made you leave islam?

I ask because for me a woman leaving Islam makes sense. It's so misogynist and such a struggle for women (and little girls). However Islam is really a religion for men. I mean:

-You're guaranteed a submissive wife

-You don't really have a "hijab" to observe

-Many rules for men they don't follow or can shirk.

-You have the right to fuck your wife any time or angels curse her

-Just reiterating: you get full control over women, telling them when and where they can leave this house, if they can work etc and many women are perfectly happy with this dynamic

-More inheritance

-Full control over divorce

-Full control over finances

-Have an entire backing of other men so if you commit a crime Muslim men will tell everyone don't expose your skins and make a thousand excuses for you. They'll silence any woman that speaks against you.

-Huge marriage pool because most Muslim women are giant pick mes ready to audition for you.

-No matter what you can always find a sheikh to be on your side about anything esp if it's against a woman

-72 virgins

-the hoors in jannah

-Beautiful gorgeous masjids

-SO MUCH MORE

I mean it sounds like a paradise for men. I'm curious what exactly triggered you to examine and eventually leave it? I think if I were a man I'd be happy to stay disillusioned lol.

best way to contact support?

I've been emailing support because I paid for my subscription but didn't get the 100 amethysts. And today all my subscription privileges stopped despite me just paying for the subscription. Is anyone else having this bug?

Anyone rage quit when they find out they're not on a romance path for whatever reason?

Even though I took so many diamond scenes I just found for some reason I'm not on Max's romance path anymore, and the same happened to me with thunderstorm Saga for the primce, and the idea of having to either continue as is to see the end anyway, or restart to get the romancing I want is so paralyzing 😔 (sorry I always space on character names and book names lol)

Anyone convert to Islam then leave a few years later?

I converted to Islam a few years ago after getting swept up in the Oct 8 tide of people who converted because of the "faith of Palestinians" (still free everybody for the atrocities happening all over right now). I even moved to a Muslim country got married etc. (My husband is actually a secret ex Muslim I found out when I mentioned some questionable things in Islam to him. It was very interesting and he lit up when he realized I was the first safe space for him to voice these things.)

So, now I am finally ready to leave islam.

My biggest wakeup call was getting a big following on Instagram and getting absolute vitriol from Muslims (esp men) even when I was just saying nice things, and talking about things I was learning about Islam that interested me. I didn't realize they were "hot button" issues. Like learning about Muhammeds great granddaughter who didn't wear hijab. I got the most racism I've ever faced, threats of rape, had some beefs with some big accounts and noticed them gaining followers despite being openly disgusting and racist and sexist etc. It made me realize that as a woman I am not welcome in Islam, and I spent a lot of time ignoring that. Even trying to be "progressive," and twist the Quran to say that women can't be beaten (it means to "go on strike") and men inherit more because they spend it back on women anyway (such a cope).

But the only thing is I feel a weird embarrassment, and it sucks making a mistake of joining a religion changing everything about myself, even learning to pray on a whole other language, just to leave. I'm also unsure what to do now that I have this big following on Instagram. I don't know if I need to announce that I'm no longer Muslim. There are also a lot of people that I'm sure were making dua that I leave islam and shut up (especially when I started talking about double standards in the community and inequality). They will be so smug about it, make videos about me, say that I was just a plant from the CIA or Mossad just like they said, etc.

I feel this sub is mostly those born into Muslim families, but wondering if there are any converts and how it went for you.

Thanks in advance for the advice

I'm so tired of them pretending they "don't want people who just fight"

Yet at the auditions for bad boys/bgw when guys came out giving good answers to their questions, and having some decorum, they said it was boring. Then they got hyped when people started fighting, and gave them tickets. They judge people based on their fighting skills and instigate fights between people. Stop pretending you actually care if people have personalities or not and just admit it's about fighting and being messy ugh.

Making comment reply videos

When I make video responses to comments Im unable to edit the size of the comment. It disappears but when I post the video or look at the preview its still there and its in some random spot. But when editing it glitches out and I cant grab and move it or resize it. I've tried clearing the cache and reopening tik tok but its still the same issue. What do I do? I already recorded a full video ugh

Tier 2 officer is supposed to call and idk what to say

Its regarding my expedite. Ive requested expedites a few times. The most recent one I asked for an update and they said it had been closed (I assume because theyre sick of me and it may have been similar lol Ive just been throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks lol desperate times) but anyways it was because my husband is in an instable region and its unsafe and a lot of hardships.

So an agent in the chat said they arranged a phone call. Now I DOUBT they will actually call but if they do i need to be prepared! For those who have had a call and had some results what should I even say?

Is live chat no longer an option?

I need to chat with support but keep getting only the option to receive a phone call. When I click for more options it just says I need to speak to an agent on the phone. Which i cannot do. How do I chat a human?

The HR system is frustrating

I'm constantly being referred to the myHR in the app who then refers me to onsite HR who will then try to refer me back to the app. The app refers me to a supervisor who refers me to onsite HR who wkll sometimes refer me back to a supervisor! I just want to request accommodation during my shift and a locker but at this point I gave up. Now I just let my supervisor know when I gotta walk off for a few minutes (as well as why) and keep my bag with me because its clear there is some break in communication between onsite HR and those on the app and neither wants to help 🙃

Do people not like when you help them at their lanes?

Sorry if my terminology is off. Still learning! I just started and work sorting packages. My trainers told me that we need to go to the blue lights and made it seem like if they're blinking we should be be switching between lanes and hopping on lanes with other people to help. Or basically constantly be moving between lanes and getting boxes and sorting them. But what I'm seeing is people tend to pick a lane and stay at that lane and seem irritated if for example, I work their lane while theyre in the bathroom and the packages are piling up. They'll come back and kinda give me a look or not say thank you or anything lol. Another person jokingly said "Are you just gonna steal my packages?" Because I didn't know it was her lane and I saw the boxes piling up and since I didn't have any just went to do those.

Personally I prefer sticking to one lane especially because it seems people can have different ways that they are stacking and organizing. So I don't mind.

I just worry supervisors will see me standing while someones chute is filling up when theyre in the bathroom and think I'm not listening.

Anyway, what is the unwritten unspoken preference for this?

DTB out of breath rehearshing with multiple fades going on

Ts had me cracking up, and the editing with the split screens of her dancing and everyone whooping on each other was so funny. I fear this season of Baddies is actually entertaining IF they don't drag it too much.

As usually idk why anyone is beefing but the way they're just brawling during this rehearsal is hilarious.

What should I wear for my first day?

I'm starting my training in the sortation center tomorrow and wondering what should I wear? Safety shoes yes of course, but I assume casual, but not sloppy is okay? So can I wear a graphic t-shirt and some jeans and call it a day?

And after that what do people, especially my fellow ladies, wear day to day? Are yoga pants or leggings with an oversized tshirt okay or is that too casual?

Took me a little over a month, saw about 6 houses, found one I like. I had an amazing agent and mortgage team behind me. A little sad I had to do this all without my husband, but happy to have a home ready for when we're reunited 💗

u/Thick_Analysis_6745 — 4 months ago

I just bought a house and it has me missing my husband so much. He works construction and loves home improvement. I hate that he wasn't there to sign with me (I was his POA), or to take the picture with the key. All my trips to Home Depot which i know he'd love are without him. All the furniture I have to build that i know he would have a blast doing. While I'm happy we have a home for him to come to when he arrives its so sad we're not doing all this stuff together.

My heart goes out to everyone in the same situation or worse. Ive heard stories of having to give birth, attend funerals, and more without spouses. This is really heartbreaking and honestly shameful. I got residency in my husbands country within a week. For it take sometimes years to bring our spouses here is crazy.
