Trouble with making stencils.

So I make custom upcycled clothes —mainly jeans. I am trying to make a freezer paper stencil for a patch that's 4×5 for a knee patch. I keep tearing the letters because the there's not enough room to make decent size spaces. Any tips or tricks for doing more intricate designs?

I can't remember what my dad sounded like

I have epilepsy so my memory is absolute trash. It's been 13 years and I can't remember what my dad sounded like. I'd never be able to talk about this with my family because they all hated him for being an asshole to my mom.

Have you pooped on a long commute?

I have a 14 mile commute and 10 of those miles are through a forest with no bathrooms anywhere. I have IBS and had to choose to chance it or stop and poop in a forest. I pooped in the forest and it was really weird.

Please don't roast me too hard.

So I hand painted and am upcycling this shirt to sell on depop but I got a paint smudge and the shirt came with pen marks. You think it's still cool? It would make a super cool outfit if I didn't fuck up the shirt.

If you were buying this off depop would you care about the paint smudges?

So I just started hand painting and selling upcycled clothes on depop. If I disclosed the little paint smudge would people still think it's cool? It's supposed to be like punk/ streetwear.

Whys my festival bag not selling?

My store is called dystopian designs on depop. It's a pretty new store and I made this bag a month ago. Is there something wrong with my bag? I have 500 views and 58 clicks. I have it priced at $38 which is pretty reasonable I think. Is it ugly or something?

I wonder if chat gpt reacts to questions the same way in different languages.

So chat gpt to American users is very nice. Do you think it would react differently to someone from the Netherlands where communication is more blunt than the United States.

New vs old sewing machines

So my mom's giving me a singer from the late 80s early 90s. Obviously I'll take the free machine, but what makes these new computerized machines better than the old school ones? My mom did a lot of these projects arguably better looking than these tik tok people with fancy machines.

Newbie here

So I want to sew this patch to this faux leather bag. The pocket is about an inch thick. I was planning on using an embroidery needle with normal thread and a whip stitch with a little fabric glue in the corners. Any advice?

Newbie to sewing

So I'm a newbie to sewing. I learned to sew as a kid but I'm taking on a new project. It's a faux leather bag I want to sew a patch to. There's about an inch of padding between the pocket and the top of the bag. My plan was to use an embroidery needle and whip stitch. I was planning on using some fabric glue on the corners. Any advice?

Rear view mirrors

I don't understand mirrors I have tried several and they move every time I hit a pot hole or go on a slightly bumpy trail. I've gotten used to looking over my shoulder. Are they a show piece or do you actually use them?

When I told him it wasn't appropriate he's like what you were talking about your fat aunt so I thought your mom was fat too. I was nearly dying laughing but I held it together and just walked away lol 🤣

Lost front axle hardware on my gotraxx r1

Hi I lost the front axle hardware on the right front wheel. I messaged go traxx and they don't sell the hardware. I tried ace hardware and they said ebikes have weird sizes. Any idea where I can get them. I called the lbs and they said they generally don't have hardware for budget bikes. They told me to bring the entire wheel and the nut in. Chat gpt showed me a couple bolts but no match for the stop washer.

Anybody else randomly pick up the same stims as their students?

I think I have ADHD and I keep my stims under control at work but at home I find beating on my chest and making noises relaxing. I used to pull on my hair gently or pinch blunt objects. I try to hide it around my family because they already make jokes that they are kinda serious about me being dumb because I was in a resource special ed room growing up. I also hide it around friends because they'd definitely think I'm weird.

It's such a pet peeve of mine when my coworkers share their snacks with the students. Now if students see I have my drink on top of the lockers one will get a cup and expect me to give him some. When I don't give him any he goes into a full on behavior and then he works for another paras mio. I'm like how did that solve anything.... Or on grocery store field trips all the students try to swipe things that aren't on the list. Some of the paras will buy them the stuff if the kid had a good day. I'm like no! We have specific classroom snacks the kids can work for. The teacher kinda just told everyone not to but doesn't enforce it. The principal made a statement about it but to be real doesn't care. It's to cover his ass after a student had an allergic reaction to a snack he stole from another student.

I work at a therapeutic day school and am beyond grossed out of the bathrooms at work just seeing what the kids do to them. The custodian does a good job cleaning but I'm still grossed out. I hold my poop until lunch and poop at the gas station next to work. Ironic because gas stations are known for being gross but still better than what I see.
