Edison, NJ - Police and firefighters responded to the blaze at the Marina Drive apartment complex around 11:13 p.m. On Wednesday, May 20 and found multiple residents trapped inside the building.

Video shared by Mayor Sam Joshi shows officers kicking out a second-floor window as smoke poured from the building and first responders rushed to rescue residents.

One woman in a wheelchair was pulled from a third-floor window.

“She can’t walk at all,” one officer can be heard saying in the footage. “Let’s put her on a sheet, and we’ll just slide her down.”

The woman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for smoke inhalation. She has since been released and is doing well, officials said.

Officers and firefighters immediately deployed truck and ground ladders, rescuing approximately 10 to 12 people from the fire, according to authorities.

“This is what protecting your community looks like,” Joshi wrote while sharing the footage. “Our first responders performed with extraordinary heroism and bravery under pressure. We are grateful to all of our crews who saved lives last night.”

The fire left 20 apartments uninhabitable, temporarily displacing residents, officials said. The Red Cross and Edison Office of Emergency Management are assisting affected families with temporary accommodations.

“Our first responders performed with extraordinary professionalism and bravery under pressure,” officials said. “Their training showed last night, and their heroism should not go unnoticed.”

The video ends with one exhausted officer joking after the rescue: “This wasn’t on my bingo card for today.”

Fairfield, CA - The Fairfield Police Department released body camera footage of officers breaking up a fight and arresting two students at Fairfield High School on Wednesday as a video of the incident circulated on social media.

Officers said they responded to the high school shortly after 12:30 p.m. due to a fight on campus that involved multiple students.

One student fought a school official who was attempting to break up the fight, police said. The officer requested emergency help and saw one student attempting to pull something out of a backpack during the fight.

The officer believed the student was grabbing a weapon and confiscated two backpacks. Police said they later found sharp objects in the backpacks, including a screwdriver.

The student was then escorted to a school office by the officer, as a large crowd followed them. Once that student was in the office, the officer contacted a second student, who they say was still trying to fight.

Police said the student refused to listen to the officer and ran into the large group, where more fights were taking place.

When the officer tried to detain the student, police said the student hit the officer. The officer was able to grab the student and escort him toward the school office.

But the student pulled away and was "displaying aggressive behaviors," police said. At this time, additional officers arrived at the scene, and one officer took the student down to the ground.

Police said the student continued to resist arrest and placed his hands over his head and covered his face. An officer tried to place the student's hands behind his back, but was unsuccessful.

This is when police said the officer hit the student, calling it a "distraction strike to the second student's hands." The officer then tried again to place the student's hands behind his back, but was still unsuccessful.

"The officer applied additional distraction strikes, which resulted in the second student complying and placing his hands behind his back," police said.

That student was then arrested as a large group of students surrounded officers.

The first student who was placed into the school office then escaped, but was soon after arrested, police said.

The police department addressed a video on social media, saying it's committed to transparency and released body camera footage. Viewer discretion advised.

Police said the two students, who were not identified, were arrested for causing a disturbance on a school campus and resisting arrest. They were not injured in the incident, police said. No officers were injured either.

Chippewa Falls police sergeant acted in self-defense when he fatally shot a man during traffic stop

Chippewa Falls, WI - The Chippewa County District Attorney's Office has determined that a Chippewa Falls police sergeant acted in self-defense when he fatally shot a man during an April 9 incident near a hotel on West Park Avenue.

Sgt. James Luckey shot and killed Bradley Barnum after Barnum pointed a handgun at him while fleeing over a fence, according to a review of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation's reports.

Tuesday, District Attorney Wade Newell said Luckey's actions were reasonable and legally justified.

As 18 News reported, officials responded to the hotel and made contact with three people in a vehicle. One of them, Barnum, fled. Officer Luckey pursued him and while fleeing, Barnum showed a handgun. That's when Officer Luckey discharged his weapon, striking Barnum. Barnum attempted to regain his footing while still holding the handgun in his right hand. He refused multiple commands to drop the weapon, and Luckey fired again as Barnum continued to present an imminent threat to Luckey and other officers.

Barnum was later pronounced dead at the scene. Toxicology results indicated positive results for amphetamine and methamphetamine.

Under Wisconsin law, officers may use deadly force in self-defense if they reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm. The district attorney's office said Luckey's actions were reasonable given the totality of the circumstances.

No further action will be taken by the district attorney's office regarding this matter.

Mt. Clemens, MI - Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, was allegedly slurring her words and blew nearly three times the legal limit during her latest DUI arrest last week.

Scott was allegedly unable to keep steady on her feet and smelled of alcohol when she was pulled over after hitting a parked car in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, according to a police report obtained by TMZ Tuesday.

Per officers, she admitted to having consumed alcohol hours earlier, and her breathalyzer test resulted in a .204 blood alcohol content level, which is above the state’s 0.8 legal limit.

Scott, 51, allegedly cooperated with officers as she was detained and taken to a police station, where she allegedly blew a .176 and .181 BAC.

The arrest occurred on Wednesday night, and Scott was booked at Macomb County Jail the following day, the outlet previously reported.

She was later released from jail.

Scott’s arrest came days after she appeared in court for similar charges.

On May 11, she pleaded no contest to driving while impaired and failing to report to an accident that occurred in February.

During the prior incident, Scott allegedly hit another parked car while on her way to take her son, Parker, and his pals shopping.

Scott, however, allegedly fled the scene and crashed into her garage door when she arrived home, according to her neighbors, TMZ reported.

At the time, she was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Bottles with soda and alcohol were allegedly found in Scott’s car, and she took a breathalyzer test, per bodycam footage.

Scott’s sentencing for the February crash will occur next month.

Ripley County, IN - A vehicle with three people inside was swept off a roadway by flash floodwaters in Ripley County, Indiana, sending the occupants floating about half a mile downstream as they held on and called for help.

Rescue divers arrived at the scene and used safety lines to extract the victims from the vehicle. One at a time, they were outfitted with safety gear and guided to the edge of the fast-running creek.

The decision to drive through the fast-moving floodwaters quickly turned dangerous.

“Obviously, we’ve gotten a lot of rain, the creek is very swollen,” Sgt. Stephen Wheeles of the Indiana State Police said.

Rescue teams located the vehicle stranded on a sandbar and began extracting the occupants. Rescue divers, equipped with safety lines, guided each of the three adults—one of whom is a high school senior—out of the vehicle one at a time.

“Fortunately, the vehicle got stuck on something where it stayed put long enough that officers could get there and make contact with the occupants,” Wheeles said.

The conditions were so severe that even a boat couldn’t be used during the rescue.

“We were able to have those certified divers make contact up close and personal with the occupants and get them out safely and to the shore,” Wheeles said.

All three individuals were rescued safely, shaken but uninjured.

The Ripley County Sheriff’s department said the vehicle remains in the creek about half a mile downstream and will have to wait until the water recedes before it can be retrieved.

Las Vegas, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have released body-worn camera video from their response to the deadly shooting at a grocery store last week.

The video captures the chaotic scene after Alejandro Estrada allegedly shot and killed Amanda and Victor Frias Rosas inside the Smith's store at Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard on May 12.

In the first video released, an officer arrives to find two people pinning Estrada to the ground outside the grocery store with others standing watch.

The people holding him down tell the officer that Estrada opened fire in the store, but they believed nobody had been struck by shots. A bystander brings a backpack to the officer, who tells someone on the radio that the gun is secured.

"That's what you get, bruh," one person yells as the officer handcuffs Estrada. "That's what you get. That's exactly what you get."

Another officer arrives, and they arrange a sweep of the store to determine if anyone had been shot. The first officer on scene keeps Estrada pinned to the pavement.

"He got jumped by about five people," the officer says to someone, " and he's bleeding pretty bad from his head."

Estrada is eventually moved to a stretcher and loaded onto an ambulance.

The officer later arranges for witnesses to stay on scene and communicates with pharmacy technicians through the drive-thru window.

They said they didn't have to think twice before taking action.

Truck flips over after a PIT maneuver was used on a wanted suspect during pursuit

North Austin, TX - A driver wanted on multiple warrants was arrested Sunday after Texas Department of Public Safety troopers used an immobilization tactic during a pursuit on northbound U.S. 183 near the MoPac Boulevard exit.

According to DPS, the incident occurred at about 3:53 a.m. after troopers spotted a pickup linked to an earlier dangerous pursuit on May 13. Officials shared dashcam footage of the previous chase, which shows the driver traveling the wrong way toward oncoming traffic, creating what the agency called a “serious threat” to other motorists.

When troopers spotted the pickup Sunday, they attempted to stop the vehicle for multiple traffic violations, but the driver accelerated and began weaving through traffic in an apparent attempt to flee, DPS said.

Because the truck was deemed a danger to the public, troopers opted to use a precision immobilization technique — or PIT maneuver — to stop the vehicle less than a mile into the pursuit. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, a PIT maneuver is “a technique used by law enforcement personnel to force a fleeing vehicle to abruptly turn 180 degrees, causing the vehicle to stall and stop.”

The maneuver caused the pickup to strike a median wall and roll over, landing upside down on the roadway. Dashcam footage shared by the agency shows the events leading up to the maneuver and the crash.

Authorities did not share how many occupants were inside the vehicle during the crash, but confirmed all occupants were removed from the vehicle. Two passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated by emergency personnel at the scene.

During a search of the pickup, troopers reported finding open containers of alcohol and marijuana shake.

The driver, whose name was not released publicly, was charged with evading arrest after the incident. He was also found to have multiple active warrants in Travis County for assault on a pregnant person, violation of a bond two or more times over 12 months, and evading arrest, in addition to other charges that the agency didn't specify. After he was medically cleared, he was booked into the Travis County Jail.

Jacksonville officer shot a suspect who kicked in multiple doors then pointed a gun at a officer

Jacksonville, FL - The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released video on Wednesday showing the moments that led to the fatal shooting of a man armed with a gun, who police said kicked in the doors of four homes in the Holiday Hill neighborhood earlier this month.

On May 4, officers responded to the reports of multiple armed burglaries on Rigel Road off Century 21 Drive.

They said that starting around 11:15 p.m., a man identified as 33-year-old Brandon Kaphers had kicked in the doors of four occupied homes while carrying a handgun.

Surveillance camera footage shared by JSO showed Kaphers walking up to the front door of a home with a gun in his hand. He appeared to ring the doorbell before kicking in the door and entering the home.

You can hear a woman say, “What the [expletive] was that?”

Not even a minute later, he walks out of the home, saying, “Man, y’all playing with me.”

“Yo, what the ****,” the woman can be heard saying after Kaphers walked out of the home.

According to police, Kaphers kicked in the front door of another home, went upstairs and pointed a gun at a resident in her bedroom. She immediately called 911.

Kaphers then went to kick in the front doors of two other homes.

In another video, officers could be seen pulling up to the neighborhood as Kaphers, who was still armed, was walking across the driveway of some homes.

A woman then pointed him out to the police. When he approached the police, the video showed him pointing the gun at them twice before officers fired multiple times.

Kaphers was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

JSO said Kaphers had a criminal history that included aggravated assault with a weapon, false imprisonment of a minor, and other charges.

Officer catches baby dropped from window of burning home

Kalamazoo, MI - A mother and her infant are safe after being rescued from a burning home in Kalamazoo, Mich., last week, thanks to a quick-thinking public safety officer who caught the baby after the mother dropped the child from a second-floor window into the officer's arms.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) crews responded to a working structure fire around 4:16 p.m. May 15 at a two-story residence. The home is divided into three separate living units, according to KDPS.

Dispatchers were alerted that a porch was on fire and that a woman and her infant were trapped inside the second-floor unit.

When first responders arrived, they found a fully involved porch fire on the right side of the building. While assessing the structure, crews spotted the woman in a second-floor window on the left side of the home, holding her baby as smoke poured out of the structure.

In body camera footage from an officer identified as Public Safety Officer Arnett, you can see Arnett circle the building searching for the woman and infant. Once he finds them, he can be heard encouraging the woman to kick the screen out of the window and drop the infant into his arms. Video then shows Arnett catch the child and shift focus to getting the mother out as well. KDPS said the baby was handed off to a nearby equipment operator. A ground ladder was then raised to the window, allowing the mother to climb down to safety.

Both the mother and the infant were taken to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation. Neither were injured.

Occupants of the two lower-level units self-evacuated and were not hurt.

Fighting the fire presented additional challenges because s the interior staircase had been damaged by the flames, forcing crews to use ground ladders to reach the second-floor porch, KDPS said.

Most of the fire was concentrated on the exterior right side of the home, but flames had spread into the attic. Firefighters removed portions of the roof edge and exterior siding to reach hidden flames, and additional crews removed sections of the ceiling inside to locate and extinguish remaining hot spots.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Elyria, OH - An Elyria man accused of leading officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle taken during an armed robbery earlier this year pleaded guilty to multiple charges Monday in Lorain County court.

Desmond J. Lewis, 28, faces a maximum of six years in prison after admitting to several felony charges in connection with the February carjacking and police pursuit, which ended with Lewis' surrender on U.S. Route 20.

As part of the conditions of Lewis' plea deal, the prosecution dismissed one count each of aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability. Lewis pleaded guilty to the following charges:

  • Misdemeanor theft
  • Grand theft of a motor vehicle
  • Failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer (two counts)
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Obstructing official business
  • Operation in willful and wanton disregard of the safety of persons or property

Lewis is scheduled for sentencing on June 29.

On Feb. 4, police responded to a report of a carjacking near Lorain Boulevard, north of Bell Avenue, where Lewis allegedly stole a vehicle after brandishing a firearm. Police said Lewis fled before officers arrived, and the vehicle was not immediately located.

The next morning, Elyria officers spotted the stolen vehicle near West Avenue and Oberlin Road and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, police said. The driver failed to stop, prompting a pursuit that continued south on state Route 301.

According to police, Lewis entered the eastbound ramp to U.S. Route 20 but then turned and traveled westbound in the eastbound lanes. Shortly after entering the highway, the vehicle experienced an apparent engine failure and rolled to a stop in the eastbound lanes, just west of Route 301.

Officials say Elyria officers conducted "a high-risk traffic stop," but Lewis initially refused to comply with commands.

Additional Elyria officers responded, along with deputies from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Authorities closed the roadway while negotiating with the suspect. After about 30 minutes, Lewis surrendered without incident, police said.

Lewis, who police said has an extensive violent criminal history involving firearms, was taken into custody and booked into the Lorain County Jail.

No injuries were reported during the robbery or pursuit, police said.

Bakersfield, CA - The Kern County Sheriff's Office released body-cam footage on Tuesday of the incident that led to the death of the suspect who shot and killed Tulare County Sheriff's Office detective Randy Hoppert in April.

Law enforcement was involved in a stand-off with Morales for several hours.

The BearCat used in the incident was provided by the Kern County Sheriff's Office. Eric Morales, 59, shot at the BearCat, striking it, said deputies.

Subsequently, the BearCat ran over and killed Morales after he shot at the vehicle, according to the footage provided.

KCSO deputy Chad Clark was placed on routine critical incident leave pending the completion of the investigation, said the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

Suspect David Eric Morales shot and killed TCSO detective Randy Hoppert, said the Tulare County Sheriff's Office.

The incident stemmed from earlier in the day, when on April 9, 2026, at around 10:20 a.m. near Newcomb Street and Grand Avenue, deputies attempted to serve an eviction notice to 59-year-old David Eric Morales.

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said. Boudreaux said Morales had been notified about a month earlier that he would need to leave his home.

Authorities said Morales opened fire with a rifle, prompting an officer-involved shooting and a large response from multiple agencies, including Porterville police, Visalia police and the California Highway Patrol.

During the chaos, Tulare County Detective Randy Hoppert was shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Hoppert leaves behind his wife and a four-month-old baby.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deadly use of force in the incident. It will be submitted to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office for review.

K-9 Titan takes first bite out of crime, apprehending domestic battery suspect

Flagler County, FL - Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Palm Coast man following a domestic disturbance investigation Sunday night that escalated into a barricade situation and ended with one suspect in custody and FCSO K-9 Titan taking his first bite out of crime.

Deputies responded to a home in the R Section of Palm Coast around 10:00 p.m. after the Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a distraught victim reporting that Ilia Javoronkov, 43, of Palm Coast, was hurting them. During the call, the victim pleaded for help, stating “He’s going to kill me” and “Please bring help; he’s hurting me.”

As deputies arrived, they could hear yelling from inside the home. When Javoronkov came to the door, deputies observed the victim behind him, appearing fearful and attempting to stay back. Deputies separated the parties by having the victim speak with them outside. Shortly after, Javoronkov shut the door and refused to cooperate.

The victim reported that an argument began and Javoronkov threw the victim, causing visible injuries. The victim stated that Javoronkov shoved the victim into a closet and strangled the victim while attempting to access a gun safe. The victim stated feeling “the blood draining from my head” while being strangled.

According to the victim, Javoronkov did not have the combination to the gun safe but threatened to kill the victim if he gained access. The victim also reported that Javoronkov left the bedroom, and after he returned, the victim held the bedroom door shut. During the struggle over the door, Javoronkov again threatened, “If I get inside, I’m going to kill you.” Javoronkov barricaded himself inside the home and refused to exit.

Throughout the incident, he would open the front door and garage door multiple times to yell derogatory remarks at deputies and tell them to get off the property. Master Deputy Jenkins, serving as a crisis negotiator, attempted to communicate with Javoronkov by phone and text message for approximately 2.5 hours. During that time, Javoronkov refused to cooperate and, when advised he was under arrest, stated, “Come and get me.”

After extended negotiations, Javoronkov moved to the back of the residence where FCSO K-9 Titan apprehended him and held him while deputies secured him.

Javoronkov was transported to a medical facility, where he refused medical treatment and continued to yell threats toward law enforcement and hospital staff. After being medically cleared, he was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

Javoronkov was arrested for domestic violence battery by strangulation, obstruction without violence, and false imprisonment. He is being held on a $23,500 bond.

“Domestic violence situations can turn deadly in seconds, and when someone makes threats like ‘I’m going to kill you,’ our deputies and K9s are going to treat it as the danger it is,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “We attempted for over 2-hours to de-escalate the situation but when that didn’t work and the opportunity presented itself, K9 Titan took a bite out of crime and got the suspect as he requested.”

Javoronkov has a history of grand theft, dealing in stolen property, burglary, battery and disorderly conduct.

Greensboro Police Officer was justified in deadly August 2025 shooting

Finding videos takes time and effort, keep me motivated by donating to https://paypal.me/thisisbutter or Cashapp $thisisbutter1

Greensboro, NC - Greensboro police released body-worn camera footage on Monday related to a fatal shooting last year, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 4:06 p.m. on Aug. 5, a Greensboro officer was flagged down by a resident in the 1600 block of Marion Street about a trespasser call.

The resident directed the officer toward a man, later identified as 48-year-old Said Ezzine, who was suspected of trespassing on a nearby property.

The officer then started talking to Ezzine, and he refused to comply with repeated commands from the officer.

Ezzine got a weapon and moved toward the officer, and the officer shot him, police say.

The officer requested EMS and rendered aid. Despite the life-saving efforts, Ezzine died at the scene.

“Any loss of life during an encounter with law enforcement is significant and deeply impactful for the individual’s loved ones, for the officers involved and for the broader community we serve, “GPD Chief Kamran Afzal said during a news conference on Monday. “These incidents are difficult. They carry understandable emotion, and they deserve careful review and transparency.”

On Monday, the GPD released the body-worn camera footage of the officer-involved shooting.

Police say the officer was familiar with Ezzine due to previous encounters with him.

The GPD says his recent arrest history included charges of assault on officers.

At one point, the officer can be heard saying, “Come here, friend. I just need to talk to you.”

Ezzine is then seen walking away.

In the video, an officer points a taser at Ezzine but does not use it.

“Use of taser is prohibited unless there is an imminent threat. So the fact that he was merely walking away, we are not by federal Court of Appeals decision, … allowed to use taser in that instance. So we are limited, and pretty much anybody in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and parts of South Carolina are limited based on that ruling, and that applies to us,” Afzal said.

Ezzine is seen walking away and going into a shed on the property. Police say he grabbed a steerwheel lock. He later picks up a saw blade and walks towards the officer.

He throws the saw blade on the ground, picks up a pipe wrench and begins walking toward the officer again.

The officer fires his gun four times.

After being shot, Ezzine ran behind the home. EMS was called, and he died at the scene.

Lady Lake, FL - A Lady Lake woman was arrested on an animal cruelty charge after police rescued a puppy from a hot vehicle parked at a shopping center along U.S. HWY 27/441.

Lady Lake police responded around 2:25 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, to the Five Below parking lot after a witness reported a dog locked inside a parked car with the windows only slightly cracked. At the time, temperatures were above 92 degrees with sunny, humid conditions.

Officers Jeffrey Burns and Michael Tisdell located a white Mercury Grand Marquis parked in direct sunlight with no shade. Inside, they found a black puppy panting heavily, crying and scratching at the window. Officers noted the puppy’s tongue was extended, and it appeared to be in distress.

The engine was off, and officers said the interior of the vehicle was extremely hot. Unable to reach the locks through the window opening, they used a baton to activate the door unlock mechanism and remove the puppy. Once freed, the officers gave the dog water and placed it in an air-conditioned patrol vehicle.

Officers had been on scene about 10 minutes when the vehicle’s owner returned. The woman, identified as 26-year-old Yeneese Mystic Morejon, told officers she had only been inside the store for “like 30 seconds” and said the line was long.

However, a witness told police the dog may have been inside the vehicle for 45 minutes to an hour, based on when she arrived and later noticed the animal in distress.

Authorities said Morejon was on felony probation through the Florida Department of Correction at the time of the incident. She was arrested and transported to the Lake County Jail without incident.

Genesee County, MI - A senior prank caught on police body camera video in Genesee County is raising fresh concerns about the end-of-year game known as “water wars,” in which students use squirt guns to “eliminate” opponents in a bracket-style competition that can include cash prizes.

Davison Township police Chief Jay Rendon said an officer responding to a 911 call about suspicious activity believed he may have been walking into an active burglary when he approached an open fence and encountered a teen who jumped out and sprayed him with a squirt gun.

Rendon said the officer had only moments to assess the threat.

“He just had a fantastic action not to fire and shoot this kid,” Rendon said. “He had milliseconds to make that decision.”

Davison Community Schools sent a letter to parents of seniors urging students to stop playing the game, saying police have responded to other incidents tied to “water wars,” including speeding, trespassing, and disruptions to local businesses.

Tampa, FL - After a Black man was approached by a Tampa police officer while sitting in his car outside of a bank, his video of the interaction went viral.

Now, newly released police body camera footage shows another angle of the incident – and why the bank says they contacted authorities.

On May 6, a Tampa Police Department officer was called to the Chase Bank location on Kennedy Boulevard to investigate a reported suspicious vehicle. The body camera footage has a time-stamp showing that the interaction occurred just before 9 a.m., the bank’s posted opening time.

The officer approached the driver, who told him he was just waiting for the bank to open. Bank staff reported the driver having an “open container” of alcohol, but the footage showed that it was just a Red Bull energy drink.

The driver explained that he operated several Airbnb properties and was there to conduct business at the bank.

After speaking with a staff member, the officer returned to the car and informed the driver that the bank was now open.

Ashville, OH - On Jan. 20, law enforcement was called to the 4800 block of Duvall Road, located in the Ashville Country Estates mobile home park, for a report of a sexual assault in progress, according to a spokesperson for the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, Ashville Police Department and South Bloomfield Police Department responded to the scene.

Bodycam footage shows a law enforcement officer running up to a mobile home where the suspect is standing outside the front door holding a gun. Another law enforcement officer was already on scene. Documents from the sheriff's office identified the suspect as 22-year-old Chase Dalton.

The video shows the authorities asking Dalton to drop the gun several times. After about 10 minutes, the video shows Dalton raising the gun and law enforcement firing several shots.

Dalton falls to the ground and authorities, as well as medics, rush over to him and begin providing first aid. A law enforcement officer can be heard saying the gun is on the stairs outside the front door.

Law enforcement officials can be heard asking if Dalton fired a shot, to which at least two authorities said yes.

Dalton was taken to a Columbus hospital, where he died.

A juvenile was treated for a non-life-threatening injury that occurred before law enforcement arrived.
