Phobos captain not updated in the app?
These are his gun profiles. One from the physical book, the other from the app. I assume the hook is right?

Yeah space marines are T5. Big deal. Their points are going to increase, and who knows how bad that'll be. Whats to say a unit of 5 wont be 100pts? 120pts? 150pts? We have no idea.
We're looking at half completed information.
Ontop of this, most armies have a way to stil deal with them. If anything, they may be easier. With less units on the board, you're able to focus fire. Each kill means more.
People fight custodes all the time and never seem to have an issue???
I say this as a player of almost every faction, this will be a positive for the game. It is allowing for more variance in units, and models like Eldar Aspect warriors and Battlesisters to potentially bump up to t4 and seperate them from guardsmen.
We should be encouraging this type of change.
Rant over. It's been upsetting seeing every subreddit from every army complain when its just a sign that things are changing in the right direction.
I'll make it a bit prettier, and touch up on grammar/wording, I just wanted to see what balancing issues you all would come up with. I'm also unsure of the costing test limit on the enhancements, and points for them as well. I was thinking Purge the foe. I'd love feedback, thanks!!!!
I'd also love ideas for 2 more enhancements. I had a few ideas, but they werent my favorite.
I'm also not dead set on the name, like at all.
Hey!
I wanted to take some time and discuss magnus as we get into 11th edition. I'm curious on your guy's opinions on his use. I'm also curious if anyone is running him with deepstrike. Thanks!
I don't know. I was just thinking about it and we have Tacticus and Gravis battleline units but no phobos. Maybe Reivers or something with all their objective shenanigans could become battleline. We even have First born. Just food for thought lol.
Heres my current top games (Games in a series include entire series, I just put my favorite. EX: Nier Autotomata and Replicant)
Up next I was gonna try::
Cyberpunk
Stellerblade
FF7 or 10 haven't decided yet
Lmk if there are any peak games i'm missing out on. Thanks!
Hello everyone. I've been playing ASA for a little bit now, and after messing with some settings and mods my game looks and runs great. Everything seems to be working well, the game is beautiful and has been enjoyable.
Why is there SO MUCH hate?
I feel like all I see is people hating on the game. Am I missing something?
Thanks
I and many others probably feel a little wronged by the points increase, but that is just crazy. I was setting up the orks I got from Armageddon in a list and realized they are the same as 10 guardsmen.
I made another post about my experience with 11th edition so far, and it seemed people were looking for how the saves worked. Here is how i'd explain it.
Lets say you have 5 intercessors and a lieutenant with shield.
Intercessors are T4. 3+ Save. And 2W.
Lieutenant is same stats, but with a 4+inv, and 4 wounds.
If you get attacked by a bunch of heavy bolter shots
(S5, AP -1, D2), this is what will happen.
Divide your unit into groups of different saves, in this example there are 2.
Intercessors, and Lieutenant.
Say 8 bolter shots hit. That is 8 saves at -1.
You roll all 8 saves at once. You then line them up from smallest to biggest.
Say you rolled:
1,1,2,3,3,3,4,5
First group (Non character) goes first, and you work through from smallest to biggest.
1: hits, intercessors dead
1: hits, intercessors dead
2: hits, intercessors dead
3: hits, intercessors dead
3: hits, intercessors dead
Thats squad, then we move to the Lieutenant with the rest.
3: hits, Lieutenant at 2
4: Saves
5: Saves
Bodyguard is dead, Lieutenant is at 2.
(The unit is still alive until the Lieutenant is dead, so intercessors can be brought back, and opponent doesn't score Purge, etc, for killing it yet)
Hope this helped!
I don't want this to be a super long post, so I'll keep it simple. If there are any questions, please ask away.
I played my 5th game of 11th lastnight, and wanted to share what I thought. I played as Eldar, Ultramarines, T'au, Guard, and Thousand sons. Each game a different army.
I feel that shooting was actually stronger than Melee in my games, often relying on the bigger vehicles like Riptide, Lemun russes, and Gladiators to do most of the work.
The boards are so much nicer. The game felt MUCH more enjoyable to play. There were more cinematic moments, with big characters fighting in the middle, or lines of infantry running through back allies. It just felt nicer to play.
The save rules are better than they are in 10th for characters. Almost always a character will have to be killed seperate than the unit, because they take all the bad saves from them. Makes attaching characters to units you usually wouldn't before a bit more friendly. Was especially nice for thousand sons and their sorcerers + psycic ignoring things and such.
Transports seem really important.
Artillery (I I particularly mean FOB's from Guard) overperformed. They hit on 4's when guided, just like in 10th., but now always have their -1ap. They made their points up, and were an incredible home field screening tool with how big the deployments are now.
These were the big ones. If anyone has any questions like!
Would a Valkyrie be a good spotter? Don't they ignore LOS blocking terrain and such, therefore be able to see every unit when they enter the board and "mark" targets? They're tough, and can do damage on their own aswell. If they get any cheaper with 11th, is this a bad plan?
3 favorite games were allowed two slots, and No man's sky took the top spot as my 4th favorite. Curious on if anyone has any good game recommendations. (Games here represent their whole series, aka Halo 1-5, Destiny 1/2, space marine 1/2, etc.)
Here's why:
Lets look at the ole' FOB
Currently (With Take aim, and assumed stationary) it hits on 3+, going to 4's because of indirect, wounding on whatever, then going to AP 0 because of Cover.
If indirect works the SAME EXACT way when a unit is NOT hidden, it will be (With Take aim, and assumed stationary) hitting on 4+ because of Cover, wounding on whatever, STAYING AT AP -1.
It hits the SAME, but has HIGHER AP.
On top of this, they mentioned in the QaA that units like artillery are getting points cut. Meaning there is a VERY REAL CHANCE that artillery is better AND cheaper in 11th.
POST: There is a possibility everything in this post is changed when the proper 11th edition drops, but going strictly off what we know, this is what I believe.
