The fission reaction was accomplished by shooting a hollow cylinder (the "bullet") onto a solid cylinder of the same material (the "target") by means of a propellant charge. Little Boy contained 64 kilograms of highly enriched uranium.

I recently bought my first Kallax shelf (the 2x4 unit) and assembled it with the metal riser to get it off the ground. It looked great and everything was perfect for the first week.Last night I noticed it starting to bow slightly in the middle. I’ve read that this can be a common issue with the weight of the records. Does anyone have tips or ideas on how to shore it up and prevent it from collapsing? What worked for you?

Saw this 911 over the weekend. Thought the Deadheads would appreciate it. But not why I’m here…☮️:

Longtime lurker, and I’ve been watching a whole lotta yt re these Caymans. Two have caught my eye:

2014 Agate/Beige. 26K miles. 2 owners. Excellent service records. Loaded with goodies, PDK. Ask is $59,700.

2015 Black/Beige. 44K miles. 3 owners. Excellent service. Also loaded, manual. Ask is $51,990.

All things being equal, do these prices make sense? Preferences for auto or manual?

What do the experienced Cayman pilots think about this choice?

Luckily he does not like the Dynaco ST-70. Probably because it’s the temperature of the sun. lol
