Finally got the Garvey’s Ghost after years and years of searching!
Been collecting records for about 16 years and more recently got into vintage gear. The gear has taken a little over 2 years to collect.
Horn sputtered out and now doesn’t work at all! Just hit 25k miles. Anyone else have this issue
I was extremely nervous about this one, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I envisioned! Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. Now I’m super excited to get it finished
Does anyone have knobs for this unit they could sell me? I’m looking for these three. When i looked on ebay the prices were wild! Thanks for any help
Hello everyone!
I’m looking to upgrade my turntable soon and have narrowed my choice down to this Fluance. I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who owns one—what are the pros, cons, and overall experience with it so far? For context, I’m currently running an Audio-Technica AT-LPW40WN paired with a Nagaoka MP-110 cartridge. Thanks in advance for the input
I was extremely excited to find this today. Easily VG+/VG+ that I happily paid $40 for. 1957 Mono Prestige copy 😎
This was a first. I Just received an album where the "shipping mailer" was literally a folded-over plastic yard sign! To top it off, they taped the actual album jacket directly to the plastic! Had to share it with you guys. 😂🤦🏻♂️
I recently bought my first Kallax shelf (the 2x4 unit) and assembled it with the metal riser to get it off the ground. It looked great and everything was perfect for the first week.Last night I noticed it starting to bow slightly in the middle. I’ve read that this can be a common issue with the weight of the records. Does anyone have tips or ideas on how to shore it up and prevent it from collapsing? What worked for you?
Thanks!

I found one on marketplace that appears to be in good shape. The unit doesn’t have the dust cover or headshell. From the pictures I see some wear on side and corners. The seller is asking $600 and I’m not familiar enough with Technics to know if this is a good price or not? I’m currently using an Audio Technica AT-LPW40WN turntable with a Nagaoka MP-110. Any information is greatly appreciated!
