Restorations

I think this question had been asked before. What will happened after 3 restorations?

EDIT: for clarifying… I went to a hiring pool for the title.. I had used one out of three restorations already. I just wanted to know what happened after three restorationsx

ACS hiring pool

ACS had sent me 4th hiring pool email this morning.. I don’t know what to do at this point, since I went to the first two hiring pools, and filled out declination form for the third hiring pool and requested my first restoration for paralegal aide title.

I don’t want to go but at same time I don’t want to respond to the email.. I don’t want to wait for another few years to retake the exam again. what will happen if I don’t respond the email and not showing up? Will DCAS make me to fill out second restoration?

Any insights on that?

Permanent civil title to non competitive title

My sincere apologies if this is being discussed before…

I had permanent title already. Is it worth for me to apply non competitive title like community associates title with higher pay, but less protections?

Gashapon Bandai Official Shop

I finally went to the shop today and spent $30 since it’s $3 per token. It’s expensive for sure. And top of that, I didn’t see a lot of people spent the money since they were just that window shopping throughout the store. It wasn’t super busy at all since the employees were standing around and relaxing. I got lucky with 3 out of 4.

It’s fun for the experiences but I don’t think I would go back for second time.

What’s everyone’s thoughts and experiences when you were?

Need some advices

Right now, I am half way through 1 year probation at my current agency H+H already, with my clerical associate title (permanent title already from previous mayoral agency). I already feel mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted, because of politics and micromanaging, and etc. I can’t use my hours without being approved ahead of time. If I called out on the day of, then it will count against me and looks bad on my annual review at the end of my probation, but I have kept all emails from my supervisor and HR for documentation-wise.

At this point, I am at the edge of meltdown and going to quit. I don’t know what to do. Please helps. Any advice will help. Thanks in the advance.

DP72 request…

I recently went to Paralegal Aide hiring pool for Dept of Law, and they had given all candidates a sheet that included we had to make DP72 request to our HR of our agencies within three days of hiring pool, even they won’t given me a definitive answer of if I got an offer or not after 2-3 weeks of hiring pool.

I work for H+H right now but they don’t do DP72 form at all. So i have reached out to Dept of Law to have them to talk to the person handle civil services issues at my local H+H HR office of the borough. On top of that, Dept of Law had explained to me in email regarding to whether they make an offer or not, and still want to pick me up.

I am not sure if I did it correctly. Can anyone give me some insights and advices, please? Thanks in the advance.

This vacant store finally got someone there now.

I was walking by this place from staples at the corner of Broadway and Northern Blvd towards street fair earlier today. I am genuinely happy for building owner got someone filled in that vacant store front.

Why people sit next to others….

When there are plenty of seats to choose from on a mostly empty bus?!? It’s a very creepy thing to do…,
