Does anyone know what this is?

For context, my account is 3 years old bc I created it and never used Reddit, but as of a few weeks ago I just started using it. I’m not really knowledgeable on how everything works but I got these weird message requests yesterday and I’m wondering is this a frequent thing that happens on here? Yesterday these two accounts, one was made 10hrs ago the other 37 minutes ago, message requested me both saying yo. When I accepted and responded to one of them, they responded with where are you located. Both accounts had no posts or no interactions prior to them messaging me. Both accounts only said one karma and I’m not rlly sure what that means. I’m lowkey creeped out but I was wondering if this is a common occurrence on here or should I genuinely be a little worried?

I’m kind of confused on what this might be.

Makeup tips

Hey guys, I’m still kind of new to makeup and don’t do it quite often. I always wondered if I could pull off douyin makeup and really wanted to try it. Could my features suit douyin makeup and what other makeup style could I try that would also suit me? (Any tips on how to improve my current look helps as well)

I’m at a lost

I’m not even sure life is worth living anymore. I’m currently at my grandmother’s house with my mom, sister, and grandmother, and they’ve been making heavy comments. For context, this issue happened to me a few months ago, I went from being a girl who was known for smelling good to a girl who smells “musty” as some people say. I’ve heard people at my job say things about me and strangers in stores. It started from my family tho. When I was around they would randomly spray perfumes and air fresheners while making faces. When I would ask my mom consistently if I smelled bad, she would always say no, but she would be the main one to make gestures or smart comments in front of others. When I started classes and got jobs that’s when it only got worse. It caused me to not want to even go outside or even get dressed up anymore, even quitting my jobs and only staying home. I felt as if it was no point because I smelt bad. So today, I decided I wanted to get pretty and dressed up. My mom and sister complimented me immediately when they saw me, but when I got in the vehicle to go over my grandmother’s house, she started spraying perfume on herself heavily. (She hasn’t done something like this in a while) So when I arrived, the compliments continued flowing then all of a sudden the comments came. Normally, they used to do subtle comments and gestures, this time they were really loud about it. Saying something smells bad and spraying themselves with perfume. Saying they wanna puke because a smell is catching their nose. Mind you, they always beg me to come around them, when I do all they do is make comments and gestures.

Compliments

Hey everyone, I wanted to know if during your experience with bromhidrosis or any body odor related issues, has anyone ever complimented you on your scent? For context, I have been struggling with body odor for over 6 months now. It just happened out of the blue. I went from being someone who was complimented on my scent heavily, to family members spraying around me, making faces, talking behind my back, and more. After that, when I started college and got my first job, I noticed people would react heavily to me. Especially at work because I would sweat a lot. Coworkers would make fun of me and even be very rude to me. At first I assumed that customers and coworkers were making fun of the smell of the building because everytime I would be in there, it smelled terrible. Then I started assuming it was me because of previous experiences. That’s when I started finding out about bromhidrosis and all of these other odor related issues. So when I went into my next jobs I assumed the worse. It seemed as though things had actually got worse because I was over aware of people’s emotions by this point, thinking everything was about me. Even in this new job people would make faces and say it stunk, even though I wouldn’t smell anything. What was really weird was that I guess around this time I started having patm symptoms. They weren’t as strong at first but when I left the job and started the new one, the patm was wayyy worse even though I wasn’t sweating or stressing nearly as much as I was at the old job. So it caught me by surprise and lead me to believe I was a terrible smelling individual. However, having a couple of encounters at my new job I noticed weird things. People would have reactions by me and make faces, but a lot of people would stand really close to me sometimes. It confused me because i was always led to believe when someone smelled bad you wouldn’t really wanna come in contact with them, but people were always comfortable being close by me. On a couple of an accounts I had random older ladies compliment me on the way that I smelled. I say all this to ask, has anyone ever gotten complimented on their smell even though they have body odor issues? If so why do you think they’re unable to smell your odor yet some people can?
